Tom Green of the Alamance County Rangers 11:15 to 12:15:

Hands on training session on compass and map work using the USGS map 7.5 minute quad map Wayah Bald referenced in the serialized story "The Patrol" by Dan Morgan. The objective is to learn how to locate UTM positions on a map using appropriate map-tools and navigating between them by compass bearings.  Along with this will be quick demo on pace counter beads with a measured 100 meter section to check your pace count.  This is the bare minimum basics to learn before moving on to Land Navigation Training.

*FM transmitter to broadcast podcasts from Forward Observer and Radio Free Redoubt  to demonstrate low power FM as clandestine radio communication. Pirate box wireless router serving up pictures, documents and videos. Handheld scanner to set up as demo and  100 meter walking line for pace counting down driveway.

How to use an SDR to quickly find locally active frequencies of interest, put into a scanner, and collect/monitor those signal activities.  Will have a large screen TV to view the SDR signals and a PowerPoint presentation on collecting and reporting monitoring results for later analysis.  All presented in the format of an imaginary mission where you have a reason to be looking for and reporting signal activity.

Once the attendees have had a chance to hands on with land nav and scanning, they'll get a live fire of transmitting directionally, from an OP to another OP we will set up, and a QRP NVIS demo. This should tie everything together, and the attendees will get a chance to do the stuff they've been reading about.

Did Stonehenge began life as a Welsh monument to the dead?

Via Frank

Stonehenge Quarries where the original stones were cut
Smaller bluestones in Stonehenge were                   Quarries where the original stones
probably part of an earlier Welsh tomb                     were cut

Stonehenge began life as an impressive Welsh tomb which was dismantled and shipped to Wiltshire, archaeologists now suspect.

Experts have known for some time that the smaller bluestones of the 5000-year-old Neolithic monument were brought 140 miles from the Preseli Mountains in Wales.

The source of the Stonehenge stomes was first determined in the early 1920s by H.H. Thomas, an officer with the Geological Survey of England and Wales.

He determined that the so-called ‘spotted dolerites’ matched a small number of outcrops in the Mynydd Preseli district in south-west Wales.

If War Must Come, I Prefer To Be With My Own People

In 1866, war governor of North Carolina Zebulon B. Vance addressed the Andrew Post, No. 15 of the Grand Army of the Republic and described his patriotic actions in April 1861. A prewar Unionist, Vance instructed the audience that Lincoln and his party offered no reasonable compromise or peaceful alternatives to the South peacefully withdrawing and seeking a more perfect Union.
Bernhard Thuersam, www.Circa1865.com   The Great American Political Divide

“. . . [T]he people of North Carolina, more perhaps than those of any of the eleven seceding States, were devoted to the Union. They had always regarded it with sincerest reverence and affection, and they left it slowly and with sorrow. They were actuated by an honest conviction . . . that their constitutional rights were endangered, not be the mere election of Mr. Lincoln, as others did, but by the course which subsequent events were compelled to take in consequence of the ideas which were behind him.

The Union men of the State, of whom I was one, whatever may have been their doubts of the propriety of secession, were unanimous in the opinion that it was neither right nor safe to permit the general government to coerce a State. But when Fort Sumter was fired upon, immediately followed by Mr. Lincoln’s call for “volunteers to suppress the insurrection,” the whole situation was changed instantly.

The Union men had every prop knocked from under them, and by stress of their own position were plunged into a secession movement. I immediately, with altered voice and manner, called upon the assembled multitude to volunteer, not to fight against but for South Carolina. I said, if war must come I prefer to be with my own people. If we had to shed blood, I preferred to shed Northern rather than Southern blood.

If we had to slay, I had rather slay strangers than my own kindred and neighbors; and that it was better, whether right or wrong, that communities and States should go together and face the horrors of war in a body — sharing a common fate, rather than endure the unspeakable calamities of internecine strife.

To those at all acquainted with the atrocities which have been inflicted upon the divided communities of Missouri, Kentucky and Tennessee, the humanity of my action will be apparent. I went and shared the fate of the people of my native State, having first done all I could to preserve the peace and secure the unanimity of the people to avert, as much as possible, the calamities of war.

I do not regret that course. I do not believe there is an honorable man within my hearing to-night who, under the same circumstances, would not have done as I did . . .”

Vandals and Goths at Chapel Hill

 https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e3/Carpetbagger.jpg

The University of North Carolina survived the war but found itself in desperate condition when Northern carpetbaggers and local scalawags assumed control of State government in 1868. Historian Hugh Talmage Lefler wrote: “Lack of public confidence, financial support, and students closed the University in 1870. A student expressed it graphically when he wrote of a classroom blackboard: “Today this University busted and went to hell.” The University was reopened in 1875 after North Carolinians regained political control of their State, but some might argue today that the carpetbaggers and scalawags remain at Chapel Hill.
Bernhard Thuersam, www.Circa1865.com   The Great American Political Divide

Vandals and Goths at Chapel Hill

“Of the seventy-eight new Trustees of the University, only four had been members of the former Board, and they were men who had seldom attended meetings of the Trustees and really cared very little about the fate of the University. At the meeting of the new Board in Raleigh, in June 1868, several names were brought forward for the presidency.

After several days of travail the Board brought forth Mr. Solomon Pool, a native of Elizabeth City, North Carolina . . . To be sure, he had no “established reputation” for scholarship, though he was a man of some ability. Immediately after the close of “The War” in 1866, Mr. Pool had resigned his position as Tutor in the University to take a job as a Deputy Appraiser in the Revenue Service of the hated Reconstruction Government, allying himself with the Republican party.

The word “opportunist” had not been invented, but “traitor,” “renegade,” and “apostate” were freely hurled at his complacent head. Mr. Joseph [Engelhard], editor of the Wilmington Journal, said in one issue of his paper that the University was “infested with pismires” (termites?) and the very next week he wrote that it was “presided over by nincompoops.”

The Board of Trustees had its own troubles in forming a new faculty. Mr. S.[S]. Ashley, a Massachusetts Yankee, who was Superintendent of Public Education, placed a relative, James A. Martling, in the “Chair of Belles Lettres,” whatever that means. The Martling family occupied the house recently made vacant by my grandfather’s death, and June Spencer and I, living next door, watched with scornful eyes the daughters of the family . . . with their village beaux on the piazza or strolling in the moonlight, but there was no communication between us.

George Dickson, Professor of Agriculture, was a Friend from Philadelphia who came South as a missionary to the Negroes. He brought Bibles, Testaments, and hymn books from the good Quakers of his city, a fine and generous gesture – if only the recipients had been able to read. Friend Dickson went to England to inquire into some new ideas in agriculture for the benefit of the South. He never came back.

During the first year of the Reconstruction Administration there were thirty-five students in attendance . . . just little bare-foot boys from the village and the adjoining country, with their home-made breeches held up by a string across one shoulder, and their dinner in a little tin bucket. Now and then a small black face appeared among them. None of them knew what it was all about. It was just a grand frolic for them to be “goin’ to college.”

Nor were the pupils altogether appreciative of their advantages. We find one A.J. Banks haled before the faculty for non-attendance upon his classes. His excuse was that he did not want to study Greek, nor did he want to stay in college with “them Yanks.”

The grim record shows that the Archives of the Literary Societies were broken into and their contents scattered. A box of Siamese curios presented to the University by the Reverend Daniel McGilvary, a Presbyterian missionary to Siam, was broken, and objects of rare beauty and great value stolen or destroyed. Scientific apparatus was smashed into bits, and great damage was done to the buildings and libraries of the University . . . owls and bats flew in the broken windows of the buildings, the campus was a jungle of weeds, cattle and hogs roamed the unlighted streets at night.

From a charming, dignified home of cultured people, who enjoyed a gracious society, Chapel Hill had become a desolate, silent wilderness. Even the strangers who composed the puppet faculty disliked each other, the village, the State, and the institution they were expected to serve.”

reject the UN2

In the wake of the wonderful decision by the people of the United Kingdom to #Brexit, some conservatives in Congress have decided to seize the moment and push for an #Amexit (American Exit) from the United Nations! It’s an idea that conservatives have long supported and may now grab the national imagination, as Americans seek new ways to disconnect themselves from the corrupt establishment that runs our political world.

Bill sponsors Thomas Massie (R-KY), Mike Rogers (R-MI), Tim Huelskamp (R-KS), Jeff Duncan (R-SC), Lynn Westmoreland (R-GA), and Ted Yoho (R-FL) recently released the text of their bill hoping to convince Americans to embrace Independence and leave the U.N.

Islamic State claims killing Coptic priest in Egypt

The Islamic State claimed responsibility for shooting to death a Coptic priest in Egypt Thursday.

Father Raphael Musa, the priest of St. George Church in El-Arish in the northern Sinai was returning from mass Thursday when he was shot in the head multiple times by an unknown assailant, according to local police.

