The Secret Mountain Our Spies Will Hide In When Washington Is Destroyed

It’s after midnight. From this mountaintop perch, he can still see the radioactive remains of what used to be Washington, D.C., illuminating the horizon as he exits the helicopter. The nuclear glow serves as stark proof that the intelligence community failed to foresee and prevent the worst, but at least someone was smart enough to build this mountain bunker in rural Virginia for him and his fellow spies to regroup and survive. He opens the reinforced steel door and begins his descent.

This isn’t paranoid conspiracy fiction. This exact scenario was played out this week.

America’s Preparathon, yesterday’s national pep rally—brought to you by the Department of Homeland Security—tipped me off to this real underground bunker north of Charlottesville, Virginia. The bunker’s purpose is completely secret, though I was easily able to verify that it has been expanded and spiffed up in the years since 9/11 at a cost of tens of millions of dollars. It serves as a compact parable for everything that is wrong with government.

Yesterday’s Preparathon was described by its sponsor FEMA as “a grassroots campaign for action.” Washington’s definition of action is lining up and marching, saluting, and following orders. But there’s a secret definition, written between the lines of the Constitution and public laws: Officialdom evacuating from disorderly and disobedient America before the citizenry catches up or catches on. Countless billions have been spent on this endeavor over the years, a secret orgy of preparedness going on behind the scenes, one that ensures Washington can defend itself, take care of its own, and survive no matter what.

  1. One of my friends says this is a decoy facility and the real facilities are completely secret and only known to the top brass and president/veep.

In the 80's I lived on the Shenandoah River near Berryville, VA. The top of the mountain behind the house was Mount Weather - there was a road that followed along a 10-ft high chain link fence, with twenty feet cleared on the other side for the full length of it. 2. Goodness, why did you leave such a beautiful area? Mosby Country also. :) I grew up in Marshall, Fauquier County from 5 until I went to Vietnam.

    3. Yep, I've been through Blue Ridge Mountain road. It goes right through
the DHS/FEMA stronghold. I saw on a TV show on one of the cable channels that the entrance to the bunker is very near there down
what appears to be an un-kept access road to a woodland tract. The bunker supposedly has a hospital, shops, mortuary, a lake, exercise facilities, power generation equipment and huge amounts of fuel. Enough
food for a few hundred people. The next time I went that way after seeing the show I rode through there and everything I saw confirmed what the TV show said. Supposedly there is a tavern along the route where the FEMA workers hangout after work. I found what I thought was that place but at the time I passed through there it was closed. The TV show said that the tavern is run by an Ex-CIA guy that knows what goes on under Mt. Weather. CH

  2. That is a Shallow Underground Hardened Sight. A cold war NIKE A.A Nuke battery and a "Hawk" or "Other" AAA. sat there at one time . You can still see the "footprint". I'm rather surprised that it is still maintained with the Raydome and fallout filter houses intact. I was under the impression that all of the NIKE SUHS's were demilled and demolished WAY back in the 80's. I'd bet that hole was dug when "Ike" JFK or LBJ were in office. I'd also bet that because of Radiation "Leakage" in the Nuke warhead storage room (something the NIKE warhead was infamous for) NOBODY would want to spend a long time living in that hole .--Ray

    1. Further research on the internet shows that that could also have been a radar or even a command sight from the 50's. Built on a mountain top ether one is possible. Its also so small that even if it were multistory underground it couldn't support more than a few dozen people(or less) for more than a few weeks and nowhere near big enough to support the CIA's estimated 7000 "critical " employees. Hell Brock NORAD could only house 1500 for 90 days at its best and it was ten times the size of that fox hole. I think story's like this , and the FEMA death trains , Wal-Mart "military takeovers" and "underground nation wide military NWO trains" showcase perfectly the levels of fear (and outright paranoia) that are gripping our nation under Obama. WAY to many are seeing monsters under the bed. Sam is right about one thing this week. I don't have enough ammo.---Ray

  3. FOUND IT! A simple internet search turned up the FOR SALE sign posted on line by the owner ;ATT. The site was a 1947 AAA and later SAM site sold to ATT in the 60's as a "hardened communications relay" and used until 1991 as a microwave communications relay. They want to unload it because it is "no longer cost effective to upgrade" a bunker built when Truman was in office. --Ray
