France offers Iraq Christians asylum after Mosul threat

Iraqi Christian refugees receive aid in Hamdaniya, east of Mosul, 20 July 14

The French government says it is ready to offer asylum to Iraqi Christians forced to flee by Islamist militants in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.

Many fled Mosul after the Islamic State (IS) group which seized much of northern Iraq told them to convert to Islam, pay a tax or face death.

Iraq is home to one of the world's most ancient Christian communities.

Two top ministers said, "We are ready, if they so desire, to help facilitate asylum on our territory."

  1. Extra-Biblical proof that, yes, we are living in the end times! France of all places is showing more moral courage, by doing some thing so politically incorrect, that our own State Dept would never allow it to even be mentioned or hinted at: Offering asylum to Christians. Who would have thought that France of all countries could make the FUSA look bad in comparison?
BTW, where are all the so-called Christian Churches, acting to protect their "brothers and sisters in Christ"? Totally AWOL.
So here is an my open applogy. To France: I applogize and am sorry for calling you a cheese eating surrender monkey. In this one act you have show more moral courage, a real spine, instead of jelly and that you have balls of steel, than the FUSA has done in the past dozen years combined.
To Lee Greenwood, with all due disrespect; FOAD

  2. You won't hear Obama offer this- at all. Rick Perry should keep repeating this. Texas should offer and give a 99 year lease on the border- one stipulation don't let any fucks come over ...