Shortly thereafter, ISIS claimed responsibility for the killing in an online post accusing Musa of “waging war against Islam.”

DeRay McKesson was a lead full-time paid protester in Ferguson, Missouri during the riots and looting. He later was became a lead activist in Baltimore during the Freddie Gray riots.

DeRay was just awarded a job with the Baltimore school district in human resources making $165,000 a year.

For the record – DeRay McKesson and the other Ferguson and Baltimore protest leaders were trained in Soros-funded agitation.

The Ferguson protests and riots were never a grassroots movement.

The mob action was a carefully coordinated Soros-funded astroturf movement bent on destruction.

CIA Director John Brennan said Britain’s vote to leave is the biggest challenge facing the European Union in recent years, prioritizing consequences of the referendum vote over the threat of terror posed by the Islamic State as refugees from the Middle East continue to stream into the continent.

“Of all the crises the EU has faced in recent years, the UK vote to leave may well be it’s greatest challenge,” Brennan said during opening remarks at the Council on Foreign Relations Wednesday, citing the unprecedented uncertainty facing the union and increasing difficulty of decision making and consensus building.

“Brexit is pushing the EU into a period of introspection that will pervade virtually everything the EU does in the coming weeks months and even years ahead,” he said.

Jewish Decline and the Rise of China: In the US

 http://www.unzcloud.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/MeritocracyCover-Front-194x300.jpg

Virtually the only students in college libraries Friday nights are Asians.   It's not just being smart, but working hard also.

********************************

Years ago, when I was tech writer for weird magazines such as Signal and for other more-normal techish pubs, Jews littered the intellectual landscape. They were all over high-end research, such as Bell Labs. The big names were often Jewish, Einstein, von Neumann, Feynman, Gell-Mann, Minsky.

The staff list for the Manhattan Project read like a Yeshiva yearbook. The same happened in the arts.

Bernstein, Landowska, Rubinstein, Stoppard (“Maidens in search of Godhead…and vice versa.”)
Jews were smart, most people figured, not necessarily liking it.  I wondered why without great interest. Genetic determinists of course cooked up evolutionary explanations involving undiscovered genes acted upon by unquantifiable selective pressures to produce assumed results not correlatable with the pressures. Business as usual.

Later I began to notice without thinking about it that the Jewish names were growing thin on the ground. These were not systematic observations. But Asian names were becoming prominent almost everywhere. The Feinsteins seemed to be in recession, if only anecdotally.

Something odd was happening, I barely noticed.

Then Ron Unz published The Myth of American Meritocracy, documenting a stunning turnaround of which I had been only vaguely aware. The book deals substantially with corruption in admissions to Ivy schools, with some (I think) good ideas for reform. It also charts the sharp decline in Jewish achievement and the meteoric rise of the Asians. (Actually I think falling is more what meteors do, but cliches are cliches.)

Law Enforcement Sources: Gun Used in Paris Terrorist Attacks Came from Phoenix (Gunwalker)

Via Billy

One of the guns used in the November 13, 2015 Paris terrorist attacks came from Phoenix, Arizona where the Obama administration allowed criminals to buy thousands of weapons illegally in a deadly and futile “gun-walking” operation known as “Fast and Furious.”

A Report of Investigation (ROI) filed by a case agent in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) tracked the gun used in the Paris attacks to a Phoenix gun owner who sold it illegally, “off book,” Judicial Watch’s law enforcement sources confirm. Federal agents tracing the firearm also found the Phoenix gun owner to be in possession of an unregistered fully automatic weapon, according to law enforcement officials with firsthand knowledge of the investigation.

The tables have turned in this week’s White House Watch. After trailing Hillary Clinton by five points for the prior two weeks, Donald Trump has now taken a four-point lead.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds Trump with 43% of the vote, while Clinton earns 39%. Twelve percent (12%) still like another candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided.

Clash of Civilizations

Via Ryan

“Some Westerners […] have argued that the West does not have problems with Islam but only with violent Islamist extremists. Fourteen hundred years of history demonstrate otherwise.”
―Samuel P. Huntington, The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order
“In the emerging world of ethnic conflict and civilizational clash, Western belief in the universality of Western culture suffers three problems: it is false; it is immoral; and it is dangerous.”

“Islam's borders are bloody and so are its innards. The fundamental problem for the West is not Islamic fundamentalism. It is Islam, a different civilisation whose people are convinced of the superiority of their culture and are obsessed with the inferiority of their power.”

