This California Mayor, an Immigrant Himself, Explains Why He’s ‘Very Proud’ to Deport Illegal Immigrants From His City

Via The Daily Timewaster

Sam Abed, the mayor of Escondido, California, took pride in deporting illegal immigrants from his city and said he wants a repeal of the state’s sanctuary laws Wednesday on Fox Business’ “The Evening Edit.”

“I am very proud, you know, as an immigrant, as a leader of this city, to have deported 2,700 illegal criminals from our community and made our community safe,” Abed said. “Escondido’s crime rate went down 48 percent since our cooperation with ICE. And Escondido today is as safe as it was in 1980.”

On Remaining Humble in Modern Academia

After reading Richard Weaver’s monumental work Ideas Have Consequences last semester I was struck with one characterization of the “ideal man” that has since been shaping the way I look at my own academic future. For a young seminary student like myself pursuing “Christ-likeness” was a given, but my eyes were never fully open to what that meant in relation to my academic career and my identity in connection with it. Let me explain.

Criminal Clapper: ‘It’s a Good Thing’ Obama’s FBI Was Spying on Trump’s Campaign

Now of course this is after he initially denied the Intelligence Community was spying on Donald Trump.
The Deep State liars have gone from denial to celebrating the illegal spying.

While speaking to Clapper, CNN’s Don Lemon referenced the NY Times article which revealed the FBI embedded at least one spy in Trump’s camp during the 2016 election.

Clapper the leaker immediately went into spin mode and brought up those pesky Russians.

“They may have had someone who was talking to them in the campaign, but, you know, the focus here is not on the campaign, per se, but what the Russians were doing,” Clapper said.

Right, the Russians were the focus, not American citizens…

Grassley Demands Unredacted Rosenstein Memo Detailing Mueller’s Scope: MEMO PENNED 3 MONTHS AFTER MUELLER APPOINTED!

It's getting better all the time! :)

It’s also important to note that the FBI raided Paul Manafort’s home with guns drawn, several days before Rosenstein wrote his August 2nd memo.
In Chairman Grassley’s letter to the DOJ, he noted Mueller’s team had just given Rosenstein’s memo to Judge Ellis therefore the Senate Judiciary Committee should be permitted to review the document.

Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) sent a letter to the Justice Department Friday demanding Rosenstein’s unredacted memo detailing Mueller’s scope.

In Chairman Grassley’s letter to the DOJ, he noted Mueller’s team had just given Rosenstein’s memo to Judge Ellis therefore the Senate Judiciary Committee should be permitted to review the document.
Grassley also criticized the time frame in which the memo was penned by Rosenstein–three months after Mueller was appointed.

It’s also important to note that the FBI raided Paul Manafort’s home with guns drawn, several days before Rosenstein wrote his August 2nd memo.

It is no surprise then that a federal judge in a May 8, 2018 hearing in the Eastern District
of Virginia expressed some skepticism about a heavily redacted August 2017 memorandum that
was drafted three months after you issued the Order appointing Robert Mueller as Special
Counsel, and that you both now assert details the actual scope of his investigation.

Never-Trump Glenn Beck Endorses Donald Trump who will re-take the White House in 2020 in a “landslide.”

Glenn Beck wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat.

Beck said his decision to finally support the President came after watching the “dishonest and corrupt” media mischaracterized Trump’s comments, in which he described MS-13 gang members as “animals,” on Thursday.

“Media, if you can get me, Glenn Beck, to do this,” he said, “If you can drive me to the point to where I say, ‘You know what, I’ve had enough; I’ll vote for him in 2020’– you’re making a gigantic mistake.”

During this monologue, Beck put a red “Make America Great Again” hat on his head and announced the symbolic act to his radio listeners.

Beck added he believes Trump will re-take the White House in 2020 in a “landslide.”

His comments came after years of staunch opposition to Trump, starting with the 2016 Republican primary. Beck made his first-ever primary endorsement during that race, backing Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and speaking at several Cruz rallies. He appeared on CNN and labeled Trump a “dangerous man,” contributed to National Review‘s “Against Trump” special issue,  and infamously stuck his face in a bowl of crushed Cheetos before Trump ultimately won the Republican nomination.

Sen. Rand Paul: It’s Time to Say ‘We’re Not Going to Leave Our Kids Defenseless’

 Breitbart

During a May 18 Fox News appearance Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said it is time for Americans to take a stand and say, “We’re not going to leave our kids defenseless.”

