  1. The Last pic must be the outer banks, I find myself there every spring, no matter what. this must be the most beautiful place on God's Green Earth!

    1. Yes, the lower Outer Banks. That's the Bogue Pier In Emerald Isle. We have a place across the bridge in Cape Carteret. Let me know the next time you come.

  2. We haven't scheduled yet but we always go either last two weeks of April or the first 2 weeks of May. It would my pleasure to meet you! We always stay in Avon but was considering Ocracoke Island next year. I believe your blog is the best historical history of the Grand ole South before the damn Yankees (of which I am ashamed to say I would happen to be)messed it all up.

    1. Ocracoke is nice. You might want to check out Emerald Isle also as the beaches are beautiful. We have our Spring PATCON the first weekend in May if y'all are interested and thanks for the kind words.

  3. I'm always looking for any excuse to come to the beach, the fall NC Patcon sounds so cool, but unfortunately sept, oct nov. are really bad for me this year, but the spring one is really in my sights. This is something I would love! we will definitely plan around this. Sounds great, thanks for the info.
    will keep you posted.