“Every civilization sees itself as the center of the world and writes its history as the central drama of human history.”
We westerners should do it and not offer any apologies for trying to do so.
A National International is emerging that's against collectivist neo-liberal experiments like the EU and North American Union, and rejecting its mass-migration and cultural relativism. We believe there is something inherently unique and distinctive about our civilization, and certainly cultures, peoples and races are inherently incompatible with it. We shouldn't offer any apologies for desiring to preserve our cultures. The Chinese, Japanese and Koreans for all practical purposes embrace integral nationalism and don't offer any damned apologies for doing so. It's innate and natural.

The Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi put it aptly, post-9/11:
We must be aware of the superiority of our civilization, a system that has guaranteed well-being, respect for human rights and — in contrast with Islamic countries — respect for religious and political rights, a system that has as its value understanding of diversity and tolerance. . . The West will continue to conquer peoples, even if it means a confrontation with another civilization, Islam, firmly entrenched where it was 1,400 years ago.

My Niece, Antonia's Business

No Need for Flower Girls

There will be no need today
for customs of the bereaved,
no need for lovely flower girls

to dress in angelic white,
or carry comforting bouquets.
There will be no need to walk

across fields for flowers
growing wild, perchance like
ones growing in the battlefield

whereupon they say he fell.
Carolina Lilies bow solemnly
as Featherbells slowly knell,

today they will remain where
Snow on the Mountain gently nod,
and Mourning Doves coo and cry out.

There will be no need for them
to arch a slow processional way,
his casket will not be coming by.

NC: Check out Chipmunk Road This Summer

Map of Heintooga Ridge Rd, North Carolina

Chipmunk Road. That’s what I call it.  If you are one of the lucky adventurers to traverse Heintooga Ridge Road within the Great Smoky Mountains, you might agree with my name for the road!

Chipmunks are everywhere, emerging from and disappearing into expansive burrows, complete with chambers and tunnels, built into the roadbed itself.

How could it be?

First of all, if you are on a waterfall hunt or prefer fast drives along paved backroads, don’t take this route.  Chipmunk Road is for folks who appreciate driving slower than they can walk in order to take in all that nature has to offer from the comfort and safety of their vehicle.  So, open the car windows or put the top down, shift into the lowest gear, and enjoy the drive at 5 - 10 mph—max!  Without the windows down, most of the sounds, smells, and sights are missed.  Don’t worry about oncoming traffic — it is a 13-mile, one-way, unimproved, backcountry road, Subaru and dog approved.  Silence is mandatory, so consider leaving the kids and talkative friends and relatives at home.

Even during the height of tourist season, several days may go by without wildlife being disturbed at all except by occasional hikers making connections to Cataloochee and Mount Sterling.  On the average only a few drivers a day choose this route, and it is seasonally closed from November to late May.

Wikipedia Book Burning by Philip Leigh

 http://www.abbevilleinstitute.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/henry-recon.jpg

Editor’s note: Mr. Leigh has published a new book titled The Confederacy at Flood Tide.  A sample chapter is available here.

I once attempted to correct a Wikipedia article by citing Robert Selph Henry’s 1938 The Story of Reconstruction. The change was automatically rejected by software explaining the book was an unacceptable source. Next, I changed the article’s mistake by citing Eric Foner’s Reconstruction: The Unfinished Revolution, which was published fifty years later.  Not surprisingly, it was accepted.

Born in 1889, Henry grew up in Nashville. His parents lived through Reconstruction. He graduated from Vanderbilt in 1911 where his professors knew people who had lived through the Civil War and Reconstruction. Henry added graduate work at Queens College in Cambridge. He was a lawyer until becoming a leading railroad industry executive. He wrote at least four American history books and a similar number on other topics.Three are still in print.

Modern critics accuse Henry of being ill informed about Reconstruction’s impact on African Americans. Nonetheless, his sources include a good representation of what was available in the 1930s including:

It’s Time for the Elites to Rise Up Against the Ignorant Masses

Via Ryan "Look at these headlines in Foreign Policy. They're almost absurd coming from this supposedly level-headed rational intelligentsia for the Western elite and diplomatic corps. One advocates the secession of London from the UK to Europe, which will NEVER happen nor should it. The other says the elites need to rise up against the ignorant masses. It seems to parallel with the reality of how aloof Establishment Republican elites are, so called cuckservatives, in their denunciation of Trump, which is best exemplified by George Will and Irving Kristol who would seemingly rather have Hillary Clinton in the White House."

