Ron Paul: All I Want for Christmas is a (Real) Government Shutdown

Just think:  He could have been President.

Instead of panicking over a limited shutdown, a true pro-liberty Congress would be eagerly drawing up plans to permanently close most of the federal government, starting with the Federal Reserve.

Second on the chopping block should be the Internal Revenue Service.

The troops should be brought home, all foreign aid should be ended.

The troops should be brought home, all foreign aid should be ended.

All forms of welfare should be shut down.

The Department of Education should be permanently padlocked.

  2. Toss out the Departments of Agriculture and Energy as well, and I'm all in. You were our best hope, Ron but the media deck was stacked against you.

The establishment GOP was so elated having defeated the TEA Party that they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory and passed that $1.1 trillion omnibus spending bill.

    1. The RINO's are approaching a Bridge Too Far and the sooner they get there, the better.

  3. "Ron Paul 2016" I wish. The very first time I was actually excited about a presidential
candidate. Sick of the same old type of candidates over and over. They're all
a bunch of carney's... .Like rust, rot and roaches ... they never really go away.

    1. You know, there was a day in December before the last election when I thought he might well win. Some polls had him ahead of all, but sad to say, the country lost what was probably our last true hope. What a crying shame.
