  1. Wow - yeah it is. That's something out of a Pink Panther movie. Like a taxi.
Hah. I'd laugh, hopefully, pretty hard after having my doors blown off by this :)

    1. When I had a cab company I took an '72 Valiant which was used as a cab and put a built 383, 727 Art Carr and appropriate rear end in it as well as many other goodies. Quite noticeable with it's big tires and loud, dual exhaust though retaining everything else a cab would have. Once we were real busy, so I took it to the San Clemente bus station to pick up some Marines going to base. When they go in they said what is this, is this really a cab!?!:)

  2. I had a '70 Impala 2 door hard top with a 454, 390 HP 440 ft/lbs or torque with a
turbo 400 behind it. It was almost as plain as this one but it did have a vinyl top,
AC and full hub caps on it. 70 was a strike year at GM and they were building cars out of left over parts so what I had basically was the mechanicals that would have gone in something like a sheriff or city cop car in a 2 door body. The rear gear was something like 2.90 so it wasn't much out of the hole but that saved me a lot of tires and it made up for it at top end. I wish I still had it or one like it. CH
