Bill by Jim Sensenbrenner would dissolve federal ATF agency

Via avordvet

 Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner

Well, we can pray.

The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives would be eliminated under a bill in the works from U.S. Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner (R-Wis.).

Citing ATF's recent operational failures and its overlap with other federal law enforcement, Sensenbrenner is preparing a bill to dissolve the agency and have existing agencies in the U.S. Justice Department take on its duties.

"By absorbing the ATF into existing law enforcement entities, we can preserve the areas where the ATF adds value for substantially less taxpayer money," Sensenbrenner said. "While searching for its mission, the ATF has been plagued by decades of high-profile blunders....We cannot afford to ignore clear changes that will greatly enhance the government's efficiency."

Little Fork is a village of 640 in north central Minnesota.

July 4, 1776 - He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance. He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures. He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil Power.
Declaration of Independence, excerpt

art-link-symbol-small-rev01.jpg US Army says it couldn't win an urban war today
Physically controlling a urban population consisting of tens of millions of people spread over hundreds of square miles with military forces numbering in the tens of thousands not only ignores the force ratios recommended in doctrine but actually inverts them. Virtual isolation is even more improbable given cell phone saturation in urban environments worldwide and global interconnectedness through the World Wide Web. The congestion of ground avenues of approach, combined with the massive size of the megacity environments, makes even getting to an objective from the periphery questionable, let alone achieving an operational effect, says the US Army's Strategic Studies Group in this article, Megacities and The United States Army, at Scribd.

Remus says - DC has made its choice between their duty to defend our borders and assisting illegal aliens. They've chosen to be the last links in the "coyote" trail. DC is beyond being unresponsive to the people, they've come to believe they're unaccountable to the people.

Right of return - The president is seeking “emergency funding” for the border, he’s not talking about airlifting the kids home where they belong. He’s talking about shelters, humanitarianism, refugees, and every other “warm and fuzzy” liberalista feel-good label that comes along. No Army or National Guard. What is NORTHCOM for, if not to deal with home land security, I wonder? ... If a kid comes over the Mexican border, they go back to Mexico.  How hard is that, really?
George Ure at urbansurvival.com

Good neighbors - People say, 'Oh, fences don't work. You make a ladder.' Well, then you build two fences, triple strand fences. San Diego did that in the mid 90's and within a decade, the illegal immigration rate at that point was reduced by 90% and people ended up going through other places like Arizona. If fences don't work, why is there one around the White House? If they don't work, why is it that the Israeli fence which separate Israel from the West Bank has cut down terror attacks within Israel by 99%. Fences work.

Immigration Crisis = Insurgency & $3.7 Billion for Border Crisis Doesn't Add Up

Gen. Michael Hayden, former director of the National Security Agency and CIA, said the constant flow of illegal immigrants should be treated like an insurgency.

"It's not an insurgency. I mean an insurgency has a political aim to overthrow the government," Hayden said on Newsmax TV's "America's Forum." "This is a criminal enterprise that's so big and so powerful that as a byproduct, it actually threatens the government."

"If you take $3.7 billion and divide it by 52,000 children, that's $71,000 per person," he explained.

"I've gone online and have taken a look on Orbitz and taken a look at what does it cost to fly people to El Salvador and Guatemala and Honduras," Johnson, a Republican, said. "You have fares as low as $207. There's nonstop flights at $450."

"You take those numbers and it costs somewhere between $11 million and $30 million to return people in a very humane fashion," Johnson said.

"We can put them up in a hotel room and make sure they get a shower and feed them," he added.

Johnson said this would be "a far easier way of handling" the situation, and it would also "send the signal to the folks in Central America that you can't come into America and expect to stay."

What's your payoff from Obama, blithering idiot?

Glenn Beck said bringing soccer balls, teddy bears, and hot meals to illegal immigrants who have been detained along the U.S.-Mexico border will be the most right thing he has ever done.

On July 19, Beck will travel to McAllen, Texas, because he believes Americans must "open our hearts" to the illegal immigrant children who have been unlawfully entering the country.

"I’ve never taken a position more deadly to my career than this – and I have never, ever taken a position that is more right than this," Beck claimed, according to The Blaze.

Beck said helping illegal immigrant children, most of whom have fled Central American nations, was more "right" to him than even calling out radical Islam.

Department of Homeland Security officials are stonewalling lawmakers who try to make unannounced visits to immigrant detention facilities throughout the country and are closing off public roads along the U.S.-Mexico border in an effort to keep journalists from reporting on the growing illegal immigration crisis, federal law enforcement officials told TheBlaze.

The officials said senior supervisors have made scheduling visits ahead of time mandatory at detention facilities, turned back officials from unannounced visits, and that Border Patrol agents have been forced to clean up facilities and transfer illegal aliens from unauthorized holding cells before they are inspected by lawmakers. Reporters have also been stopped by DHS officials from traveling along public access roads near the Rio Grande, where most of illegal immigrant children and groups are crossing into the U.S.

Concealed Carry Up 130%, Violent Crime & Murder Down 22% Since 2007.

 cprc chart 1

A report released  by the Crime Prevention Research Center (CPRC) today reveals that at least 11.1 million Americans have valid concealed carry permits (PDF), and that the number of Americans who can lawfully concealed carry is actually much higher due to the fact that not all states have up-date-data, and the fact that four states (and most of Montana) does not require permits to carry concealed.

The last comprehensive report on the number of concealed carry permit holders was completed three years ago by the U.S. Government Accountability Office and showed that 8 million Americans held a concealed carry permit.

CPRC collected the most recent data available for each state and the results showed that there are total of 11,113,013 Americans who currently hold concealed carry permits representing 4.8 percent of the total population.

