Shark Attack

Via Ninety Miles From Tyranny

Never, ever dive without a bang stick. Don't keep your fish in a bag on your belt, but either trail it of take them immediately to the top and leave them on a float.

    1. :) I've never actually been attacked by a shark, but have had some interesting occurrences. Once I was diving off Laguna Beach and I felt tugs on my right fin, but thought it was just the kelp getting hung up. My buddy started going towards the top motioning me to go too, but I was interested in a fish I was stalking, when he insisted, I went up in an unhappy mood, but found out that the tugs had been from an old Moray who evidently didn't like me in his territory. :) They are good to eat, but you had better get them in the head, because if in the body they'll go right for you. I imagine this Moray was just crazy, because they never bother you unless you shoot them and they only look mean because they breath through their mouths. Anyway, I went back down looking for my Sheephead who had disappeared unfortunately.
