Radio talk show host Howard Stern debuts his show on Sirius Satellite Radio January 09, 2006 at the network

Howard Stern applauded President-elect Donald Trump’s policy which would give concealed carry permit holders from every state the right to carry legally in any other state Tuesday on his SiriusXM radio show.

During his campaign, Trump told his supporters he believed in the right to concealed carry of firearms for eligible citizens and talked about supporting a national reciprocity policy for all legal concealed carry holders across the United States.

  1. This is important as a deterrent to crime.

  2. I have some misgivings about this. I would be delighted to exercise my right to concealed carry in every other state, not having to worry about reciprocity matters. But I am concerned that if concealed carry came down to one federal law, then it would only take the defeat of that one federal law to deny all concealed carry rights now granted by the states. Defeating/eradicating one law is much simpler than trying to overturn each individual state's mandate on the issue.

Am I missing something? If so, please advise.

Depends on the way it was worded and I believe GOA et al would make sure it was done correctly.

  3. It is also a turn in the right direction to stop democrat controlled states the repress 2nd amendment rights
