Liberals Target the South Because It Has Always Been Christian

Having had the opportunity to travel to several vacation spots as a child, I had the privilege of meeting people from different regions.  Myrtle Beach, South Carolina was my second home in the summer, and we would vacation in Florida at least once a year until I was 11 or 12.  Since I have never been one to meet a stranger, I had many opportunities to meet people from Ohio, New York, Maryland, Quebec and several other places.

I found it funny the perception of Southerners that these people brought with them.

Because you are a Southerner, you do not wear shoes, don't have healthy teeth, can't read, are a racist, love NASCAR, hate the Union, and a host of other stereotypes.  This was funny because none of those things are true of me and besides the NASCAR, they are not true of most of the people I know.

I say all this because thirty years later, it is no longer funny when these stereotypes are plastered on you and the people you love.

  1. This is true along with homo's, federal classrooms , Confederate flag, the economy,
diversity, white genocide, Southern Heritage ( I don't think the North has any ),
vaccines, food, air, water, the word husband or wife. Gee, we need to kick some ass.
There are more Christians in the South. We use to say there is a church on every
corner ( better than a bank on every corner )and the churches were the refuge
from the storm. They basically welded the power in the community.
Desperately trying to change what IS to a Godless society. See how well that will
    work out. Perdition.

  2. BTW, a wonderful painting/pic?
This is what we have to contend with, liberal mindless/spiritualless garbage. Ran
across this accidentally. I am surprised he doesn't live in Austin. He has the
    resources to spout his venom:

    1. Needless to say, he wouldn't have the guts to say it man to man, but that's typical in this generation. Thanks.

  3. Some of this is a smoke screen for something bigger. What , Im not sure yet. The govt sure knows how to divide a nation quickly though. Perhaps The hard punch in the gut and stick in the eye of the South,;is a test to see how the South responds. Im a yankee but I beleive in what the South represents and will be on the side of Liberty if the shtf. Sorry for what the liberals are doing to you folks down there. I truely am.

  4. Why is the South constantly being crucified about slavery. Doesn't one usually
go to the source which was not the South. Rhode Island was the key slave
receiver: Having some one hundred and fifty vessels engaged in the African slave trade in 1770, Rhode Island is said to have been responsible for bringing more Africans to this country (United States) than any of the other New England colonies.
The real missing link. The South is secondary; the North is primary.
