Gut Check, please........

So, I made a noose and hot-branded it with the III.  It is available on the right side of the blog.  I hope people will help support III projects by buying a few and using them at your next 2A rally, Tea Party event, or other public protest - personally I think it speaks better than any sign you could carry at a protest.  (Proceeds go to furthering III projects)

What happened next was very interesting.  Some men got it.  Others, however, immediately began pulling Robespierre and the Reign of Terror out of their arses.  Oh yes, that is very, very interesting.

Let's start at the beginning: Tories were bad.  They are the same breed as those Marxist meddling f*cktards of today who I call Enemies of Liberty, for they not only advocate infringements of your Liberty, but take actions (including voting) to physically infringe your Natural Rights, either directly or via proxy.  They are Bad People.

In America, hanging Enemies of Liberty is a time-honored remedy for handling Bad People.

A fifth grader has admitted of being the mastermind behind hacker attacks that took down government websites during the 2012 Quebec student protests and passing some of the hacked data to the Anonymous group in exchange for video games.

The 12-year-old Canadian boy has pleaded guilty to causing three incidents that paralyzed a number of government websites including that of the Quebec Institute of Public Health, and the Chilean government.

Some sites were out of service for as long as two days, the Toronto Sun reports, while thousands of students were rallying against tuition fee hikes in Quebec in 2012, clashing with police and disturbing public order.

Pedophilia Now Classified As A Sexual Orientation

Via LH

 Pedophile Gay Rights (revised)

People can classify themselves as heterosexual, homosexual, asexual, metrosexual. There are endless sexual orientations under the sun, and now, pedophilia can be added to the list.

In the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM V), the American Psychological Association (APA) drew a very distinct line between pedophilia and pedophilic disorder. Pedophilia refers to a sexual orientation or profession of sexual preference devoid of consummation, whereas pedophilic disorder is defined as a compulsion and is used in reference to individuals who act on their sexuality.

APA’s decision has given rise to numerous pedophilia-advocacy groups, the chief of them being B4U-ACT, a non-profit grassroots organization based in Maryland. Created in 2003 primarily as a means for “minor-attracted persons” to be open about their sexual preferences in a supportive atmosphere, B4U-ACT is now widening the scope of their organization.

According to spokesperson and registered sex offender Paul Christiano, the pedophilia-advocacy group is “working towards de-stigmatizing the mental health community.” Christiano explained that negative societal attitudes towards minor-attracted persons “trickle down to policy-making and the mental health community.”

HSLDA Action Alert: enate to hold hearing on UN Disabilities Treaty on November 5—urgent calls needed!

Dear HSLDA Members and Friends,

Last year, your grassroots activism defeated the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). But this treaty has returned. We have been told that the Senate Foreign Relations Committee will hold a new hearing on the treaty on Tuesday, November 5. We believe that this hearing marks the start of an aggressive push to ratify this dangerous UN treaty.

The CRPD surrenders U.S. sovereignty to unelected UN bureaucrats and will threaten parental care of children with disabilities. Our nation already has laws to protect Americans with disabilities. This treaty is unnecessary and will hurt families by giving bureaucrats the power to decide what is in the best interests of a child with disabilities, not the child’s parents.

All 100 U.S. Senators, and especially the Senators on the Foreign Relations Committee, need to hear loud and clear that the United States must not surrender our freedom to the United Nations.

The following Senators are on the Foreign Relations Committee:

Syrian Electronic Army Hacks Obama’s Twitter Account - Sends Video to 38 Million** Followers

On Saturday the Syrian Electronic Army successfully hacked Barack Obama's Twitter account, with over 38 million** followers, and sent what seemed to be a standard Obama message:

However, anyone who clicked the link did not find a weekly address from Barack Obama, but rather the following video which documents the atrocities of the Obama-backed Syrian Rebels. These are the people that Barack Obama, John Kerry, John McCain and many others would have us support.

Warning!!! There are extremely graphic images throughout this video. There is a section that is recommended to only be viewed by 18 and over, as well as a section to be viewed by 21 and older. This video contains things like beheadings, bombings, dead bodies, bodies thrown from rooftops, etc.

This is the truth that the Syrian people want the world to see. On Saturday the Syrian Electronic Army put this video in front of a number of people. The twitter status has been pulled but hopefully it made a difference. Hopefully a good number of people saw the video and it has caused them to think about who their President is supporting.

Obamacare Could Pit Provisions to Safeguard Gun Owners’ Rights Against ‘Executive Order 16′

 download

The National Rifle Association and Gun Owners of America were successful in ensuring the Affordable Care Act prohibits creation of a firearms database and stops doctors from disclosing or collecting information relating to a patient’s firearms. However, Obamacare contains “sneaky backdoor” provisions that could jeopardize gun ownership for nearly 550,000 Americans (including veterans arbitrarily diagnosed with PTSD), according to a recent Townhall.com blog.