A former Kentucky bank teller says she was fired from her job at U.S. Bank for telling customers to have a blessed day.

Muslim Prayer Rug Found on Arizona Border by Independendent American Security Contractors

Via Billy

Matthew Leber spokesman for the American Patriot, Three Percent, sent Breitbart News photos of what American security contractors on the ground believe is a Muslim prayer rug found near the border in Arizona last week.

A member of the security team spoke with Breitbart News on Monday night saying they were on patrol right along the border came down into a wash and the area were working in just south of Sierra Vista in Coronado national forest.

“That area is prime crossing from Yucca Springs over to Copper Canyon. And the reason that they use that area is anything from plain old Mexicans and South Americans to cartels and anybody else is because border patrol has a high point lookout area where in the Coronado national forest, tourists can come on up,” He said.

Couple: Catholic church asking parishioners to house illegals, stay silent

Protesters in Murrieta.

On Tuesday, a retired doctor and his wife told radio talk show Rush Limbaugh that the Archdiocese of San Bernardino has decided to absorb the flood of illegal immigrants by asking parishioners to take them into their homes. Moreover, the couple said, the church asked them to stay silent about the idea.

"They have made the decision that they're going to absorb the immigrants that are coming through because the federal government called the bishop's office on Monday and they're gonna be busing these immigrants to our communities and asking us to open our homes and to house them for up to a month," said a woman identified as "Ann." She also told Limbaugh the church said it would reimburse them and directed them not to speak to anyone, especially the press.

NC: Eric Holder Just Sued Another State

While states across the nation are looking for ways to combat rampant reports of voter fraud, North Carolina decided to implement some commonsense regulations requiring individuals to present identification prior to casting a ballot.

Included in the new law is a reduction in the allotted period of early voting to 10 days and the elimination of same-day voter registration.

Although the requirements apply to all North Carolinians equally, a number of race-obsessed activists – including Attorney General Eric Holder – contend that the law is somehow discriminatory.

Veteran Sonoma County Sheriff’s Deputy Erick Gelhaus, who fired eight shots at 13-year-old Andy Lopez before his partner could leave the car, will not face criminal charges from the local district attorney:

A sheriff’s deputy won’t be charged for fatally shooting 13-year-old Andy Lopez as he walked with a BB pellet rifle that resembled an AK-47 in Santa Rosa last October, in a shooting that triggered a spate of protests and calls for criminal charges.

Sonoma County District Attorney Jill Ravitch announced the decision not to file criminal charges on Monday afternoon.

Sheriff’s Deputy Erick Gelhaus shot Lopez seven times on Moorland Avenue just outside of Santa Rosa on Oct. 22, 2013. The teen died at the scene.

Border Agent Spokesman: Flood of Immigrants Will End Up Staying

He expressed dismay that the Obama administration is requesting more than $3 billion to care for all of the children coming in illegally rather than to stem the tide and seal the border.

"The American people are going to foot that bill specifically for the care of these children," he said.

"My question is, why aren't they putting that $3 billion within Border Patrol to their jobs on the ground to stop these people from coming across?

"Why are we spending money to ship people across the country at this moment in time and potentially having a problem with health across the country? Look at what is going on as opposed to what is being said."

What was that about the *gasoline being poured on the tinder just waiting for a spark? With all the shit going on in 'Merica right now, it won't take much before the Confederate Battle Flag may be back in use full time. These little whiny snot nose brats got NO idea just how bad their lives can get just that quick. I spent 10 years working in the South Bronx, I know shit can go south real quick given that spark! But that's just my personal opinion. They found it "troublesome", what a bunch of BS!

Via Susan

Ray Nagin

Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin was sentenced Wednesday to 10 years in prison for bribery, money laundering and other corruption that spanned his two terms as mayor - including the chaotic years after Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005.

U.S. District Judge Helen Berrigan handed down the sentence Wednesday morning.

Nagin was convicted Feb. 12 of accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars from businessmen who wanted work from the city or Nagin's support for various projects. The bribes came in the form of money, free vacations and truckloads of free granite for his family business.

“It’s a disgrace for them to besmirch Lee’s military honor,” said Brandon Dorsey, commander of a unit of the Sons of Confederate Veterans based in Lexington. “As far as I’m concerned, they should go ahead and remove his name from the school. I don’t think they’re worthy of his name.”

Dorsey said the university was, “in effect, desecrating Lee’s grave,” and he predicted a backlash. “I don’t think we’ll let it stand. It’s going to be long, nasty fight.”

Heritage and History are two sides of the same coin in the commerce of humanity.  By placating the few, namely the six who threaten "civil disobedience" you rob humanity of the choice to remember or to forget.  In the name of political correctness, which at this juncture is an oxymoron, meaning favoritism in not in the interest of correctness,  you write a blank manifest that suggests a preference.

How is preference anything other than manipulation, particularly within this case.

You as educators should be striped of your degrees and what ever credentials that you have; you have traded those accomplishments for bowel of soup and given in to an idealistic hypocrisy.  Shame on you.

Ted Cruz Is Refusing To Give Up The Fight Against Thad Cochran And He Isn’t Pulling Any Punches

He needs to prove he didn't know about what was happening at the time since there are allegations.

In the weeks following Sen. Thad Cochran’s primary runoff win, Mississippi Republicans have been split between the establishment politician’s supporters and those who believe he only won by enticing many black Democrats to vote across party lines. His opponent, Tea Party-backed Chris McDaniel, has received support from many high-profile conservatives – including Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.

Discussing the issue with radio host Mark Levin during a recent show, Cruz confirmed that he wants to make sure the charges against Cochran receive sufficient scrutiny.

“These allegations need to be vigorously investigated,” he said; “and anyone involved in criminal conduct should be prosecuted.”
