Memphis and the Assault on Our Western Christian Inheritance

The city fathers of Memphis have been engaged in police state tactics and patently illegal actions, taking down the historic statues honoring General Nathan Bedford Forrest and President Jefferson Davis and the bust memorializing Captain Harvey Mathes of the 37thRegiment Tennessee troops.

Despite the Tennessee Heritage Law and the decision of the Tennessee Historical Commission which should have prevented such offenses, the cultural Marxists who dominate the government (and who have re-enslaved and placed the city’s black citizens back on the—this time Marxist—plantation), the city fathers have outrageously ignored and violated the law.

While many establishment Republican leaders in Tennessee, just like their pusillanimous GOP co-cowards in most other states, prefer to look the other way and thus have failed to take the legally dictated measures (for fear of being called “racists”), the national Sons of Confederate Veterans has and is launching several major lawsuits to ensure that the laws of the State of Tennessee, not to mention the wishes of a majority of citizens of that state, be obeyed.

BleachBit creator, ex-FBI experts question 'loss' of Peter Strzok texts

Computer forensics experts are questioning the supposed loss of five months of text messages between two FBI officials who privately disparaged President Trump before helping investigate his campaign’s possible links to Russia.

Some experts say the messages, sent during a turbulent period between Dec. 14, 2016, to May 17, 2017, may not be gone forever.

The missing messages between Peter Strzok, a senior FBI official, and alleged mistress Lisa Page immediately precede special counsel Robert Mueller’s May 17 appointment to investigate Russia's role in the 2016 election. Strzok was taken off Mueller’s team in August after discovery of his messages with Page, who previously left Mueller’s team.

“The loss of these text messages is an unbelievable coincidence – literally,” a House Intelligence Committee source told the Washington Examiner.

More than 50,000 texts exchanged between FBI officials Strzok and Page

More than 50,000 texts were exchanged between two FBI officials who have come under fire for exchanging anti-Trump messages during the 2016 election, Attorney General Jeff Sessions revealed Monday.

The figure surfaced as lawmakers have been pressing for answers after revelations that the FBI “failed to preserve” five months of texts between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

“We will leave no stone unturned to confirm with certainty why these text messages are not now available to be produced and will use every technology available to determine whether the missing messages are recoverable from another source,” Sessions said in a statement provided to Fox News.

“If we are successful, we will update the congressional committees immediately.”

The missing messages from Strzok and Page span a crucial window, between the presidential transition and the launch of Robert Mueller’s Russia probe -- where both officials previously were assigned.

Republicans and the Freedmen’s Role

 https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51xo9plNZcL._SX331_BO1,204,203,200_.jpg

The North’s Republican Party was solely responsible for the postwar Solid South which opposed their Reconstruction efforts, and the former utilized the newly-enfranchised freedmen to establish a Southern wing to maintain their national hegemony. To hold Northern votes the Republicans waved “the bloody shirt”; at the same time they swayed the black voter with warnings of newly-elected Democrats re-enslaving them.  Below, the home State of Carl Schurz was not Missouri, he was a socialist revolutionary from Erftstadt, Germany, elevated by Lincoln to attract German immigrant support for his war.
Bernhard Thuersam, www.Circa1865.com   The Great American Political Divide

Republicans and the Freedmen’s Role

“One of the first [Northerners] to change his mind about the freedmen was Carl Schurz. In 1865, after a Southern tour, he had recommended that the Negro be enfranchised, disregarding the fact that “the [white] masses are strongly opposed to colored suffrage.” But in 1870, when he realized that uneducated Negroes were an easy prey for spoilsmen, Schurz admitted that he had erred.

To his disgust the [Republican] machine politicians in Missouri, his home State, dominated the scene by manipulating ignorant, but enfranchised, Negroes. Henceforth, Schurz steadfastly opposed all legislation designed to aid the colored man. And he assumed that anyone who tried to stir up sectional passions had yielded to the worst elements in the Republican organization.

Although the transition in the thinking of George William Curtis, the editor of Harper’s Weekly, was far different, he eventually reached the same conclusion. Like Schurz, Curtis after the war favored Negro suffrage. He argued that the freedmen had proven their loyalty and deserved the ballot. Admittedly, many of them were ignorant, but so were “great masses of Northern voters. Education,” he wrote, “is a good thing; but it appears some of the staunchest patriots in the land cannot read, and that some of the basest traitors are highly educated.”

During the 1880 campaign Harper’s Weekly vigorously denounced the Solid South. He then said that the Southern question was dead. The federal government could do nothing more to help the Negro. After that, Curtis joined Schurz in resisting all attempts to stir up the race issue.

A third distinct case was Edwin L. Godkin of the Nation. Although he begrudgingly advocated the enfranchisement of the Negro after the Civil War, he never abandoned the conviction that white Anglo-Saxons were inherently superior to “ignorant foreigners” and atavistic colored men. “I do not oppose the admission [to suffrage] of such Negroes as shall prove their fitness,” Godkin wrote in 1865. “. . . What I ask, and meant to ask, was not that the blacks shall be excluded as blacks, but simply that they shall not be admitted to the franchise simply because they are blacks and have been badly treated.”

Godkin recommended the disenfranchisement of all Negroes who could not learn to read or write within two years. Only by developing his intelligence could the colored man distinguish between “statesman and demagogue; between honest public men and knavish public men; between his own real friends and his real enemies.”

Although Godkin originally supported the Radical plan of Reconstruction, which provided for military enforcement of Negro suffrage, he was convinced by 1871 that this adventure had failed.

“We owe it to human nature to say that worse governments have seldom been seen in a civilized country,” the editor admitted. “They have been composed of trashy whites and ignorant blacks.” Control of Southern affairs should be returned to those “who have most influence and knowledge.” The simple truth was that the freedmen were unfit for the role the Republicans desired them to play: “Any party in which the Negro is in the majority, cannot help having its policy, if not shaped, greatly influenced by their political ignorance and incapacity.”

“The attacks would have ended my career had I been a white ethnic Swede"

Police officer Ted Eriksson is treated in Stockholm last summer after he was stabbed in the neck by an asylum seeker

The blast was so powerful that it shook windows a mile away. Ahmad’s first thought was that someone had thrown yet another bomb at the police.

He was right. On Wednesday night an explosive device was hurled at the police station in Rosengard, a troubled area of Malmo, Sweden’s third largest city.

Attacks on the police are increasingly frequent. Rosengard’s force works from a black fortress of reinforced concrete with narrow windows and a 10ft-high electric fence.

 Lies of Omission

It is the responsibility of the people to rectify the excesses of their government. This would be easy, almost automatic, if half of the people of this nation were not dedicated to the destruction of the founding principles. The things that capitalism, freedom and honest representation have allowed to flourish like innovation, invention and wealth have been co-opted to serve the latent welfare state. The efforts of the creators and producers have been hampered by the overwhelming weight of regulations and layers of government bureaucracy. The amount of wealth and innovation that have been stymied by the persistence of the state to loot these efforts to fund their vote-buying schemes is incalculable. They have used the centuries of wealth creation to destroy the source of it.

This is what your government has done and not just elected officials, but more accurately the devious schemes of bureaucrats. They have bankrupted the treasury; viewed the citizen as an enemy; turned their backs on their pleas; imported others to vote against these pleas; and sought to reduce their lives to debt service for their grand schemes.

Lost FBI Texts Could Form Basis for Motion to Dismiss in Trump Team Fight Against Russia Probe

The latest news that five months’ worth of text messages between FBI agent Peter Strzok and DOJ attorney Lisa Page is sure to make supporters of President Donald Trump continue to claim that the Russia investigation is a politically-motivated scheme. More importantly, however, Trump’s lawyers will now be able to do the same.

Strzok has already been outed as anti-Trump, leading to his dismissal from the probe, and his past communications with Page showed a potential Justice Department bias towards Hillary Clinton. The fact that now nearly half a year’s worth of text messages between Strzok and Page during the time leading up to Robert Mueller‘s appointment as Special Counsel weren’t preserved by the Justice Department will surely fuel motions from Team Trump’s lawyers against the investigation.

Well, we have something in common:  neither of us aged gracefully. :)

Actress Suzanne Somers says she’s “happy” about President Trump’s first year in office, even if saying so ends her career in Hollywood.

“I’m happy about him,” she told TMZ in an interview published Monday. “I’m happy that the economy’s doing so much better.”

Somers said it’s “very rare” for someone in Hollywood to compliment Trump.
“And now my career is over,” she laughed.

The actress said in 2014 that the Obama administration was “the most divisive of all the administrations” in her lifetime.

New California Law Will Automatically Register Illegal Aliens to Vote

On April 1, a new law will go into effect in California that will automatically register people to vote through the Department of Motor Vehicles, including aliens who are in the country illegally.

Back on October 10, 2015, California Governor Jerry Brown signed Assembly Bill 1461, the New Motor Voter Act, which automatically registers people to vote when they apply for a new driver's license or new state ID through the DMV. Because this process lacks the safeguards present in traditional voter registration procedures, it could result in illegal aliens voting.

Panola County District Attorney John Champion said Thursday that the second trial in the death of 19-year-old Jessica Chambers has been scheduled for June 11 in Batesville.

Quinton Tellis has pleaded not guilty to capital murder. His trial in October ended in a hung jury and a mistrial.

German city bans new refugees as anti-migrant mood increases

An eastern German city has imposed a temporary ban on new refugees in an effort to stem a number of recent violent incidents.

Cottbus, about 120 kilometres southeast of Berlin, has been rocked by violence from refugees and right-wing extremists since the start of this year.

Earlier this week, Brandenburg state police reported that two male Syrian teenagers were arrested under the suspicion of injuring a German teenager in the face with a knife.

The 16-year-old sustained non life-threatening injuries in what started as an altercation between Syrian and German school acquaintances near a tram station.

After a partial shutdown over the weekend that spilled into Monday, the Senate has passed a bill that would fund the government through Feb. 8 and extend the State Children’s Health Insurance Program for six years. The House is expected to quickly follow and get the bill to President Trump’s desk. In exchange for Democrats agreeing to provide the needed votes to pass a funding bill, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has promised Democrats a vote on immigration in the coming weeks.