NC: Blithering Idiot: Editorial: It's a waste to remove park signs banning guns in Raleigh

 http://media2.newsobserver.com/smedia/2013/10/24/19/05/1ebdM6.AuSt.156.jpeg

Oh, for goodness’ sake. That’s the likely feeling of most Raleigh residents about an utterly ridiculous high-pressure campaign on the part of pro-gun-rights advocates to get the city to remove signs at some parks that announce a prohibition on weapons.

These advocates note that state lawmakers, in one of many foolish moments, passed a law requiring cities to allow guns on playgrounds and in other public areas. That law is a monument to nothing more than the hard-line ideology of right-wing Republicans and to their weakness when it comes to dealing with the pro-gun crowd.

A “Liberal” Bigot’s Guide to Hating the South

Via SHNV

http://www.rightwingwatch.org/sites/default/files/ObamaUSSRFlag.jpg

A CNN travel editor named Chuck Thompson has established himself as a one-man hate group in writing a short book entitled Better Off Without ‘Em: A Northern Manifesto for Southern Secession.”  He advertised his book in an October 20 article in Salon entitled “Just Secede Already.”  Oh, if only we could.
Hatred of and bigotry toward Southerners is of course nothing new.  The New England “Yankees” of the early nineteenth century thought of themselves as God’s chosen people and deplored the immigration into the country of lesser humans from parts of Europe other than their own little section of the British Isles – especially the loathsome Catholic immigrants from Germany, Ireland, and Italy  (See Albion’s Seed by David Hackett Fisher).

The early nineteenth-century New England descendants of the Puritans so hated Jefferson’s Louisiana Purchase, and its prospects for accommodating masses of God’s un-chosen people, that they spent a decade plotting secession.  This plot culminated in the 1814 Hartford Secession Convention at which the New England Federalists issued severe criticisms of government, but decided that their political and economic fortunes would be best served by undermining the government of the founders from within rather than seceding.  Their political descendants (The Whig and Republican parties of that century) succeeded beyond their wildest dreams in creating a centralized, bureaucratic empire that would rival the British and Spanish empires.

Thompson falsifies history when he writes in his Salon article that the idea of secession originated with “traitorous Southerners” and is “part of the soiled fabric that stretches from John C. Calhoun” and the South Carolina Nullification Ordinance of 1832 (which nullified the “Tariff of Abominations”).

Rude Awakening: Californians 'Shocked' by Premium Increases, Dropped Coverage

Barack Obama waltzed to victory in California last year, trampling Mitt Romney by 21 percentage points. For many middle class families in the Golden State, Obamacare's chicken are coming home to roost. A few weeks back, we highlighted some priceless quotes from Bay Area residents who are reassessing their views on the president's signature law. One man said he'd been "laughing" at Republicans...until his saw his new premiums. Another offered this pitch-perfect distillation of the tension between feel-good liberalism and economic reality: "Of course, I want people to have health care. I just didn't realize I would be the one who was going to pay for it personally." The law's price and access tremors continue to be felt up and down America's most populous state.

The Los Angeles Times describes the "sticker shock" middle class Californians are grappling with:

"If you love your liberty, Virginia, get on your phone, get in your car, and get out the vote." (For Cuccinelli)

 http://www.newsmax.com/App_Themes/NewsmaxNew/Images/specialPages/cuccinelli/i8.jpg

“He is clearly going to be a gun-grabber.”

Ken Cuccinelli is entirely right, of course.

Terry McAuliffe would love nothing more than the NY SAFE Act brought to Virginia. McAuliffe would be thrilled to see the state’s shooting sports restricted and regulated to death, and hte citizenry disarmed. He is the first gubernatorial candidate in Virginia history to be proudly running on an openly-anti-gun platform.

Virginia’s gun owners and freedom lovers have a very clear option in the upcoming election. They can either all band together and strategically vote for Cuccinelli in hopes that Democrats, Republicans, and Libertarians in Virginia can stage a stunning upset, or they can sit at home, or split their vote between Cuccinelli and Savaris, and give McAuliffe an easy victory.

Common Core Teaches Second Graders to be Good Union Comrades

Aside from the obvious objections to allowing the creators of Healthcare.gov get more involved in the education of America’s youth, a new reason to resist the creepily altruistic “Common Core” curriculum has surfaced. New Common Core teaching materials instruct second graders that land owners are intrinsically evil, that business owners are inherently greedy, and Saul Alinsky radicals are the saviors of the everyman.

(Besides – and I know this should seem pretty obvious – do you really want the architects of a 17 trillion dollar debt teaching our kids things like basic math?)

