Lee Circle And Other New Orleans Monuments Will Officially Be Removed, Federal Judge Rules

Via Bill "Just goes to show that the U.S. fedrul gestapo judges can all be bought off! When has a U.S. fedrul gestapo judge ever ruled in our favor? They are all part and parcel of Reconstruction III!! We can appeal this to the foot of the cross and we will still be overruled! It's way past time for civil dis-obedience!"

BREAKING: Lee Circle And Other New Orleans Monuments Will Officially Be Removed, Federal Judge Rules

Update: Mayor Mitch Landrieu says he is “pleased” with the ruling and does not give a time frame of exactly when the monuments will be removed, according to the Advocate’s Jeff Adelson. Landrieu went on to say that the monuments would be stored in a city-owned facility until a permanent place, most-likely a privately-owned park, was chosen for their relocation.

Four of New Orleans’ historical monuments will officially be removed after US District Judge Carl Barbier denied to issue an injunction that would have entirely prevented Mayor Mitch Landrieu from taking the monuments down.

Following the New Orleans City Council vote, in which only one City Councilmember voted against removal, the city was hit with a federal lawsuit by preservationist groups.

  1. I guess the death threats, the threats of business's breaking contracts, and the torched Lambo were all somebody's imagination? :)

Some people just don't have any common sense, do they.

  2. Ironic how the tactics of the Taliban/ISIS/Islamic terrorists and the progressive toads in our country are stunningly similar. Removing/destroying anything of cultural or historic value that they happen to disagree with.
Disgusted with this ruling from north of the Mason Dixon line!

    1. Agree, for one group it is ok, the other not....how is it we have Islamic terrorists killing people left and right and then one lone nut kills some people in SC and afterwards all Confederate monuments have to come down. We're easy pickings?

  4. Retards.....here we are, 1 Federal Judge makes a decision, that's it game over....that is most certainly BS. Not what our founding fathers envisioned for our country, totally opposite.

  5. Hi Brock,
    "Just for the Record!!"
CONFEDERATE Soldiers, Sailors and Marines that fought in the Civil War were made "U.S. Veterans" by an act of Congress in 1957, U.S. Public Law 85-425. sec 410 approved 23MAY1958.

This made "ALL" "CONFEDERATE" Army, Navy and Marine Veterans "EQUAL" to U.S. Veterans. Additionally, under U.S. Public Law 810, approved by the 17th Congress on 26FEB1929, The War Dept. was directed to erect "Headstones" and Recognize "CONFEDERATE Grave sites as U.S. War Grave sites!!"

Just for the Record, the last CONFEDERATE Veteran died in 1958. So, in essence when you "REMOVE" a "CONFEDERATE" Statue, Monument or Headstone "YOU" are in fact removing a Statue, Monument or headstone "OF A U.S. VETERAN!!"
