The Obama administration apparently is stonewalling pleas for help for an American Marine who said he took a wrong turn and ended up over the Mexican border, and in possession of several guns that were legal in the United States but illegal in Mexico.
That’s according to members of the family of Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi.
In an exclusive interview with WND, Jill Tahmooressi described her son, Andrew, as “despondent” right now because there has been no word from Washington on help for his case.
She said he has lost significant hope, and that she can hear it in his voice, now that so much time has passed with no word on his release, and especially no word from Obama.
“We are very disappointed in the White House,” said Jill Tahmooressi. “We did what they said we had to do to get a response from the White House, but we have not heard a thing.”

Perhaps the next time the Mexican soldiers come across the border into the USA, we should detain them for bringing illeagal weapons into our country.

not come from "detaining" them for bringing illegal weapons.
Without question, there is only one response when this happens again,
and armed mexican and soldiers encounter armed citizens first.
Sorry for saying so, but that is the only valid response to their armed
trespassing.
Or detain them and keep their fucking weapons... H&K had a plant there from what I heard they didn't weight the carriers for the HK 21's in the right range causing a few to blow up. Not sure about the validity. I know Mexico still has 55k .30 carbine Bill Clinton sent.

DeleteUnfortunately, there has yet to be any real efforts by militias to secure the southern border, let alone going into mexico to rescue a Marine.
Respectfully, I'm just giving my opinion and not hacking on previous comments.
There have been some federalies caught on our side of the border since the Marine was imprisoned. They were processed by our folks in a matter of a few hours and sent back still carrying their weapons so I read.
