ABC's 20/20 Portrays Criminal Winnie Mandela As A Hero And Having A Poignant Love Story With Nelson Mandela

Despite the fact that she is a violent thug mass murderess of men, women and children.

The South African Truth and Reconciliation commission found "Ms Winnie Madikizela Mandela politically and morally accountable for the gross violations of human rights", concluding that she had personally been responsible for the murder, torture, abduction and assault of numerous men, women and children, as well as indirectly responsible for even larger number of such crimes.

Winnie Mandela was also a big fan and advocate of "necklacing", which is the practice of tying a tire around someone's neck filled with gasoline and lighting it on fire. This is serious journalistic malpractice on the part of ABC and historic revisionism.

Temptations - Silent Night

My favorite and most beautiful version. The "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" introduction is from Floyd Cramer's medley, first released August 1980 on the Temptations Album "Give Love At Christmas." The single was released in 82. Lineup for this version was: Otis Williams, Dennis Edwards, Melvin Franklin (born David Melvin English), Richard Street, Glenn Carl Leonard.
There was an earlier version on the album "Christmas Card" released in 1970. The lineup for that version was Dennis Edwards, Eddie Kendricks, Paul Williams, Melvin Franklin and Otis Williams. Completely different rendition though.

 prosecution

This nation now has, at its center of power, a man who is unilaterally revising law by rewriting it. Thus, passing law unilaterally. The President is enforcing laws and suspending them arbitrarily at his sole discretion — carving out special exemptions for benefactors, and deciding essentially what is and is not law — absent the consent of the legislature or approbation of the judiciary.
In all other nations, such activities would brand someone doing likewise a dictator.

In America, we tend to think dictators always wear gauche military uniforms and sport hideous mustaches. But a finely tailored suit will do. Because it is not about the emperor’s clothes or facial hair, but rather has more to do with his actions – particularly the powers they unlawfully gather unto themselves.

Two weeks ago on Special Report with Bret Baier, Senator Rand Paul was asked by George Will, “What can be done [to solve this]?” Senator Paul responded, “I’m not sure I know the answer.”

Senator Paul is not alone. In fact, both sides of the aisle are questioning the president.

Former Democrat governor of Vermont, and staunch liberal-progressive, Howard Dean said:
“I wonder if [Obama] has the legal authority to do this, since [Obamacare] was a     congressional bill that set this up.”

Properly Observing Pearl Harbor Day

Top two Uncle Charlie at Pearl Harbor.

This one he was in military school as I remember, but I can't make out the buttons.  Could they possibly be Sic Semper Tyrannis ones from a Virginia school? Plus could the item on his left collar be a rank designation?  Any help would be appreciated.

The sacrifices of those who served in the American military in December, 1941 should be recounted often for us all to ponder and appreciate and the 3000 Americans who died at Pearl Harbor should not have perished in vain.  The sincerest memorial to those who fought and died in this tragedy (and others) is to analyze and discuss the multitude of reasons why it happened, and how do we ensure that American servicemen are not knowingly put in harm’s way for political purposes ever again.  As there is far too much information available today for the surprise attack myth to survive scrutiny, and thanks to the Freedom of Information Act and declassification of hundreds of thousands of decoded Japanese messages, we can now get a more clear picture of how events unfolded in 1941.

The myth reported by court historians and the media is that the US was minding its own business until the Japanese launched an unprovoked attack at Pearl Harbor, thereby dragging a reluctant US into a world struggle.  In reality, the US under FDR had been deeply involved in Far Eastern affairs for some time, and those policies actually provoked the Japanese attack.

As Oliver Lyttleton, British Minister of Production stated in 1944….”Japan was provoked into attacking America at Pearl Harbor.  It is a travesty to say that America was forced into the War.”

After FDR’s numerous provocations toward Germany without retaliation (while the US was neutral) he switched his focus to Japan and had assistance with Secretary of the Interior Harold Ickes, who stated in October 1941 that “for a long time I have believed that our best entrance into the war would be by way of Japan”.  And as early as January 27th, 1941, US Ambassador to Japan in Tokyo, Joseph C. Grew noted in his diary that...”there is a lot of talk around town to the effect that the Japanese, in case of a break with the US, are planning to go all out in a surprise mass attack on Pearl Harbor.  Of course, I informed our government.”

Even Admiral Ernest J. King wrote a prescient report on 31 March 1941 that predicted a surprise Japanese dawn air attack on Hawaii as the opening of hostilities.  The US had prepared for a Japanese-American conflict since 1906 with “War Plan Orange” which predicted the Philippines as the expected target, attacked by surprise as the Japanese were notorious for.  By early 1940 Claire Chennault, the American airman hired by the Chinese, was urging General Hap Arnold and Roosevelt to provide bombers with which to firebomb Japanese cities in retaliation for their attacks on China.

While we cannot excuse Japan’s aggressiveness in Asia in the 1930’s, our government continually provoked the Japanese by freezing assets in the US, closing the Panama Canal to her shipping and progressively reducing exports to Japan until it became an all-out embargo along with Britain’s.

