  2. Why does this remind me of Messin with Sasquatch. I keep waiting for the robot to take the hockey stick from the guy and cross check him into the county.

  3. Yeah - saw this. They've come a long way in a couple years, though this isn't likely what they're working on currently, but that this is the public face of the unit.
    They also have videos of it vacuuming, and picking up various items as well as being shoved to the ground to then have it get back up, as depicted in this vid.
    Seems as though it can cue off of QR Codes as in some videos, you can see them posted on locations in the robot's path.

    This version doesn't appear to be shielded against EMP, smalls arms, or physical interference to the electronics, though since the majority of BD's funding is from DARPA and other Mil.Spec agencies/foundations, you can surely bet with confidence, that there's a combat-focused version that they won't be releasing video of any time soon...
