Castro Is Now Issuing Demands On U.S. -- Well Done, Mr. Obama

 http://www.newstalkflorida.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Senator-Marco-Rubio-told-Fox-News-Sunday-that-the-U.S.-must-move-slowly-on-Immigration-Reform.jpg

"At minimum, Barack Obama is the worst negotiator that we've had as president since at least Jimmy Carter, and maybe in the modern history of the country."

Soon after President Obama announced plans to normalize relations with Cuba, Sen. Marco Rubio called him the worst negotiator since Jimmy Carter. Cuban officials are now proving Rubio right.

As soon as Obama made his announcement, it became clear he'd pretty much given up the store and gotten nothing in return.

Cuba didn't have to make any concessions on freedom of speech, democratic elections, a market economy. It didn't have to turn over U.S. fugitives, including a convicted cop killer, whom it's been protecting for years.

Indeed, as we noted in this space after Obama's announcement, Raul Castro was soon bragging about how he'd struck a deal with Obama "without a single sacrifice of our principles."

  1. Obama isn't a bad negotiator or inept. Obama is weakening the position of the U.S. because he hates this place. Nobody could be that stupid.

  2. So what, Mr Rubio?

Our dismal attempts, as a country, to effect change in Cuba over the years, is a sorry statement.

We have trade and have diplomatic relations with some of the most vile governments in the world. To continue to single out Cuba, using them as a political pawn, in the upcoming elections, is actually sorry.

I, for one, enjoy a good Cuban cigar, now and then. I'm tired of trying to import them and actually having possession of them. a crime.

    Cigars.........give me a break!
