NORTH Korea has indicated it is open to a moratorium on its nuclear and ballistic missile testing, in unusually frank comments from one of the country’s ambassadors.
Tensions have been high between the US and the rogue state since American student Otto Warmbier died as a result of a catastrophic brain injury sustained while he was detained by North Korea.

But, the reclusive nation’s ambassador to India, Kye Chun Yong, has told Indian TV that it is prepared to halt its weapons testing program if the US stops its military exercises in the region.

  1. Sure....the norks are willing to 'talk'. What they want is for the west to GIVE them stuff...like food while they LIE about their activities and go right on developing warheads and missiles. They have ZERO intentions of EVER giving up on WMD's. But they are smart enough to know that the morons in the west will buy their BS and give them what they ask for.

  2. Perhaps they've taken note that Trump has delegated more decisions to Defense Secretary Mattis, who has said re: another adverbial context, "I will kill you all". --Ron W

  3. Reminds me of the GenPatton quote which was in connection with him being told that the U.S. and its allies had to consider "political consequences" re: appeasing Stalin's Russia. Patton reportedly replied something like, "let them worry about the consequence. The only thing I consider about the Russians is to ascertain how much iron and lead I will need to kill them." --Ron W
