NC: Paul Valone Appeals to Gun Voters

https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/2560580859/2ohhk44m8it9lg4t36h6_400x400.gif

Have you ever heard this? “It doesn’t matter if I vote. The big money already has the election in the bag.” Even money says you’ve heard a gun owner give some variation of the “my vote doesn’t count anyways” excuse for not voting. Maybe you’ve even said it yourself.

They are wrong. The GRNC Political Victory Fund installed a sitting congressman, on his first run, by 86 votes. You heard it right: 86 votes. Numerous legislative races in North Carolina have been decided by less than 100 votes.

According to the most recent poll, incumbent Democrat Kay Hagan leads Republican challenger Thom Tillis in the race for US Senate by less than 1%. I’m not here to sing the praises of Thom Tillis. (I guarantee he hates me a lot more than he hates you.) But like it or not (and like him or not), a half dozen races – including ours – will determine whether Barack Obama and Harry Reid continue to control the Senate. If they win, I assure you we will lose.

  2. I just got back from a trip up North to see Mom - I listened to both Rush and Savage about the election tomorrow and that this is not about the fact that we still don't have perfect people running for office. THIS IS ABOUT STOPPING OBAMA and his Democrat Socialist Machine! Stay focused, Folks! I, too, was getting cynical about all of this, but really this is no time to quit on the blessings we have been given in this country. I don't believe this is going to be a close election as far as the Repudiation of Obama goes. Spin Spin Spin - no one with half a brain is buying it any more.

This morning, before I headed home, I took my frail soon-to-be 94 year old mother to cast her absentee ballot today who barely has the strength to write her name any more, but she knows what is at stake here and she is thrilled that she could do her part to vote. It's up to us to hold the turkeys accountable after this election. The Gloves will definitely come off if they don't honor their pledge to stop these Traitors in our Govt.

    1. Thanks and I didn't know your mother was so frail as you never mentioned it and you are 100% correct.

  3. BTW - Michael Savage asked one of his callers to name a worse fascist president than Obama in America's history - the caller said, "Wilson" to which Savage agreed, but also included Franklin Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln, whom Savage said was the very WORST - a dictator throughout his presidency. How's about that!

  4. She has taken a downward slide in the last few months, but we are hoping this is temporary due to some falls she had and is still recovering. I don't know why she can't hardly write any more and is so weak, but will get her in a few weeks and bring her to my house for Thanksgiving and fatten her up ;) and celebrate her birthday on the anniversary of Kennedy's assassination. Yikes!
