SEXING UP YOUR KIDS: Here’s What A School Has for Your 4th Grader

Via Angry Mike

Here is a book called “It’s Perfectly Normal” on the 4th grade reading list in Tennessee. Below are photos Victoria Jackson took from the book that a teacher of 30 years shared with her. Parents are not aware that this book is in 4th grade classrooms. Candy Emerson is currently running for a position on the Williamson County Schoolboard in an attempt to remove these books and Common Core from schools, and to remove apathy from the current school board.

13 Year Old Reportedly Hits Cop with Snowball - Faces Felony Charges

A 13 year old Chicago school boy has been suspended from school and is facing a criminal record for throwing a snowball that hit a cop on the arm.

The boy and a group of classmates were on their way home when a snowball was thrown which hit the officer's arm as he sat in his patrol car. The kid, who denies throwing the snowball, said he saw it, and it actually hit the car not the officer. The boy was taken into custody and charged with aggravated battery to a 'peace officer', which is a felony.

The kid, who is due in court on March 12th, faces having a criminal record for a felony charge, something that will affect him for years to come over the throwing of a snowball.

Chicago police have confirmed that the boy has no gang affiliation and that he has no criminal record.

'Save the Storks' launches mobile crisis-pregnancy vehicles

'We don't want to wait for them to come to us, we go to them'

A fleet of mobile crisis pregnancy centers is being deployed in cities across the nation to provide women considering abortion an alternative.

Save the Storks, a pro-life ministry, explains its mission to “empower abortion-minded mothers all over America to choose life,” according to its site.

Launched by Founder and President Joe Baker, Save the Storks now has four mobile “Stork Buses” that operate in partnership with local crisis pregnancy centers, with plans for three more soon.

The centers operate the vehicles outside of abortion clinics.

“We don’t want to wait for them to come to us, we go to them,” Baker says of women considering abortion.

“There’s a statistic that 84 percent of post-abortive women felt cornered by abortion – that it was their only choice,” Baker told WND. “We are catering to those women and trying to show them there is an alternative.”

Through the use of the state-of-the-art “Stork Buses,” made by Mercedes Benz, sidewalk counselors are able to provide free pregnancy testing and a sonogram to abortion-minded women in a confidential, comfortable, and professional setting – just outside the clinic they were planning to visit.

Dixie and I are listening to this as an audio book whenever we are in the car and it states that out of the 28,000 German pilots in WWII, only 1,200 survived the war.

Two enemies discover a 'higher call' in battle

Franz Stigler (a former airline pilot from Bavaria) was a veteran Luftwaffe fighter pilot attached to Jagdgeschwader 27 and at the time had 22 victories to his name and would be eligible for the coveted Knight's Cross with one more downed enemy aircraft.[1]

The Story of Charles Brown and Franz Stigler

Excerpt

The German Officer had several close calls during his years of combat. On one of his more interesting missions he and others in his Me-109 Fighter Squadron had to escort a flight of Stuka Dive Bombers after ships in the Mediterranean. Someone in the command structure decided that the Me-109 escorting fighters should also carry one 500-pound-bomb Rather than dive-bombing as the Stukas did, the fighters were to go down just above the water and release their bomb, skipping it onto the ship. “So, when the Stuka started diving, we had to dive too. We went past them because we were twice as fast as they were.

They were to drop on the ship’s deck and we would try getting our bombs into the side of the ship. As, I was closing in, I was to drop the bomb and jump over the ship. So, that’s what I did. When I looked out on to my left wing, there was the bomb coming with me!!” When Franz had dropped the bomb, it had bounced off the water and was flying formation just off his left wing. Rather than dropping down after passing the ship as planned, he climbed rapidly to get away from the bomb, which could only go down into the water. “I killed a lot of fish, I think”, he joked.

Stigler engaged in combat as a Bf-109 pilot in Africa, Italy, Central and Western Europe during his service with the Luftwaffe. During his 487 combat missions in the Me-109, he had 28 confirmed victories and was wounded 4 times. Herr Stigler finished the war flying 16 more combat missions in the ME-262 jet, assigned to the select JV-44, the celebrated Squadron of Experts (Aces), making him one of the world’s early jet fighter pilots in combat.

The Firearms Blog is claiming that AR manufacturer LWRC is being purchased by Colt:
A well placed source just told us that Colt is buying LWRC for $60 million. The deal is supposed to close on 1 March. The Maryland company may relocate to Florida or Texas and the LWRC M6 Individual Carbine (M6IC) rifle will become a Colt branded product.