The Philippines, by 1941 were reinforced to the point of being the strongest US overseas base with 120,000 troops and the Philippine Army had been called into service by FDR.  General MacArthur had 74 medium and heavy bombers along with 175 fighters that included the new B-17’s and P-40E’s with which to attack or defend with.  The mobilization of troops and munitions has always been recognized as preparation for attack and we thus assumed this posture to the Japanese.

We then implied military threats to Tokyo if it did not alter its Asian policies and on 26 November 1941, FDR issued an ultimatum that Japan withdraw all military forces from China and Indochina as well as break its treaty with Germany and Italy.  The day before the 26 November ultimatum was sent , Secretary of War Stimson wrote in his Diary that “the question was how we should maneuver them (the Japanese) into the position of firing the first shot”.  The bait offered was our Pacific fleet.

In 1940, Admiral J.O. Richardson, the commander of the Pacific Fleet flew to Washington to protest FDR’s decision to base the fleet in Hawaii instead of its normal berthing on the US west coast.  His concern was that Pearl Harbor was vulnerable to attack, was difficult to defend against torpedo planes, lacked fuel supplies and dry docks.  Richardson came away from his meeting with FDR “with the impression that, despite his spoken word, the President was fully determined to put the US into the war if Great Britain could hold out until he was reelected.”

Richardson was summarily relieved of command and replaced with Admiral Kimmel, who was still concerned about Pearl Harbor’s vulnerability, but did not challenge FDR.

Also to be considered was the April, 1941 ABD Agreement FDR concluded with the British and Dutch in Indochina that committed US troops to war if the Dutch East Indies were invaded by the Japanese.  Add to this the 1940 $25 million loan and Lend-Lease aid provided to China.  The Dutch and British were of course eager for US forces to protect their Far Eastern colonial empires from the Japanese while their military was busy in a European war.  And FDR’s dilemma was his 1940 election pledge of non-intervention (unless attacked) to the American people and the US Constitution, which allowed only Congress authority to declare war.

One of the most revealing elements in FDR’s beforehand knowledge of Japan’s intentions was our breaking of the Japanese diplomatic and naval operations codes as early as mid-1939. Copies of all deciphered Japanese messages were delivered to Roosevelt and the Secretaries of War, State and Navy, as well as Army Chief of Staff Marshall and Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Harold Stark.

With no deciphering machines in Pearl Harbor, although 3 machines went to Britain, the commanders in Pearl Harbor were left completely dependent upon Washington for information.  It must be understood that with this deciphered information, our government officials could not have been better informed had they had seats in the Japanese war council.

It is in this bare political light that Pearl Harbor should be examined and judged for historical perspective.  Our military should not be a pawn used by presidents to initiate war and this is the basic reason the Founders deliberated extensively on the establishment of a standing army which might be used as such.  As nothing happens in a vacuum and the post-World War One US Neutrality Acts were in place to avoid the political machinations that dragged us into that conflict, FDR’s very steady erosion of US neutrality and secret agreements led to that unnecessary loss of brave American servicemen.   We hopefully have learned from this.

Something to refute the 'horror' of Apartheid.

Thousands of Christian civilians seek refuge at Central African airport admidst Muslim slaughter

Via Cousin John

Internally displaced people gather at bangui's airport, Central African Republic, Friday Dec. 6 2013, as French military helicopters land, a day after gun battles between Seleka soldiers and Christian militias left over 100 dead and scores wounded. To try to put an end to sectarian violence, the UN security council passed a motion allowing French troops to deploy in the country in order to protect civilians and insure security by all necessary means. (AP Photo/Jerome Delay)

Thousands of Christian civilians sought refuge at an airport guarded by French soldiers Friday, fleeing from the mostly Muslim ex-rebels with machetes and guns who rule the country a day after the worst violence to hit the chaotic capital in nine months.

When several French helicopters landed at the airport, people sang with joy as they banged on plastic buckets and waved rags into the air in celebration.

Outside the barbed wire fences of the airport, bodies lay decomposing along the roads in a capital too dangerous for many to collect the corpses. Thursday's clashes left at least 280 dead, according to national radio, and have raised fears that waves of retaliatory attacks could soon follow.

Commander: 'Cowards' pushing women into combat

'I'm talking about smashing heads, wrestling in a death struggle to the ground'

Earlier this year, then-Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey announced they were lifting the ban on women serving in ground combat operations, a move one Army expert and author says is the result of an aggressive feminist agenda and military brass unwilling to stand up to politicians and champion military readiness over political correctness.

“If you look at the chiefs of the services, none of them have direct ground combat, so they really don’t know what we’re talking about here. There’s a radical feminist agenda here, and they never would have been selected by the Obama administration … unless they agreed that they would move forward on these particular agendas,” retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Bob Maginnis, author of “Deadly Consequences: How Cowards Are Pushing Women Into Combat,” told WND.

“They know what the facts are, but they’re cowering with a silence, much like the people on the Hill are cowering because they have a constitutional obligation to stop this, but they’re going ahead with it,” said Maginnis, who quickly points out that bowing to politically correct forces was commonplace in the Clinton and George W. Bush administrations and is not unique to the Obama presidency.

