  1. Proposed Amendment 28 has never been about repealing the Income Tax, so I am confused - from the Tea Party website:
    Proposed
28th Amendment to the United States Constitution:

"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United
States that does not apply equally to the Senators and Representatives; and,
Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and Representatives that
does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States ".

If they want to change the content of the 28th Amendment, better get their act together - abolishing the IRS will solve a lot of problems related to tyrannical govt. abuse. The flat tax with no exemptions hurts the little guy, who are in the vast majority now - consumption tax is the only way to get everybody's skin in the Game.

    1. Is that from the Tea Party Patriot's website? I vote for zero taxation which is what we had before the Tyrant came to power. :)

  2. I found the Tea Party Patriot petition - no mention of Amendment 28, except in the video (I agree with you on the 0% income tax ) :

NATIONAL PETITION TO REPEAL THE 16TH AMENDMENT

WHEREAS, the rights of the American people are granted by our Creator and protected from government infringement by our Constitution; and

WHEREAS, the 16th Amendment, granting the federal government the power to tax the income of its own people, is a direct violation of our right not to be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law, as guaranteed by the Fifth Amendment; and

WHEREAS, the Internal Revenue Service has abused its power under the 16th Amendment to harass tea party Americans trying to exercise their First Amendment rights to the freedom of speech and assembly; and

WHEREAS, the federal government has proven itself incapable of controlling its urge to recklessly spend and waste the funds it confiscates from the fruits of its citizens’ labor; and

WHEREAS, Congressman Jim Bridenstine (R-OK) has introduced a bill in the House Representatives to permanently repeal this disaster and end this oppression.

THEREFORE, I hereby demand that you immediately and completely approve HJ Res 104 without delay, thereby relieving the American people from the oppressive burden of the federal income tax and the Internal Revenue Service!