No, it’s Time for the Elites to be tarred and feathered for starters

I was born in 1954, and until now I would have said that the late 1960s was the greatest period of political convulsion I have lived through. Yet for all that the Vietnam War and the civil rights struggle changed American culture and reshaped political parties, in retrospect those wild storms look like the normal oscillations of a relatively stable political system. The present moment is different. Today’s citizen revolt — in the United States, Britain, and Europe — may upend politics as nothing else has in my lifetime. (That is the plan, big boy.)

*If we knew he wasn't lying, we'd think he was an idiot.

Secretary Of State John Kerry said ISIS had begun targeting airports as *an act of despair in the face of defeat, hours after the attack that left up to 50 dead in Istanbul, Turkey.

No one immediately claimed responsibility for the shootings and bombings at Ataturk airport but Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said all initial indications pointed to ISIS.

Kerry spoke about the attack Tuesday evening while at the Aspen Ideas Festival in Colorado, referring to ISIS as Daesh, CBS News reported.

'It has been more than one year since Daesh ISIS has actually launched a full scale military offensive, and that's because our coalition is moving relentlessly on every front,' he said.

More Secession Theology: Thomas Smyth of Charleston

 smyth

“The parties in this conflict are not merely Atheists, Socialists, Communists, Red Republicans, Jacobins on the one side, and the friends of order and regulated freedom on the other. In one word, the world is a battle-ground, Christianity and atheism the combatants, and the progress of humanity the stake.”
-- James Henley Thornwell

*********************************

Lately there has been mention of Dr. Thomas Smyth in two Abbeville Institute blog and review posts, namely, “The Theology of Secession” by M. E. Bradford, and “What Lincoln’s Election Meant to the South” by Bradley J. Birzer. Having written about this Charleston clergyman in an upcoming book, I thought our readers might be interested in learning a little more about him.

Thomas Smyth (1808-1873), a native of Ireland, came to America as a young man and attended Princeton Theological Seminary. In 1831 he accepted a call from Second Presbyterian Church in Charleston, South Carolina, where he would serve as pastor for several decades. Upon his arrival in the city he was befriended by James Adger, a wealthy Charleston businessman and a fellow native of Belfast. Smyth soon developed an attachment to Adger’s daughter Margaret and married her in 1832.

The Adgers were a devout family, and when Smyth’s brother-in-law James B. Adger returned to Charleston from foreign mission work in 1847, he dedicated his life to “the religious instruction of the negroes in Charleston.” Lamenting an inadequacy in “church accommodations” for them, as well as “a want of suitable instruction,” Adger, Dr. Smyth, and others advocated the establishment of a “separate colored church.” The Episcopalians had already had organized Calvary Church in Charleston for this purpose, and though it initially met with opposition by some of the white citizens, the congregation (which included white members) flourished.

Multiculturalism: A Failed Concept By Walter E. Williams

Via Billy

German Chancellor Angela Merkel declared that multiculturalism has “utterly failed,” adding that it was an illusion to think Germans and foreign workers could “live happily side by side.” The failure of multiculturalism is also seen in Denmark, Sweden, the United Kingdom, France, Belgium and other European countries. Immigrants coming from Africa and the Middle East refuse to assimilate and instead seek to import the failed cultures they fled.

Leftist diversity advocates and multiculturalists are right to argue that people of all races, religions and cultures should be equal in the eyes of the law. But their argument borders on idiocy when they argue that one set of cultural values cannot be judged superior to another and that to do so is Eurocentrism.

That’s unbridled nonsense.

A super-PAC backing Hillary Clinton has accepted $200,000 in donations from a company holding multiple contracts with the federal government — despite a ban on such contributions.

According to a review of contributions by The Hill, Boston-based Suffolk Construction made two contributions of $100,000 to Priorities USA, which is backing the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.

At the time it made the contributions, Suffolk held multiple contracts worth $976,560 with the Department of Defense for maintenance and construction projects at a Naval base in Newport, R.I., and the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, N.Y., according to the government website USASpending.gov.

Police Interrogate Third Grader For Brownie Comment at School Party

Via Billy

A third grader had made a comment about the brownies being served to the class. After another student exclaimed that the remark was "racist," the school called the Collingswood Police Department, according to the mother of the boy who made the comment.

The police officer spoke to the student, who is 9, said the boy's mother, Stacy dos Santos, and local authorities.

Dos Santos said that the school overreacted and that her son made a comment about snacks, not skin color.

"He said they were talking about brownies. . . . Who exactly did he offend?" dos Santos said.

