Steve King: 'We can't restore our civilization with somebody else's babies'

Conservative lawmaker Steve King, R-Iowa, responded to a tweet about "the Dutch Donald Trump" by asserting that "demographics are our destiny."

"Wilders understands that culture and demographics are our destiny. We can't restore our civilization with somebody else's babies," Rep. Steve King wrote.

    Brock, unless men of vision and experience and worldliness like yourself stand up to the Steve Kings of our nation, we're all going to Hell in a hand basket. It takes all kinds to make a nation not just one kind. You oughta know this given your history. C'mon. Stand up to him!

      He's referring to illegal immigration, not legal where it can take up to 12 years and the sponsor has to be financially responsible for 10 years, which is exactly as it should be.