His comments came in the wake of the shooting that killed at least 8 at Santa Fe High School.
Paul said, “Why don’t we say it as a country – we’re not going to leave our kids defenseless. We’re going to defend them.”

He also spoke to Hollywood celebrities who react to a high profile firearm-based crime with calls for more gun control, saying, “Every Hollywood actor that hates guns has armed bodyguards defending them. So they hate guns unless the guns are defending them.”

Paul’s call to protect our children is reminiscent of President Trump’s response to the February 14 Parkland school shooting. CNN reported that Trump responded to Parkland by saying that a “gun-free zone to a maniac—because they’re all cowards—a gun-free zone is ‘let’s go in and let’s attack because bullets aren’t coming back at us.’” Trump said adopting a policy where “20 percent” of teachers are armed would reduce or eliminate the perception of weakness, making schools a riskier target to strike.

Farm bill fails in House, amid conservative uprising over immigration

A sprawling and subsidy-packed farm bill that also would have tightened food stamp rules failed in the House on Friday, in a dramatic defeat for GOP leaders who faced an uprising from conservatives over inaction on immigration.

The farm bill, which was voted down 213-198, had been hanging in the balance as the conservative House Freedom Caucus threatened to withhold support without an agreement on an immigration bill vote.

The GOP leadership, including House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., and Whip Steve Scalise, R-La., were seen in intense discussions with the conservative lawmakers in the minutes before the vote.

Presidents and Mass Shootings

Mass shootings occur with depressing regularity in contemporary American life. Whether those shootings take place in Parkland or Las Vegas, Newtown or Fort Hood, the effect on our public discourse is the same. Those on the left call for more gun control. Those on the right talk about mental health and better enforcement of the laws already on the books. The emotional and intellectual responses of most individuals to such tragedies rarely influence our national discourse, except in one notable case: the president of the United States.

Rape, of body and mind

Via Mike

"Taharrush," or "collective harassment," is an Arab phenomenon that defines an horrific form of rape, both physically and psychologically. Originating as a weapon against female protestors in Tahrir Square in Egypt, May 2005, it became commonplace by 2012, and it has reached Europe. It takes the form of a group of male aggressors who encircle the female in a public setting and simultaneously grope, molest, beat and rape her, while a second, outer circle of men diverts the attention of strangers. While they continue to scream Allahu Akbar, the outer ring prevents the victim from being heard or accessed by police, who might also be fewer than required and inadequately armed.

Islamic rape is steeped in hatred and vengeance. These jihadis have been trained to hate and dehumanize women, and inflict great physical harm on the female, who may be as young as a toddler or as old as Lost Horizon's Lo-Tsen. There are also Muslim gangs, criminal organizations that kidnap young girls for sexual slavery, rape and torture.

Burns Chronicles No 63 – Jason (Joker J) Blomgren — Snitch

Jason “Joker J” Blomgren has hit Facebook, defending his action in his interview with the FBI regarding the events at Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, 30 miles south of Burns, Oregon.

A few days ago, I received a copy of the FBI form 302 regarding the report of the interview, and summated by the two FBI agents that conducted the interview.  My experience is that such a form is accurate, with regard to the information obtained.  Joker J contends that it is not accurate.  However, the knowledge of events tends to lend accuracy to lend credibility to the accuracy of those events, as certain information provided is well beyond the scope of anything that the FBI would have known, absent this interview.

I understand that there is a video of the interview that is posted on the Internet.  That would be an accurate account of the interview, and though I haven’t (and have no intention of doing) listened to the interview, I will rely upon this 302, is that is the written information that the FBI, Prosecutors, and the Court would rely upon.

What a Sideshow — The Mueller Case Is Falling Apart

Lawyers defending the Russian company Concord Management indicted by the corrupt Mueller team again called out Mueller’s liberal hacks and labeled their allegations as “made up” nonsense.

As reported on Wednesday, Concord Management’s lawyers revealed that Mueller’s team of ignored over 70 discovery requests they had made for information before the case.  In response Mueller’s team offered to give Concord Management’s lawyers a massive amount of social media data from those dangerous trolls (jk) who sought to influence the US election and the majority of it was in RUSSIAN.

