200 U.S. contractors surrounded by jihadists in Iraq. No help from military as escape routes cut off

About 200 Americans under contract with the Department of Defense at Balad Air Force Base in Iraq are trapped by the al-Qaida-inspired jihadists who have seized control of two cities and are now threatening Baghdad, according to WND sources.

The sources, private contractors who have recently returned to the U.S. from Iraq, said Friday their former colleagues effectively have been abandoned by the U.S. military and are fighting for their lives against an army of jihadists surrounding the base who belong to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, or ISIS.

The U.S. contractors are at Balad to help the Pentagon prepare the facilities for the delivery of the F-16 aircraft the Obama administration has agreed to provide the Iraqi government.

The surrounded Americans said they currently are under ISIS fire from small arms, AK47s, and rocket propelled grenades, or RPGs.

  2. So is the Sec of State Lurch Kerry going to blame this spontainous protest on another unknown "lslamaphobic" You Tube video? Bengazhi 2.0? I bet there are some old Viet Namess refugees who have a strong opinion based on first experience of what it is like to depend on the USAs promises.
Yes dear...your check is in the mail, I will respect you in the morning, I wont.....mouth, and you can depend on me to keep my word to protect you and be there when you need me.

  3. F-16's for an unstable chaotic hellhole? I know, it's just a "good will gesture," and we must honor our agreements even when it all goes down the chute. Bring Bergdohl back, but leave these men to their future beheadings. Yup, good plan. This is how Soetoro arms the Enemy and destroys our country's faith in anything: he ordered that a drone shot down in Iran NOT be destroyed & then the Iranians could reverse engineer it (they did just that)- all the military assets we leave behind end up in the radicals' hands just as planned by our Traitor in Chief. How long must we endure this MADNESS???

    1. I guess they want to have more blood on their hands since the Vietnamese weren't quite enough to even whet their appetite.

    1. Yup, they were willing to kill 25 million in the early eighties, so what's a few measly patriots now? In fact, they would kill any number, to be able to control us. Sick people.

  6. Well Golly Gee---since this is an ongoing situation---some suggestions...

The III, the Contractors and their Family/Friends-- and any other interested "parties" better be recording everything---phone/radio/video/web pages---before it gets scrubbed and classified. Learn from the Bundy situation and get everything out on the web real time if possible---for the contractors....you might as well do it...highly unlikely you will be getting that pension...save yourselves and your friends and try and make it out alive.

Then after the shit settles a bit---for the contractors and all US military...active and retired...uh...don't you think it is about time you all came home and take care of business here? There is a nation, your people and your family that needs saving....time to start writing history and you can supply the ink, the story line and they lived happily ever after ending.

    2. I pray these US contractors and military will get out of there alive and come home soon to do exactly what you recommend...while there is still time to affect that happy storyline and outcome. I have some spare rooms if anyone needs a place to stay ;)