'Nelson Mandela was a radical Marxist'

Nelson Mandela was a radical Marxist and a firm advocate of abortion, pornography, homosexuality and legalizing prostitution, according to a prominent Christian missionary who was summoned to the home of the South African president.

Rev. Peter Hammond, founder of Frontline Fellowship and Africa Christian Nation, has worked for nearly 30 years helping persecuted Christians in Africa. As a result of Hammond’s visit with Mandela – in which the missionary laid hands on the president and prayed for him to see abortion for what it really is, the merciless slaughter of innocent human life – Hammond was subjected to a 13-year audit of his organization.

Judge Orders Colorado Cake Maker to Serve Gay Couples

A baker who refused to make a wedding cake for a same-sex ceremony must serve gay couples despite his religious beliefs or face fines, a judge said Friday.

The order from administrative law judge Robert N. Spencer said Masterpiece Cakeshop in suburban Denver discriminated against a couple “because of their sexual orientation by refusing to sell them a wedding cake for their same-sex marriage.”

The order says the cake-maker must “cease and desist from discriminating” against gay couples. Although the judge did not impose fines in this case, the business will face penalties if it continues to turn away gay couples who want to buy cakes.

Merrill Newman, 85, the U.S. tourist and war veteran who was detained in North Korea for more than a month, was on his way home to California Saturday after the nation deported him.

"I feel good," Newman told reporters at the Beijing airport,  adding with a laugh that the first thing he planned to do was "go home and see my wife."

"I am very glad to be on my way home," said Newman, who was held after he returned to the North six decades after his stint advising South Korean guerrillas still loathed by Pyongyang.

Man says police officer threatened to kill his dogs

Via WiscoDave

 police-bully-reporter-punks

A Kansas City man says he’s been terrified since an encounter with police on Monday evening. He says officers came to his home in southeast Kansas City looking for people he’d never heard of and when he refused to let them inside, things turned ugly.

Eric Crinnian, a lawyer,  heard a loud banging at his door Monday night, he was instantly alarmed since a neighbor’s house was robbed a few weeks ago, so he grabbed a crow-bar.

Crinnian said three police officers were outside his house.

“I open the door a little bit wider and he sees that I have something in my hand, so he pulls his gun, tells me to put down whatever I’ve got and then come out with my hands up, so I do,” Crinnian said.

They wanted to know where two guys were, and Crinnian later found out police believed they violated parole.

“I said, ‘I have no idea who you’re talking about I’ve never heard of these people before,’” he said.
To prove it, he said police asked to search his house, Crinnian refused multiple times.  He said they needed a warrant.

Then he said one police officer started threatening him saying, “If we have to get a warrant, we’re going to come back when you’re not expecting it, we’re going to park in front of your house, where all your neighbors can see, we’re gonna bust in your door with a battering ram, we’re gonna shoot and kill your dogs, who are my family, and then we’re going to ransack your house looking for these people.”

U.S. Military Changes Drone Rules To Make Targeting Of Civilians Easier

Via WiscoDave

http://www.zerohedge.com/sites/default/files/images/user3303/imageroot/2013/12/drone_0.jpg

The drone issue is just another topic in which President Barrack Obama has proven himself to be a world-class liar and master of deception. Despite his claims that drone strikes do little damage to civilian populations, in July we discovered that “of the 746 people killed in drone strikes in Pakistan from 2006-2009, an incredible 20% were civilians and 94 (13% of the total) were children.”
I suppose that number just isn’t good enough, because The Pentagon has decided to change the rules of engagement when it comes to drone strikes, now making it easier to target civilians. From The Washington Times:
The Pentagon has loosened its guidelines on avoiding civilian casualties during drone strikes, modifying instructions from requiring military personnel to “ensure” civilians are not targeted to encouraging service members to “avoid targeting” civilians.
Hey cops, how about you “try to avoid” beating the shit out of people and violating their constitutional rights for no reason. Yeah, because that’ll work.

Rasmussen Reports asked Americans in February 2011 how they viewed then-92-year-old Nelson Mandela as he faced an earlier health crisis. Most Americans held the iconic South African leader who died Thursday in high regard. A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 68% of American Adults shared a favorable opinion of Mandela, with 25% who viewed him Very Favorably. Twenty percent (20%) regarded Mandela unfavorably, but that included just six percent (6%) with a Very Unfavorable opinion. Twelve percent (12%) were undecided.  SC, NC rank 'most courteous,' Ohioans most likely to curse

Americans don’t refer to Southern hospitality for nothing.

It turns out there’s proof those living in Southern states are well mannered, especially those in the Carolinas.

A study by Marchex, a mobile ad technology company, dubs South Carolina as the “Most Courteous.” North Carolina ranks No. 2. Marchex says residents are most likely to say “please” and “thank you.” Maryland, in third place, is the only Northern state in the top five. Louisiana and Georgia rank fourth and fifth, respectively.
