For every flag they remove, a thousand more will rise to take its place.

Va Flaggers announce Memorial Highway Flag Raising in Danville, VA!

DANVILLE MEMORIAL HIGHWAY BATTLE FLAG #1 RAISING TOMORROW, THURSDAY, AUGUST 6th!

Almost as soon as the news broke that Danville City Council had scheduled a vote on an ordinance to remove the Third National Flag from the memorial on the grounds at Sutherlin Station, the Va Flaggers were contacted by Danville residents eager to offer their land for Roadside Battle Flag Memorials. We are thrilled to announce that we have several projects underway in Danville, and will be raising the FIRST Danville Memorial Highway Battle Flag THIS THURSDAY August 6th, just prior to the City Council meeting! The flag will be installed on private property, leased by the Virginia Flaggers, on Highway 58, in a very central and highly visible location.

We invite everyone to make plans to be in Danville TOMORROW, Thursday, August 6th at 5:00 p.m and be our guest for the brief flag raising ceremony, and then make our way as a group to the City Council meeting just a few blocks away to PACK THE COURTROOM and let our voices, and that of our Confederate ancestors, be heard!

If you cannot attend, please take a moment of your time Thursday to contact City Council and urge them to vote AGAINST the proposed flag ban ordinance. Contact information here:  http://www.danville-va.gov/386/Members-of-the-Council

Memorial is located at the intersection of W. Main Street and Highway 58, Danville, VA 24541

For every flag they remove, a thousand more will rise to take its place...

  1. I'm too chicken to fly the flag here in the mass murder capitol of America so I'll just contribute to MY Virginia Flaggers. Wish I could be in Danville VA today. A lovely city. It'd make a good capitol of the Free South.

I shall also send two admission fees for the PATCON, having yet had no applications to accompany me.

Aren't people weird? I'd think my few friends and more family would call to see if I'm paying a grand a day. But none yet. A dead lion has more friends than I. Heh..

Not here, Sir and you need to come and stay! If none volunteer, do you have to have a companion or not? If so, we will see if anyone is coming from somewhere near there.

  2. The family would be very unhappy if I were to go alone. I'm looking. There's plenty of time.
