Major General William Mahone's Presentation Sword

Received from the grateful citizenry of Petersburg, Virginia for saving their city during the six-month siege. 

 General Mahone's Presentation Sword


Held in Gettysburg, PA in conjunction with the Gettysburg Civil War Show, June 2007, the auction gallery sold 744 lots for a grand total of $6.5 million dollars.

The presentation sword of Major General William Mahone sold for $388,375.