Plot thickens: Mystery ObamaCare covergirl erased from website

 http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/dam/assets/131021183200-tsr-pkg-moos-mystery-obamacare-girl-00021110-horizontal-gallery.jpg

"Congrats, vapidly smiling http://Healthcare.gov splash page stock photo girl! You're now the most despised face on planet Earth," tweeted David Burge, of the blog IowaHawk.

The mystery of the ObamaCare covergirl took yet another strange turn over the weekend, when her smiling face was replaced by a far less intriguing quartet of icons.

The smiling brunette touched off a frenzied hunt, especially after White House officials refused to divulge her name. As frustration with the beleaguered Healthcare.gov website mounted, she became known on the Internet as “Glitch Girl.”

Sometime on Sunday, her visage was replaced by the helpful icons, which show the four ways people can learn about President Obama’s signature health law – by talking on the phone, going to the website (that they are presumably already on), writing a letter or chatting with friends.

For now, the ObamaCare covergirl, whose identity was sought in vain by dozens of media outlets, remains a secret. It’s not clear why the site was stripped of a human face, but it is possible misguided vitriol on the web prompted the move for her own protection – whoever she is. Tweets, digitally-altered copycat sites and blogposts were becoming downright cruel toward a woman who may have simply long ago signed a release that allowed her to become the new face of futility.

Oregon School Board: Teachers with Concealed Licenses Can Carry in Classrooms

The St. Helens School Board in Oregon lifted a ban that had prevented teachers with concealed carry permits from carrying their guns on campus.

School board chairman Marshall Porter said, "The current law in Oregon allows for anyone to concealed carry on school grounds. To exclude our staff seems like they're being punished. They should have a right to protect themselves if they choose."

Photo: Checkpoint cops point guns at motorists

 Where is Mayberry?

Four law-enforcement officers were wounded Friday in a suburb of Sacramento, Calif., during an attempt to take a wanted gang member into custody.

The shooting occurred in Roseville, a suburb about 20 miles northeast of the state capital.

Helicopters circled overhead and armored vehicles and other police cars flocked to the area following an initial report that a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent had been shot.

A sporadic gun battle lasted into the night and the commotion snarled traffic for hours. Police responded by setting up a checkpoint and pointing guns at motorists, as this Associated Press photo shows.

I suppose it’s still possible that some people haven’t heard this about me, because God knows I repeat it often enough: when I was five years old, I saw the USAF Thunderbirds flying F-100 Super Sabers at Kindley Air Force Base in Bermuda; from that moment I spent twelve years preparing to enter the United States Air Force Academy, and have been in love with flying ever since.

During the years between that first overhead flash of silver, red, white and blue, and this exact moment – right now – I have wanted to be a fighter pilot. I studied military history, weapon systems, strategy and tactics, and learned by heart every piece of hardware in our inventory, and the Soviet inventory, as well.

Not long ago, the man who made my career possible – Glenn Reynolds, aka The Blogfather, aka Instapundit, wrote a simple, throw-away sentence that went through my forehead like a diamond bullet. It fundamentally changed the way I see things, and like a diamond bullet through the forehead – it hurt.

Glenn was talking about the pummeling the GOP was taking in the polls during and after the latest “government shutdown,” which was in fact caused by President Obama but which was reported in the press – universally – as being the fault of the Republicans. He wrote:
The GOP has to deal with the problem posed by a hostile media. It’s like trying to mount an invasion when the enemy has air superiority.

Former Marine attorneys call for congressional inquiry into actions of commandant

Some 27 former Marine Corps and Navy officers and lawyers, including a general officer, sent a letter to the leaders of the Senate and House Armed Services committees Tuesday, asking for a congressional inquiry into allegations of unlawful command influence centering on Marine Corps Commandant Gen. Jim Amos and his senior legal advisers.

The letter cites legal documentation alleging Amos deprived accused Marines of due process, made misleading statements under oath, engaged in abuse of the legal discovery process to hide evidence, and worked to tarnish the reputation of a Marine Corps whistleblower who came forward to expose the unethical activities of Marine leadership.

“Our country is entitled to trust her Marines completely, and that trust starts first and foremost with the Commandant himself,” the signers wrote.

Middle-schooler punished for refusing to take off his ‘God, guns and country’ shirt

 http://eagnews.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Makers-militia-2.jpg

A Texas middle-schooler was sentenced to “solitary confinement” after school officials took offense to his t-shirt, asked him to change it, and he refused.

Middle schooler punishedChristian Davidson wore a shirt designed by his father’s clothing company to Spring Hill Middle School this week, which depicted an eagle emblem on the front, a Bible verse on the back, and the words “God, Guns and Country” on the left sleeve, the Blaze reports.
