Oh, the irony … Brian Williams, the NBC “Nightly News” anchor who fabricated a story about being shot at by an RPG while in a helicopter in Iraq, is “a member of the Board of Directors of the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation,” according to his bio on the NBC News website.

According to the 990 tax returns for the foundation, Williams has been on the board since at least 2005. He is also listed on the “Board of Directors” page on the foundation’s website.

  1. Lyin' Brian Williams is just one of the huge majority that work for the networks under the false title of reporter purveying an agenda but not reporting, These puppets chant the mantra their masters pay them to recite. Lying Brian got caught, yet people will still sit in front of the "idiot box" and listen to and believe the lies they are told nightly. Never believe for a moment that even "fair and balanced FOX broadcasts anything other than what they are allowed too. As a matter of fact, I just got through watching Bill O'Riley kiss Williams ass and trying to sugarcoat a lie. Remember, birds of a feather flock together.

So, what idiotic excuse did they come up with?

  2. "He could have simply been confused (I'm paraphrasing)" "I'm not going to beat up on the man, he has been punished enough". One of the guest commentators pointed out to O'Riley that Williams had told the same lie about five days ago, etc. O'Riley did agree that it was about the money and nothing would be done to reprimand Lying Brian. O'Riley went on to make the comment that Lying Brian was on the Letterman Show and said "you get caught up in it. You have to make yourself sound interesting". Bookselling Bill stated he'd been on and had to fight the urge to ad lib (aka lie). Lying Brian never had any credibility from my viewpoint, maybe some folks will open their eyes.

    1. Thanks and I don't know anyone in the media who I would trust, so that makes it easy for me. :)

  3. Simply trust no one. (Trust, and respect must be earned, period). As far as anyone in media is concerned, it's all show, ie:entertainment. Overpaid talking heads. I don't have time to waste, so I simply don't watch. (In fact I don't even own a television).
