Redeemed, once more :) Summarizing The West's Russia-Ukraine Propaganda

Via WRSA

With regard to the goings-on in Ukraine, I have heard quite a few European and American voices piping in, saying that, yes, Washington and Kiev are fabricating an entirely fictional version of events for propaganda purposes, but then so are the Russians. They appear to assume that if their corporate media is infested with mendacious, incompetent buffoons who are only too happy to repeat the party line, then the Russians must be same or worse.

The reality is quite different. While there is a virtual news blackout with regard to Ukraine in the West, with little being shown beyond pictures of talking heads in Washington and Kiev, the media coverage in Russia is relentless, with daily bulletins describing troop movements, up-to-date maps of the conflict zones, and lots of eye-witness testimony, commentary and analysis. There is also a lively rumor mill on Russian and international social networks, which I tend to disregard because it's mostly just that: rumor. In this environment, those who would attempt to fabricate a fictional narrative, as the officials in Washington and Kiev attempt to do, do not survive very long.

There is a great deal to say on the subject, but here I want to limit myself to rectifying some really, really basic misconceptions that Washington has attempted to impose on you via its various corporate media mouthpieces.

1. They would like you to think that there is a Russian invasion in the East of Ukraine.

Teacher who wrote nasty, threatening tweets given reprimand

Via LH

On her Twitter feed, a Newark Memorial High School teacher described in explicit terms her desires for her students. She wanted to pour coffee on them. She wanted to stab them. Some of them, she said, "make my trigger finger itchy."

Alerted by one of her colleagues to the tweets -- which are laced with profanity and racist remarks -- the district disciplined teacher Krista Hodges with a written reprimand, and she continues to teach.

Alarms sound over 'imminent' attacks on U.S.

 http://www.skepticreport.com/images/210-01.jpg

The U.S. government is warning that a terrorist attack is imminent on the border between Texas and Mexico, according to the government watchdog group Judicial Watch.

The group said sources have told it the Mideast terrorist army ISIS is now operating in the Mexican city of Ciudad Juarez, the narcotics-trafficking center located just across the border from El Paso, Texas, and it is planning to attack the U.S. with car bombs or improvised explosive devices carried by vehicles.

Judicial Watch said high-level federal law enforcement, intelligence and other sources have confirmed that a warning bulletin for an imminent terrorist attack on the border was issued, and that agents for the Departments of Defense, Justice and Homeland Security have been put on alert and told to aggressively work all sources and potential leads.

One source told Judicial Watch intelligence officials “picked up radio talk and chatter” pointing to an attack on the border.

The source said both ISIS and al-Qaida were planning plots, and told Judicial Watch an attack “is coming very soon.

Mother-of-eight who lives off £2,000-a-month benefits says she will use a surrogate to have TWO more children

A single mother of eight who can no longer have children says she will use a surrogate to have another two – and claim more in benefits.

After putting so much strain on her body by having eight children in 13 years, Marie Buchan has been forced to have a hysterectomy.

But even though she admits struggling to control the large brood she has now, the 32-year-old plans to have two more using a surrogate mother.

Miss Buchan, who boasts about how easy it is to abuse the benefits system, admits that having a larger family will boost her chances of getting a five-bedroom house at taxpayers’ expense.

She has also calculated that she will get an extra £70 a week in welfare payments.
The mother, who caused outrage last year by saying her large family ‘couldn’t survive’ on state handouts of more than £26,000-a-year, confessed: ‘It is easy to claim off the state. I was devastated when doctors told me I could not have more [children].

Jimmy Carter refuses to cancel speech for Hamas front

Former President Jimmy Carter embracing Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal

A spokeswoman for Jimmy Carter says that, despite national outcry, the former president is going ahead with plans Saturday to deliver the keynote speech at a fundraiser of a Muslim organization that federal prosecutors and a federal judge say is a front group for the terrorist group Hamas.

In what it’s calling a “major” get, the terror-tied Islamic Society of North America has booked Carter as the featured speaker at its national convention in Detroit tomorrow.

It marks the first time that ISNA, which claims to be a moderate umbrella organization for American Muslim groups, has hosted a U.S. president. Carter has also agreed to participate in a breakout discussion session at the event.

In 2007, the Justice Department implicated ISNA in a plot to funnel more than $12 million to Hamas terrorists. According to an unsealed court document, Justice labeled ISNA an unindicted co-conspirator in the successful trial of the Holy Land Foundation, which acted as Hamas’ fundraising arm in America. Much of Holy Land’s leadership is now behind bars.

Hamas is officially designated a terrorist group by the U.S. government. Former Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz says Carter, as “an all-out supporter of Hamas,” may be violating federal laws against providing “material support to a listed terrorist organization.”

The Cycles of American History

Dr. Dan Eichenbaum - Autumn PATCON 2012

Because our lives are short, we tend to see history as a linear progression of events, evolving from what we personally know from our own past, that we then project into the future.

Historians and students of history, however, understand that history is cyclical. The linear progression we see for ourselves is only a small section of greater repetitive cycles that last for generations.

The people of our nation have now been purposefully pitted against each other along racial, financial, and political lines, a division that will, likely, never heal. These divisions are, for the most part, real and have a basis in history and fact. They are part of the normal human condition. In any population, people have different abilities, aptitudes, skin colors, sizes, strengths, etc. Our founders, recognizing this, gave us a system of government that created equal opportunity based on individual effort and responsibility . . . not a guarantee of equal outcomes.

What has changed is the deliberate creation of hostility and animosity.

Lawsuit seeking release of Michael Brown's juvenile records claims slain teen was a murder suspect

An explosive new lawsuit filed in St. Louis seeking the release of Michael Brown's juvenile criminal record alleges the slain teen was a gang member and faced a second degree murder charge.

The citizen journalism website GotNews took St. Louis County authorities to court Wednesday to secure the release of the records because it believes they do not need to be kept private since he is no longer alive.

The unarmed Brown was fatally shot earlier this month by white Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson. He has no criminal record as an adult, but only because he had recently turned 18, claims GotNews Editor-in-chief Charles Johnson.

The citizen journo wrote in a Wednesday afternoon post to his site and on Twitter that he was told by law enforcement sources the black teen has a juvenile arrest record that is being kept private.

DOJ To Give Money From Bank Of America Settlement To Liberal Activist Groups

Via Jeffery

http://edge.liveleak.com/80281E/ll_a_u/thumbs/2014/Aug/28/9078490f6647_thumb_1.jpg

Judicial Watch reports that the Department of Justice is giving liberal activist groups money from a $16.6 billion settlement with Bank of America.

The groups benefitting from the lawsuit, according to Investor’s Business Daily, are the National Council of La Raza, Operation Hope, National Community Reinvestment Coalition, and Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America. The money also went to “delinquent borrowers” in Chicago, Oakland, Detroit, Philadelphia, and other major “Democrat strongholds.”

“This is a wealth redistribution scheme disguised as a lawsuit,” Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, told The Daily Caller. “And who benefits from the distribution? Interest groups the administration relies on, outside interest groups, allies and politicians in communities trying to benefit as well.”

The Wunderlich family is determined to stay in Germany and continue fighting for homeschool freedom.

Just one year after Dirk and Petra Wunderlich’s four children were snatched in a police raid over home education, a state appeals court has said that—while homeschooling remains a danger and that the children should go to school—it was wrong for a family court judge in the case to keep legal custody away from the parents.
