- The Sony email hack continues to deliver! WikiLeaks highlights an email sent on July 22, 2014, to Sony USA chief Michael Lynton from PBS host Henry Louis Gates Jr.

- In the email, the "Finding Your Roots" host asked for advice regarding a request to censor footage:

"One of our guests has asked us to edit out something about one of his ancestors–the fact that he owned slaves. Now, four or five of our guests this season descend from slave owners, including Ken Burns. We've never had anyone ever try to censor or edit what we found. He's a megastar. What do we do?"

- The guest in question was none other than former actor, Ben Affleck, of Daredevil fame.

- The Sony USA chief suggested that Affleck’s family secret be left out of the show, calling the information sensitive.

- Gates admitted that withholding information is a violation of PBS rules, but still the showed aired in October 2014, with no mention of Affleck’s slave-owning ancestry.

  1. I always knew he was a douchebag. I never knew he was a descendent of slave owners. I guess he doesn't want to pay the big part of the "Reparations" check.

  2. Negroes didn't deserve freedom, they didn't earn it, it was given to them. Slavery was great for blacks. Free food, free home, free clothes, easy work(most blacks were house help), and free healthcare. They were basically on welfare whereas the poor whites of that era lived in shit and had to work for everything they had. When slavery ended, most blacks didn't want to leave their masters because they had it a lot better than the whites that were free. A black slave cost about $150,000 in today's dollars, would you abuse something you invested so much money in? 99% of whites did not own slaves. Reparations for what. It got them here didn't it. Alas.

  3. But will those ancestors have anything to do with him in the afterlife, or will he roam alone, forever in pergatory?

  4. His ancestors would certainly shun him, an abject coward.
