"Communists In Drag"

Via Daily Timewaster

http://fromthetrenchesworldreport.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/obama-is-a-communist-kgb-agent-300x219.jpg

I was born at the beginning of the Second World War into a family of high school teachers who were members of the Communist Party, and therefore were actually part of a vast conspiracy dedicated to the destruction of this country, although they would never have looked at it that way, and so-called liberals would be the first to deny it.

In those days, the schools were old fashioned enough that my parents did not use their classrooms to indoctrinate students as tens of thousands of university professors and even more K-12 teachers regularly do today. It is also an unhappy but hugely important fact that the conspiracy to which my parents belonged has steadily migrated into the heart of the Democratic Party until it now occupies the Oval Office in the person of our president, Barack Obama, and his closest advisors.

The president, his chief operative Valerie Jarrett and his chief political strategist David Axelrod all came out of the same Communist left and the same radical new left as I did, and all have remained heart and soul a part of it. As someone who turned his back on that destructive movement, I can say with confidence that they have not. If a person belongs to an organization or is the supporter of an idea that they come to see as destructive or evil, the first thing they will want to do when they leave is to warn others against it, to warn them of the dangers it represents.

If a person does not do this – that tells me that he or she hasn’t left the destructive movement or abandoned the pernicious idea but has just put another face on them. Instead of calling themselves communists or socialists they call themselves liberals and progressives. This camouflage is very old. I never once heard my parents and their party friends refer to themselves as Communists. They were progressives – and registered Democrats.

JPAC admits to phony ceremonies honoring ‘returning’ remains

Via Daily Timewaster

The Department of Defense unit charged with recovering servicemembers’ remains abroad has been holding phony “arrival ceremonies” for seven years, with an honor guard carrying flag-draped coffins off of a cargo plane as though they held the remains returning that day from old battlefields.

The Pentagon acknowledged Wednesday that no honored dead were in fact arriving, and that the planes used in the ceremonies often couldn’t even fly, and were towed into position. The story was first reported on nbcnews.com.

NC: Railey says some journalists do know about guns

 Shot

Many gun-control opponents are quick to call members of the press naive, at best, about guns. Yes, some reporters are.

But the cartoon that runs with this column goes too far. Many, if not most, of us journalists know the difference between an assault rifle and a handgun. And a whole lot more.

I love guns. I am the proud owner of several shotguns and a .22-caliber rifle. I’d have more guns if I could. There’s an old joke: How many guns do you need? One more.

Other newspapermen share my feelings, including Scott Sexton, the Journal’s metro columnist.

I love talking guns with him and others. I love to talk barrel lengths, chokes, rifling, bullet grain sizes, and shotgun shell-pellet sizes (from birdshot to buckshot). I can tell you how short a shotgun barrel can be legally sawed off (18 inches; I had one done), and I know the difference between semi-automatic rifles (legal) and fully automatic ones (illegal unless you get a special federal permit).

I can talk about how a heavier shotgun has a lesser recoil shock, or kick, than a lighter one, and how rubber recoil pads can relieve the pain.

The Un-Civil War: BLACKS vs NIGGERS

 http://i43.tower.com/images/mm123858242/un-civil-war-blacks-vs-niggers-confronting-subculture-taleeb-starkes-paperback-cover-art.jpg

A disgusted Black man boldly confronts the dysfunctional and criminal subculture (along with their apologists) that exists within the African-American community. This race-realist endeavor exposes many inconvenient truths and will certainly become a catalyst for candid conversation.

Flooded with statistics, headlines, pictures and other evidence, this book is not simply an anecdotal tale of a miserable, inner-city co-existence... it’s a war report.

War for Protective Tariffs, Income Taxes and Astonishing Profits

 John Jacob Astor III.jpg
 John Jacob Astor III

The War Between the States commenced by Lincoln immediately presented he and his administration with the problem of a conflict the United States could not afford.  In April 1861, federal spending was only about $172,000 a day, raised by tariffs and land sales.  By the end of July 1861, Lincoln had caused this to increase to $1 million, and by the end of December it was up to $1.5 million per day.  Also in December 1861 Northern banks had to stop paying their debts in gold, with the federal government doing the same shortly after and resorting to printing money.  The country had gone off the gold standard, Wall Street was in a panic, and Lincoln would lament, “The bottom is out of the tub, what shall I do?”

War for Protective Tariffs, Income Taxes and Astonishing Profits

“By May 1864 [financier Jay] Cooke was selling [Northern] war bonds so successfully that he was actually raising money as fast as the War Department could spend it, no mean feat for that was about $2 million a day at this point. Altogether, the North raised fully two-thirds of its revenues by selling bonds. If Abraham Lincoln must always be given the credit for saving the Union, there is also no doubt that the national debt was one of the most powerful tools at his disposal for forging victory.