Trump Uses Reagan Rule to Block Abortion Funding

In 1988, President Ronald Reagan used Title X regulations to prevent organizations that receive federal dollars from promoting or referring for abortions, or from sharing physical space with abortion providers. After all, the 1970 law establishing Title X states: “None of the funds appropriated under this title shall be used in programs where abortion is a method of family planning.” Nevertheless, abortion proponents sued. Though the Supreme Court ruled in Reagan’s favor, the policy never actually went into effect because neither President Bush followed his lead, and, naturally, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama opposed it. President Donald Trump, however, plans to resurrect that rule in an announcement today. Stand by for Planned Parenthood to sue in three, two, one…

W&L University Prepares to Eliminate All Confederate History From Its Campus

Via Susan

Image result for lee tomb

Not satisfied with the desecration of the Lee Chapel, prohibiting Confederate Memorial Services on the grounds, and caving in to every single demand of the 6 law students several years ago, the new President of Washington and Lee University in Lexington appointed a committee to study the "problem" of the university's association with Lee.  The results may shock some, but certainly not any of us who have dealt with the university over the past several years.

The report is available online here...  https://www.wlu.edu/presidents-office/issues-and-initiatives/commission-on-institutional-history-and-community/report-of-the-commission-on-institutional-history-and-community

It is lengthy and nauseating.  We will offer you just A FEW of the committee's  recommendations, which should give you enough of an idea of exactly what is about to take place...

"The commission recognized that it will take time to complete the changes proposed for Lee Chapel and to create a new community gathering space. If the chapel continues to be used in the interim, the university should make several modifications. The portrait of Lee in military garb in the chapel should be replaced by a portrait of Lee in civilian dress. In addition, the fire doors separating the auditorium from the apse should be closed. The Book of Remembrance and the plaque honoring the Confederate soldiers of the Rockbridge Regiment should be temporarily removed during the interim period; if temporary removal is not feasible, didactics should be put in place that will contextualize the objects. In addition, the university should provide guidelines for programming in the chapel during the interim period, and for managing social media connected to the chapel. Finally, in order to avoid commercializing the university's connection to Lee and the Confederacy, the museum shop should be closed during the interim period."

"Display only portraits of Lee that portray him in civilian attire, not as a Confederate general. Acquire and prominently display portraits — in either 2D or 3D media — that feature individuals who represent the university's complete history." (This is campus wide)

"The newly formed naming committee consider renaming three campus buildings named for Lee (Lee House, Lee Chapel, and Lee-Jackson House)."

Any questions?

Breitbart News is Censoring Americans Who Oppose Amnesty for Illegals

Via comment by Rebor onSteve King: ‘Rotten’ GOP Amnesty Petition Gives Pa...

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is sounding the alarm that Breitbart News is censoring voices that oppose Amnesty for illegal immigrants or criticize Trump's reversals on Amnesty in an effort to support the Trump backed Amnesty bill sponsored by Rep. Goodlatte (HR 4760: Securing America's Future Act).

While HR 4760 promises conservative voters many things they want to hear about building a wall and reducing legal immigration levels, the core mission of the legislation is to get through an Amnesty for a minimum of 800,000 illegal aliens currently given immunity from existing immigration laws by Obama's and Trump's illegal and unconstitutional DACA orders. ALIPAC defeated Senator Dick Durbin's Dream Act bill in the US Senate in December of 2010 by releasing a hidden clause within the bill that would allow DHS to waive all Amnesty limits and immigration enforcement promises.

DACA Amnesty, or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, is blatantly unconstitutional because it is the same Dream Act legislation that groups like ALIPAC have successfully defeated in Congress made into policy through Presidential memos.

Socialism is going mainstream, and Millennials are the cause

Image result for Socialism is going mainstream, and Millennials are the cause
Will there be a civil war if the country goes socialist?  There will certainly be some kind of armed resistance, but if the socialist model holds, any legal opposition will be savagely stamped out.  The groundwork is being laid as we speak, as the very concept of free speech – opposition speech – is being more than demonized; it is being suppressed.

A headline in The Hill captures a significant moment in American history: "Four socialist-backed candidates win Pennsylvania legislative primaries."

The Democratic Socialists of America supported all four candidates, who will almost certainly win in November, given their lack of GOP opponents.

The DSA itself thinks socialism's time has come:

The DSA hailed the legislative victories as a huge moment for the socialist movement.

Arielle Cohen, co-chair of the Pittsburgh DSA chapter, told HuffPost that she feels a "monumental shift" after the victories, noting DSA's growing membership since President Trump's election.

"We won on popular demands that were deemed impossible.  We won on health care for all, we won on free education," she said.

"We're turning the state the right shade of red tonight," she added.
