Dan was not only a gifted lyricist, brilliant pianist/guitarist, visual artist, he was my friend. In the early years we played a lot of the same venues, worked out of the same talent agency. and if I had been smart enough to listen to more of his advice, I suspect I would be a rich man today. His death left a hole in the hearts of countless fans, and in the hearts of friends as well. For those not familiar with his music you-tube and groove-shark are just a mash of the mouse away. There is no such thing as a bad Dan Fogelberg album. He is one of the finest ever to come out of this "stinken land of lincoln"
