A man who opened fire at a Huntington bar in the early morning hours Friday was shot and killed by a bouncer, but not before wounding three people, according to the Huntington Police Department.
The deceased has been identified as Antonio Devon Brown, 25, of Huntington.
The shooting occurred at Shoop’s Bar in the 1200 block of 4th Avenue just before 3 a.m.
HPD Lt. John Williams conducted a brief press conference in the department lobby at 7 a.m.
Williams said the shooter was involved in an altercation with a woman, before being escorted out of the bar.
At that point, the man turned, drew a pistol and began firing inside the main area of the bar.
