  1. The Hammond's served their time. Another case of Dbl. Jeopardy.
A good man and a good speech. The fed. gov owns no land
but the 10 miles sq. in DC. The rest of the land they are
squatting on is on loan. The fed gov truly believes all
the land belongs to them and not the people. I remember in
the desert in California, people built homes and had lived
there for numerous yrs. All of a sudden one day, they were
ordered to leave and the homes to be torn down. No body
owned this land. Don't know what ever happened as many
went to court. I am sure the fed gov was claiming the land.
Land thieves like the barons of old.

Worst as they say they're doing it for the good of the citizens.

  2. Well, it wasn't for the good of the citizens in this case.
These people built their homes with their own two hands.
Location was miles and miles from any city. Some of the
homes were a marvel - artistic. I shall never forget the
    story nor the theft.
Change of subject but do you know that Germany never
    surrendered? Just like the Confederacy.

    1. I believe Admiral Dönitz did. A man who should have been vindicated of his supposed "war crimes."

  3. Can't find the article right now but the article said
Germany did not surrender d/t refusing to sign unconditional
surrender. You might be right about Donitz as there was
some confusion on his part about signing.
