The UNSKEWED Projection of the 2012 Presidential Race

Via Bill

And we could have had..........

The QStarNews projection of the 2012 presidential race sees Mitt Romney being elected the next president of the United States with 53.63 percent of the popular vote and 359 electoral votes to President Obama's 45.92 percent and 179 electoral votes.

QStarNews predicts the turnout nationally will includes 34.8 percent Republicans, 35.2 percent Democrats, and 30.0 percent independents. QStarNews predicts turnout will rise by about four percent, or a total of about 130,955,000 voters including about 600,000 for third party candidates and the rest going to Romney and Obama.

Methodology: For EACH state, all of the following information was considered: results from the last four elections averaged together, recent political trends in that state (such as Republicans winning control of both houses of the state legislature in 2010 in Maine and New Hampshire), recent trends in demographic makeup that affect the politics of the state (such as the growth of Hispanics in Colorado causing the Democratic Party to become more competitive), and the degree to which one or both of the major campaigns are targeting that state, such as both campaigns making Ohio the most important state and campaigning there more than any other state, and any other relevant political factors and data such as public polls from a variety of polling firms, as well as data from the QStarNews polls of the presidential race. From all of this information a percentage breakdown of each state is calculated between Romney and Obama. This projection is expected to be spot-on accurate for predicting the outcome in all 50 states and the District of Columbia and close to the actual popular vote.

Perhaps some of the most surprising states to some will be the following:

Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You

TINA TURNER - PROUD MARY(LIVE 1982)

Tina Turner, Janis Joplin, Elvis, Jimi Hendrix.........Today's music entertainers can't hold a candle to any of them.......Tina and the rest are from a time when only the best made it big. There's no lip-syncing here, just a great singer with an uninhibited delivery.

Another Tyrant Lincoln Lover Surfaces

Brock,

The author of this article would not post my comment:

How Would Lincoln Vote in the 2012 Election?

What a surprise.

David D

=======================

Well then, I'll gladly do so.

=======================

Rev Bresciani

I disagree with your premise completely. Both men were dividers and your research is faulty. Very disappointing that Canada Free Press would post this article.

David DeGerolamo

=======================

As stated, school children can uncover this history which is now far too well established to be changed by a single opinion. But that is the nature of un-altered history it doesn't care what we think.

Rev Bresciani

=======================

Rev. Bresciani,

I was raised in Pennsylvania and was taught this history as a child. It was not until I started looking further four years ago that I understood that the victors write history in this case. Have you read the Emancipation Proclamation and its scope? The Civil War was an economic war as are most wars. The Congressional Bell (later became the Congressional Record) stated the reason Lincoln gave for his illegal actions. The record was revised after the war was over to make slavery the justification for over 600,000 deaths.

The history taught in school is written by the victors. What I did not learn in school:

Sherman would shoot innocent women and children to keep people in line.

The port of Wilmington, NC was blockaded by Lincoln while North Carolina was part of the     union.

North Carolina was the last state to secede. They voted to stay in the union. It was not until ordered by Lincoln to raise an army to attack South Carolina that the state's legislature voted to secede. It is illegal to attack another sovereign nation without justification under the Constitution.

Reconstruction Acts were about to be overturned by the Supreme Court when the Radical Republicans passed a law stating that the court could not rule on this law: ex parte McCardle

The 14th amendment was passed illegally through coercion. Bringing this to light would eliminate abortion throughout the country.

But as the list is longer, only people who seek the truth will actually open their minds. I believe that slavery in any form is an affront on our natural rights under the Lord. I believe that our government's debt has enslaved this country and the people. I also believe that we were never meant to understand
God's plan unless He wants us to understand parts when we need to grow spiritually. As Jesus said in Luke 12:

Not Peace but Division

49 “I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! 50 But I have a baptism to undergo, and what constraint I am under until it is completed! 51 Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. 52 From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. 53 They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”

Will history be revised to tell the truth? Doubtful. Our culture, society and churches are more concerned with principalities than righteousness, truth and Sacred honor. But that should not be a reason for men of consciousness to stop seeking truth.