Former Member of the Supreme Court Wants to Add These Five Words to the Second Amendment

Via avordvet

Pro-gun advocates will likely be relieved that John Paul Stevens, 93, is now retired and no longer serving as a member of the Supreme Court. In his upcoming book, “Six Amendments: How and Why We Should Change the Constitution,” he argues for a slight change to the Second Amendment that would fundamentally alter its meaning.
As written by the Founding Fathers in the U.S. Constitution, the Second Amendment reads:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.
Stevens argues that the authors of the Second Amendment were mostly concerned about being oppressed by a national standing army, not so much about the right to self-defense.
So in order to reflect the changing times, he says, the Second Amendment should be altered to add five key words:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms when serving in the militia shall not be infringed.

GE Will No Longer Design Projects to Please Climate Change Advocates

Excellent.

In a watershed moment and a huge victory over environmentalists, General Electric has agreed to stop projects that are designed solely for the purpose of carbon dioxide reductions to please those who lobby for climate change concessions.

The National Center for Public Policy Research, a non-partisan, free-market, independent conservative think-tank which has been fighting GE for years because of GE’s liberal bias under CEO Jeffrey Immelt, scored a huge victory after receiving the commitment from General Electric.

Late in 2013, the National Center submitted a shareholder proposal as part of GE's 2014 proxy statement and annual meeting materials.

UAW Appeals Historic Loss in Tennessee

 Volkswagon
Screw them.

Appeals process could drag out union election for years

The United Auto Workers (UAW) union asserted in an appeal to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) filed Friday that Republican public officials and union opponents unfairly influenced workers at a Tennessee Volkswagen plant that rejected the union by a 53-47 percent margin on Feb. 14.

Those groups, the UAW said in its complaint, “conducted what appears to have been a coordinated and widely-publicized coercive campaign, in concert with their staffs and others, to deprive VWGOA workers of their federally-protected right, through the election, to support and select the UAW as their exclusive representative.”

Anti-union forces were not the only political actors to get involved in the election.

President Barack Obama voiced his support for the unionization effort and a prominent VW board member, who also represents European labor group IG Metall, threatened to withhold investments to the plant if it did not unionize.

Glenn Taubman, the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation attorney who represented those employees, said that the union was cherry-picking incidents to overthrow the desires of the majority of workers at the plant.

Ukrainian parliament votes to oust president, sets early elections

The Ukrainian parliament voted to set early elections for May 25 after declaring President Viktor Yanukovych unable to carry out constitutional duties.

The decision comes just hours after embattled Yanukovych said he wouldn't respect any decisions made by parliament.

Yanukovych stated Saturday that he has no intention to resign, and called the political crisis a coup while saying it resembles the rise of the Nazis in the 1930s.

"They are trying to scare me. I have no intention to leave the country. I am not going to resign, I'm the legitimately elected president," Yanukovych said from Kharkiv in a televised statement.

"Everything that is happening today is, to a greater degree, vandalism and banditry and a coup d'etat," he said. "I will do everything to protect my country from breakup, to stop bloodshed."

Senators Demand FBI Head Answer Questions About Indictment of Dinesh D'Souza

Four United States Senators have a written a letter to FBI director James Comey about the indictment of author and filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza. Senators Charles Grassley, ranking member of the Judiciary Committee, Jeff Sessions, Ted Cruz, and Mike Lee are the four senators, all Republicans, to have signed the letter.

The letter quotes Harvard Law School professor Alan Dershowitz as saying, "I can't help but think that [D'Souza's] politics have something to do with it. ... It smacks of selective prosecution."

And, the senators write, "To dispel this sort of public perception that Mr. D'Souza may have been targeted because of his outspoken criticisms of the President, it is important for the FBI to be transparent regarding the precise origin of this investigation."

The senators provide a dozen direct questions for the FBI director to answer. "To explain the details of these routine reviews and provide context to those who may be skeptical of the origins of this investigation, please provide answers to the following questions regarding FBI's regular review of campaign files:

Gun makers in the United States produced a record number of weapons in 2012, as new government data suggests Democratic presidents may actually be a boon to firearms manufacturers.

According to numbers released by US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, more than 8.5 million guns were produced in 2012, compared to about 6.5 million in 2011. That’s a 31 percent increase, and the highest number recorded since the agency began tracking gun production in 1986.
