You are invited to enjoy the quaint charm of historic Newberry as we dance the old fashioned dances of the 1860s! Hosted by the Southern Victorian Society at the lovely old Community Hall, centrally located in downtown Newberry. Light refreshments will be provided at the dance and there are a number of nearby restaurants where you can enjoy supper before the event.

timeless dance
Join us for a Free Dance Practice at 1 pm on Saturday, June 22 at the Community Hall. Heather & Raquelle Sheen of Timeless Dance will be our dance callers. All dances will be explained and called, so no experience is required.

We have added a page to our website with the tentative Dance List for the evening - with all of the steps explained!

We've included videos as well to help those who wish to practice ahead of time.

Attire is 1860s period formal, or modest modern formal. We request that there be no high heels, abrasive soles, or heel plates as the Community Hall still has its original hardwood floor.

Tickets

You much be pre-registered to attend.

Registration is $20 per person.

Registration Deadline is June 17 or when all tickets are sold.

Register at our website via check or credit card.