Although the [Northern] people were willing to endure very high taxes during the war, peacetime was another matter altogether. Immediately after the war the cry for repeal of the wartime taxes became insistent. With military expenses quickly dropping, the problem, was what taxes to cut. American industrialists, who had prospered greatly thanks to wartime demand and wartime high tariffs, naturally did not want the tariffs cut.  Because the Civil War had broken the political power of the South, the center of opposition to the tariff, they got their way.

The tariff was kept at rates far above the government’s need for revenue as the North industrialized at a furious pace in the last three decades of the nineteenth century and became the greatest – and most efficient – industrial power in the world.  Of course, no matter how large, efficient, and mature these industries became, they continued to demand [tariff] protection, and, thanks to their wealth and political power, get it.

As Professor William Graham Sumner of Yale explained as early as 1885, “The longer they live, the bigger babies they are.”  It was only after the bitter dispute between Andrew Carnegie and Henry Clay Frick caused the astonishing profits of the privately held – and highly protected – Carnegie Steel Company to become public knowledge, in 1899, that the political coalition behind high tariffs began to crack.

Before the Civil War there had been little advocacy of an income tax in this country, at least at the federal level, although by the war six States had implemented such taxes for their own revenue purposes. But once a federal income tax was in place, thanks to the Civil War, it quickly acquired advocates, as political programs always do.

These advocates pushed the idea relentlessly . . . Republican Senator John Sherman….said during a debate on renewing the income tax in 1872, that “here we have in New York Mr. Astor with an income of millions derived from real estate . . . and we have along side of him a poor man receiving $1000 a year. [The law] is altogether against the poor man….yet we are afraid to tax Mr. Astor. Is there any justice in it?  Why, sir, the income tax is the only one that tends to equalize these burdens between the rich and the poor.”

'Barrycades' torn down, dumped at White House

'Obama, you can't call on the SEALs because the SEALs are already there'

Thousands of Americans have taken the government shutdown into their own hands, literally, as they stormed into the nation’s capital, tearing down barricades blocking off the World War II Memorial on the National Mall Sunday morning.

“Barrycades are down,” tweeted Sherry Lucas, a reference to President Barack Obama’s childhood nickname of Barry.

Many of the barricades were then hand-carried by the protesters and dumped in front of the White House.

Keystone Pipeline Would Make OPEC 'Obsolete'

 http://www.wortfm.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/keystone-pipeline.jpg

The Keystone XL oil pipeline would eliminate the United States' dependence on OPEC, says energy entrepreneur T. Boone Pickens.

"Canadians say they have 250 billion barrels [of oil]. That's exactly what the Saudis claim they have," he tells CNBC. "You're sitting there with the same amount of oil available to the United States from Canada . . . as [from] Saudi Arabia."

Meanwhile, the U.S. Navy protects the Strait of Hormuz so that 17 million barrels of oil travels through it a day, Pickens explains. Yet the United States only gets 10 percent of that supply, with much of the rest going to Europe and China.

"You could make them [OPEC] obsolete two or three different ways, and that [Keystone] is one of them."

A 35-year-old New Hempstead man accused of raping an underage female acquaintance was shot dead in Orange County on Friday. A neighbor has been charged with murder.

Norris Acosta-Sanchez, who had been on the run from Ramapo police since July when a warrant was issued for his arrest, was killed at 115 Old Plank Road, Sparrowbush. David Carlson, 42, who told police he was confronted on his property by Acosta-Sanchez, is accused of killing him, police said.
Carlson, who carried a 12-gauge shotgun, told Acosta-Sanchez that he was going to escort him to a neighbor’s house, where police would be called, officials said.

But at some point, Carlson fired two shots that missed Acosta-Sanchez and then two additional shots that proved fatal, police said.

Mark Kelly and his ARS vow to go head-to-head against the NRA in 2014

RT gabrielle giffords mark kelly RTR3ENSN jt 131012 16x9 608 Gabby Giffords Gun Control Group Hopes to Go Head to Head With NRA in 2014

For someone who was once an astronaut, he’s really bad at math.
Former astronaut Mark Kelly started the anti-gun group Americans for Responsible Solutions ten months ago, when, while visiting China, he learned of the deaths of 21 children in Newtown, Conn.
It was almost two years after his wife — former Rep. Gabby Giffords — had been shot.
Ten months after Newtown, the group continues to grow and has raised over $11 million from 130,000 donors, Kelly told ABC News on Friday.
Now, Kelly, Giffords and their team want to turn those funds toward the 2014 midterm elections.
“We would like to spend in the 2014 elections what the NRA spent in 2012,” he said.
The National Rifle Association spent roughly $19 million during the 2012 election cycle, and Kelly said he was confident his group can match that.
“We’ve got the resources to be effective for the 2014 elections,” he said.
No Mark, you don’t.

