A Greenville, Michigan homeowner awoke to a drunk nude man in his home and armed himself with a shotgun while yelling at the neighbors to call police.
The naked man then reportedly said that he wasn’t afraid of police and attempted to either grab or swat away the shotgun.
This was not a very wise decision, and had a predictable outcome.
A 27-year-old man who walked naked into a Greenville home, before he was shot and killed after a confrontation with the homeowner, had been drinking in earlier hours.
The man who was shot to death has been identified as John Sherman Russell III of Gowen.

So this naked drunk guy was just going from house to house to find a window open or a door unlocked so he could sleep it off. I have been by this town on the way North, and heard about this, but didn't see the whole story. And I still don't know the whole story - how old was the homeowner and what was his name? Not given and I wonder why. I think I would have gone back upstairs, locked my bedroom door, and called the cops. If anyone started rattling my door, then I would have been ready to do whatever was necessary at that point. But, I am just a dumb goil, and hence the cop's quote of the day about Summer:
