1. Be an organ donor. Visit https://www.facebook.com/DonateLife/app_412475528777137 and sign up.
2. Donate Blood. Visit https://www.facebook.com/RedCrossBlood/app_306148296138599 and schedule an appointment at a location near you.
3. Like Evie's page at www.facebook.com/kidneyforevie
4. Share her facebook page with your friends & invite them to like it too.
5. Post encouraging comments on her facebook page.
6. If you have type O (+/-) blood and are considering being tested as a suitable match to donate a Kidney for Evie read http://www.unos.org/docs/Living_Donation.pdf to learn more about what it entails -- send Evie a private message on Facebook and we'll get you in touch with the Living Donor Coordinator at the hospital to start the process.
7. If you have some other blood type, and wish you could help Evie, consider becoming an altruistic donor (donating a kidney, or other lifesaving organ/tissue to a complete stranger.) You can call 1-888-894-6361 to get contact information for transplant centers in your area so that you can initiate the testing process.
8. Volunteers are needed to help plan and implement fundraising activities. Join the Children's Organ Transplant Association (COTA) for Evie W fundraising team! Help us raise funds for COTA to offset major medical expenses for kids like Evie. You can be located anywhere in the United States and be integrated with Evie's team, and COTA will provide all the necessary tools and training. Send an email to kidneyforevie@gmail.com to join us today! Include your current contact information, including name, phone number, and email address so that our primary community coordinator can reach you and get the ball rolling.
9. Make a donation to COTA in honor of Evie at http://cota.donorpages.com/PatientOnlineDonation/COTAforEvieW/ 100% of all proceeds raised from fundraising will go to COTA to assist with transplant-related medical expenses. Since COTA is a well established 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, all donations are tax deductible. You can also donate funds to COTA in honor of Evie via your local United Way Campaign or if you're a federal employee, through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Visit http://cota.org/give/workplace_giving.php for details. While there check whether your workplace has a gift matching program -- your gift's impact may be doubled or tripled!
10. Share this list with your friends every way you can. :-) How many likes can Evie get?

Evie has end stage kidney failure.