Just 51,000 people completed Obamacare applications during the website's first week, out of tens of millions of Americans in 36 states

 http://www.marfdrat.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/Obamacare-Chart.jpg

Obamacare's main signup engine attracted just 6,200 new customers on its launch day and 51,000 after the first week

At the same rate, the 6-month open enrollment period would sign up just 2 million Americans, including 14 states and D.C., which have their own insurance exchanges

The Congressional Budget Office says Obamacare needs at least 7 million customers to stay afloat financially

Just 51,000 people completed Obamacare applications during the first week the Healthcare.gov website was online, according to two sources inside the Department of Health and Human Services who gave MailOnline an exclusive look at the earliest enrollment numbers.

The career civil servants, who process data inside the agency, confirmed independently that just 6,200 Americans applied for health insurance through the problem-plagued website on October 1, the day it first opened to the public.

Neither HHS nor the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services would comment on the record about the numbers. Enroll America, on Obama administration-related organization that aims to help Americans sign up, only replied to a request for information a day after this article was first published.

'I don’t have any hard numbers beyond what HHS and the state-based exchanges have released,' said spokesman Justin Nisly, who insisted that Americans have been 'enthusiastic' and 'grateful' for Obamacare.

The White House did not respond to emails seeking comment.

But several administration officials have claimed this month that they didn't have access to the kinds of raw figures MailOnline obtained from the people who work for them. And the anemic totals suggest a far lower level of interest in coverage through the Affordable Care Act than the Obama administration has hoped to see.

Synopsis of Computer Glitch Blamed For Nationwide EBT System Shutdown on Saturday

On 12 OCT 2013, reports began appearing around 0900 EDT on news and social media of EBT cards not being active or unresponsive nationwide. By 1400 EDT, a Boston affiliate of CBS News was contacted by spokespeople from Xerox Corporation, as well as spokespeople from USDA. They claimed that the problem stemmed from a “computer glitch”, involved with “disaster recovery” training, and that the outage had nothing at all to do with the current government shutdown.

ANALYSIS:

An analysis of the states involved in the EBT blackout is revealed by this map:

ebt outage.jpg

Note that there is little contiguous regional effect. A political and demographics analysis of the states involved reveals the large Southern belt of states all went for Romney in the 2012 election cycle; the other states voted for Obama. Furthermore, each of the states involved have significant black and/or underclass urban populations.

It is also significant to note that the traffic on social media from the affected areas revealed two highlights: one, there were numerous threats and warnings given as to the imminent start of rioting; and the utter lack of reports of violence associated with this event.

Consultation with a network analyst revealed this observation:
I am a computer developer by trade. I am here to assure you that no upgrades, no backups, no 'drills', no 'testing' like this happens on active-users-on-system time. These sort of things occur only on off-hours. All the explanations offered so far DO NOT MAKE ANY SENSE to this computer developer with over 20 years in the field.
Furthermore, such a large system is NOT centralized. Have you ever heard of an entire large portion of a banking system going down? An entire branch of a phone system? No, you have not. That is because any large and complex system has many different branches or nodes of operability. The concept that one mistake brings it all down -- or even a lot of it -- is impossible.
This is clearly a deliberate act, even looking at it from a purely technical basis.
With the increasing tension, political pressure, and high-profile incidents resulting from the government shutdown, as well as the implementation of the ACA, the mood among the nation’s citizenry is volatile to say the least. Taken in parallel with the dramatic rise in racially-motivated attacks by blacks against whites, tension is resting upon a knife’s edge.

It is considered an understood truth that, should the distribution of goods and services to the urban areas be interrupted, mass rioting and societal upheaval would occur, followed in every scenario by the declaration of martial law by the regime. Numerous events of dubious origin and cause, up to and including “false-flag” events, observed over the past five years have further destabilized the veneer of civility across the nation.

CONCLUSIONS:

1. It is imperative to elements of the liberty movement to understand the effects of this event. While the mechanics of the event (the shutting down of welfare payments to urban areas) were quickly resolved and the population placated, the fact that the event occurred at all, and given the questionable response by authorities when queried, leads to speculation that this was a staged event, to judge reactions and the scope of control of the situation.

2. It is recommended that all elements of the liberty movement remain watchful and maintain readiness, should a subsequent event of this type occur. There is virtually no guarantee that the subject population will repeat their complacent response, should there be a longer, prolonged disruption of government largesse.

3. Further recommend that all concerned parties review their local regions and areas of interest, to identify potential threat areas which may develop into impassable terrain following a societal upheaval of this nature.
