Every year hunters from around the country feed the hungry by donating
nearly three million pounds of meat and 11 million meals to those who
are less fortunate. Just one pound of ground venison can feed four
people.
It's a good program. A few years ago in Louisiana the Feds destroyed a few tons on the food for the hungry. I just processed 5 pounds of deer jerky myself last night for a shtf scenario - I could live on jerky- beats some of the MRE's.

Not labeled the way they wanted it to be. Why not destroy it - the govt gives you everything you need.
