NC: Not even babies’ screams stop politicians from allowing late pregnancy abortions

They ought to rename the Republican Party that gained majority control of both the House and Senate in November’s midterm elections only to turn around and renege on campaign promises immediately after being sworn in, the Pontius Pilate Party, PPP for short.

No other name better suits a party that staged an 11th-hour revolt against the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, the 20-week abortion ban that had already got a green light in the last Congress with overwhelming GOP support.

Strikingly shameful,  it was mostly women Repubs who ended forcing the cancellation of a vote scheduled to coincide with yesterday’s March for Life and the anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade decision.  Namely, Representative Marsha, Blackburn (R., Tenn.), Rep. Renee Ellmers of North Carolina and Rep. Jackie Walorski of Indiana.

In some circles, Blackburn, Ellmers and Walorski,  quaking in fear of Dem attack ads, coveting womens’ votes for GOP and wanting the approval of millennials, the same ones looting and torching in Ferguson, MO,  could be called ‘Agents of Death’.

  1. I didn't know anything about Ellmers, but I have watched Blackburn speak on the House floor on C-span. Thought she was one of the good ones - either by their subterfuge or inaction, there really isn't anyone in elected government in Washington worth spit.

  2. As I remember, she was elected the first time on Tea Party principles, then went straight to DC and became a RINO.

  4. Every once in a while I learn something I wish I hadnt. The thought of the pain that the unborn must feel during termination of their existence is something I will loose sleep over. Im a grown 47 year old man that has seen a lot (like many). But this just brings me to tears. When will we stop alowing abortion as a means of birth controll. If it hurts me this much, what must God think of us?
