Please Pray For Dixie

This is the great, great, great granddaughter of Needham Leach, Aunt Angela, holding my daughter Dixie, the namesake of Dixie Washington Leach. Great Aunt Dixie also had another namesake who recently died in Pittsboro, Angela's aunt. Angela's Aunt Dixie, in turn, has a namesake, her Cousin Dixie, in Pittsboro.

  7. Praying for Dixie. Praying for you, also. I know that what affects our children affects us as parents as well.

A wise preacher once said, "We have done nothing until we have first prayed."

Keeping you all before the Lord.

  10. Our family is lifting up Dixie before our Lord in prayer, sir; and we will continue until you let us know otherwise. Please let me know if there is any other way we can be of assistance.

  13. My wife and I have Dixie and your family in our prayers. My daughter is about the same age, and the years they are now experiencing can be difficult for families, glad to hear she is fine. We will keep praying for the path that your wisdom and the Lord's hand selects. Trust in Him and in your decisions.

  15. Maybe I'm not seeing something but it appears to me that, indeed, all is well with those pictured. But for all of those pictured and for Dixie I will pray, from way up north where too few prayers for beautiful old cultures originate.

I have prayed for Dixie, that pretty girl pictured there.

But more than that, I have prayed for all who have worn the name, all who have earned the moniker, all who have thought the thought and walked the walk.

Dixie can be an eternal thing and it should be. But prayers and more are needed.

  29. I lost a son to drugs and the 'Cool' BS, now he's in jail again, waiting to go to Prison. I know how fast things can go to shit. I didn't really think it would be so, but you never know anymore.
