Back in 2011 when Michele Bachmann was trying to become the GOP nominee for President she promised to get America back to $2 a gallon gas. At the time this seemed… a reach. However, the folks at the liberal rag TIME Magazine called it a “fantasy” as they made fun of Bachmann’s grab for votes.

Well… Michele Bachmann has some news for you TIME…

  1. What can I say. Im in love with Michelle Bachman. Not sure she is potus material but anyone (besides shrillary) wouls be better than what we have now. As far as $2 gas Im almost wondering what obama promised the arabs to increase production and flood the market making Russian oil all but worthless. But Ill take it while I can get it.

  2. Bachman had nothing to do with the lower gas prices. the sauds cut the price of oil before the end of last year at their last opec meeting.

    1. The piece didn't state such, only that she was proven correct in her forecast.

    2. There was absolutely no price cut. You do know that during the OPEC meeting, they said they would NOT slow production during the usage slowdown and 'glut' of crude, right? This sent the price into free fall as they and US continue to double down and pump like there's no tomorrow. These prices aren't some deliberate price reduction because we're loved. This is a price way designed to crush our fracking/NG industry and to crush Russia. You notice Russia is spooning China? This is one major reason.
I get my info from Drudge, Zero Hedge, and Foundry Conservative blog sites. Check em out.

    1. I picked up some fuel storage tanks for my property to take advantage of these nice prices. Worst case; I have ready-gas when I need it and don't have to go to the stations to fill up. Best case, I have ready-gas when I need it and don't have to fight the super long line when/if things get much worse and the price starts spiking to Stupid again.

    2. People used to do that when they had the price wars in Virginia Beach when it was 19 cents.
