They damn well better stall any appointment until the new president is elected and boy what a huge reason to elect a non-commie.

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia has been found dead at a luxury resort in west Texas, news outlets are reporting. The Justice apparently died of natural causes.

According to a report, Scalia, 79, arrived at the ranch on Friday and attended a private party with about 40 people, the San Antonio Express News reported. Scalia did not show up for a scheduled breakfast. Staff members of the resort went to find the justice and instead found his body.

U.S. District Judge Fred Biery told the San Antonio newspaper he was among those notified about Scalia’s death. “I was told it was this morning,” Biery said of Scalia’s death. “It happened on a ranch out near Marfa. As far as the details, I think it’s pretty vague right now as to how,” he told the Express-News. “My reaction is it’s really unfortunate with any death. And now, politically, in the presidential cycle we’re in my educated guess is nothing will happen before the next president is elected.”

  1. How convenient right after the Supremes shot down Obozo and his coal closures. Just when we thought it could not get any worse for conservatives.

  2. Convenient timing, if the stupid party wants to keep the senate, they'd better not give ovomit a justice until we have a new president!!!

  5. The longestScotus confirmation -from nomination to resolution was Louis Brandeis, at 125 days. Obama has 342 days left in office.

The Senate will roll over like a canoe full of fat guys.

  6. Reminds me of Congressman Louis McFadden who c/o not feeling
well and then died. He was poisoned.
Judge Scalia also c/o of not feeling well and retired
to his room. He was found unresponsive which could mean
    he was still alive.
With the sophisticated poisons of today, who knows.
I know this is a plus for Ovomit and a minus for the country. And, we continue to the halls of communism.

  7. It is entirely plausible that Scalia was murdered to facilitate the shift of the court from conservative to communist. And unless an ME knows EXACTLY what to look for
such a murder committed by a talented hit squad will look
natural. One major 'tell' will be what happens to his body.
If it's spirited back to Mordor on the Potomac immediately and then cremated you can be fairly sure they were covering tracks. If the local .gov in Texas is smart and honest they will insist on handling the PM and investigation WITHOUT the feds being involved. This would be a good case for the Rangers to take as they tend to be bulldogs about getting answers.

    1. It appears there was no foul play apparent.

How in the world could someone say that almost immediately? I certainly wouldn't.

  8. When the government does it, it's not foul play, it's fair game.

    1. I'd guess it was natural, but why not perform an autopsy?