The boy's father was contacted by Collingswood police later in the day. Police said the incident had been referred to the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency. The student stayed home for his last day of third grade

Marines, Never Deployed, Changed Clothes 4 Times During Benghazi Attack

................... one commander told the committee that as they were readying themselves to deploy they kept having to change in and out of their uniforms four times.
They ended up not deploying at all. Four Americans were murdered in a coordinated terrorist attack that had nothing to do with any stupid YouTube video, but at least the Obama administration didn’t have to deal with an embarrassing fashion faux pas.

It’s not the Marines’ fault, of course. I’m sure they wanted to go save our people. They actually care about America and Americans more than their own skins, unlike the people giving them their orders.

Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and everyone else who lied about Benghazi have disgraced themselves every step of the way.

BREXIT and Southern Nationalism

Via Jeffery

BREXIT’s triumph fans the flames of secession
BREXIT triumphed at the polls.

The fact that the United Kingdom has voted to peacefully secede from the European Union, which brings with it the possibility that Scotland might hold a second vote on seceding from the UK, has changed overnight the political landscape of secessionist movements all over the world.

It just so happened that the result of the BREXIT vote came in late at night on the eve of the 2016 League of the South National Conference. I’ve been wrapped up for days now and haven’t had the chance to fully digest the news. The BREXIT vote couldn’t have come at a better time in light of the renewed debate we have been having over violence and vanguardists. After this, it is safe to say that for now the mainstreamers, or “the moderates” as we are derisively called, have decisively won the argument.

******************************

  • Brexit is a true black swan.  Nobody in the mainstream, including the Leave camp, saw it coming.  Even now, based on the analysis being written, few people understand why it won.  Why did it win?  The cosmopolitan, financialized elites saw their incomes grow with globalization, but the deals they struck to "earn" those gains required throwing the bottom 60-70% of the country under the economic bus.  In fact, nearly all of the fast rise out of poverty seen globally was achieved by economically damaging the working populations of the developed world (particularly in the US and the UK).  That lopsided deal is a bomb of anger that has been growing for years.  A bomb that is now going off in the US and the UK.  Strangely, nobody in the establishment is willing to do what is necessary to defuse this bomb.  This means it will get much worse before it gets better.
  • The response to Brexit will damage nation-state legitimacy.  Efforts to ignore the vote, delay the effects of the vote, and water down the effects of the vote will achieve only one thing:  it will show that the remote technocrats have more legitimacy than the vestiges of democracy that are left.

New Documents Suggest IRS’s Lerner Likely Broke the Law

Recently obtained documents raise new questions about Lois Lerner’s role in sending confidential tax returns to the Justice Department. It is likely the largest unauthorized disclosure of tax-return information in history: the transfer of some 1.25 million pages of confidential tax returns from the IRS to the Department of Justice in October of 2010. And it was almost certainly illegal.

Revenge Of The Rubes——Why They Days Of The Financial Elite’s Rule Are Numbered

Talk about not waiting for the body to get cold. The establishment oracles are out in force today proclaiming that Brexit has already been cancelled. Apparently, like in the case of the first negative vote on TARP, two days of currency and stock market turmoil have taught the rubes who voted for it the errors of their ways.

The argument is that the unwashed masses outside of Greater London have shot themselves in the foot economically based on some atavistic fears of immigrants and cultural globalization.

Racism even. But right soon they will demanding a second referendum in order to get back on the EU’s purported economic gravy train.

Thus, Gideon Rachman, one of the Financial Times’ numerous globalist scolds, professed that his depression about the Brexit vote has already given way to a worldly vision of relief:

The notion that Donald Trump could benefit from the same forces that gave the Leave proponents a majority in Britain should sound an alarm for the Democratic Party in the United States. Millions of American voters, like the Leave supporters, are understandably angry and frustrated by the economic forces that are destroying the middle class.

EU to Britain: No access to single market without migration

European Union leaders spelled out stark conditions for a new relationship with a departing Britain on Wednesday, warning that if British business wants to keep access to Europe's single market, the country must accept European workers, too.

The leaders produced no clear rehaul for their shaken union after an unusual and emotionally charged summit, but agreed they must make it more relevant to citizens and keep it from disintegrating after Britain's unprecedented vote to leave. The 27 remaining presidents, chancellors and prime ministers said they're "absolutely determined to remain united," EU Council President Donald Tusk said.

He will not be laid to rest in

He will not be coming home

who lie in lost and lonely graves.