Sincerely,

David DeGerolamo

Texas Attorney General Abbott Tells International Election Observers to Abide by Texas Election Laws

 Via Cousin Bill

Greg Abbott

Elections and election observation are regulated by state law. The Texas Election Code governs anyone who participates in Texas elections—including representatives of the OSCE. The OSCE’s representatives are not authorized by Texas law to enter a polling place. It may be a criminal offense for OSCE’s representatives to maintain a presence within 100 feet of a polling place’s entrance. Failure to comply with these requirements could subject the OSCE’s representatives to criminal prosecution for violating state law.

Family apologizes after Louisiana woman lied about KKK setting her on fire

Sharmeka Moffitt suffered burns to more than 60 percent of her body after setting herself on fire, according to the police.

Forensic evidence indicates that a 20-year woman suffering from extensive burns set herself on fire then invented a story about being doused in flammable liquid by three men who she said also wrote the initials KKK and a racial slur on her car, state police said Tuesday.

On Sunday at 8 p.m., Sharmeka Moffitt called 911 from a walking trail in Winnsboro and told authorities she had been doused in flammable liquid by three men wearing white hoodies. She suffered extensive burns on more than half her body and was taken to LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport for treatment.

After two days of investigating the case, authorities said Tuesday that the forensic evidence indicates Moffitt set herself on fire.

"The evidence does not support the statement that she was attacked by three males," said Louisiana State Police spokeswoman Lt. Julie Lewis.

Lewis said Moffitt's fingerprints were found on a lighter and lighter fluid recovered from the scene. Investigators also believe Moffitt used toothpaste to draw the KKK initials and racial slur on her vehicle. DNA evidence also points to Moffitt, she said.

We have seen that the Southern plantation system which made the South such a prosperous land and shaped its culture and social order developed in the Caribbean region and before that in the eastern Atlantic. We have also seen how in both of these areas the initial mixed labour model of employing indentured European servants, White slaves, free White workers, American Indian slaves and African slaves eventually gave way to complete reliance on African slave labour. Most recently, we have touched on White demographic failure in the Caribbean region (due to a very high mortality rate) and the impact this had socially and politically on the region. Greatly outnumbered Whites in the Caribbean developed a ‘garrison mentality’ and depended upon British troops to help them maintain control over a large Black slave majority. Continuing with these subjects of demographic and labour development, herein we are going to look more closely at the Upper South.

David Brion Davis, on page 132 of his book Inhuman Bondage: The Rise and Fall of Slavery in the New World, describes how the Chesapeake Bay region differed from the demographic and social development of the Caribbean sugar islands. Tobacco farming was significantly less labour intensive (as well as less profitable) than sugarcane farming (with cotton farming generally falling somewhere in between the two). Nevertheless, the mortality rate for the mostly White labourers who worked the tobacco fields was extremely high in the early decades. Notice too that these White labourers were a mix of indentured servants and captive workers, who were essentially slaves.
Despite the arrival of a handful of black slaves, English indentured servants more than met the demand for labor stimulated by Virginia’s great tobacco boom of [the] 1620s. …[G]iven their appalling mortality from disease in the early decades, such servants had only a fifty-fifty chance of surviving a five-year term and collecting their “freedom dues,” a small cash payment or a piece of land. Until the last third of the seventeenth century, there were enough English teenagers, farm laborers, and artisans who were deluded by the colonizers’ propaganda to meet the Chesapeake colonies’ expanding demand for labor. The flow of such voluntary immigrants were supplemented by deportation of petty criminals, including debtors, as well as Irish prisoners and rebellious Scots.

What You Can't Say

Jon Hubbard, a Republican member of the Arkansas House of Representatives, has a book, titled Letters to the Editor: Confessions of a Frustrated Conservative. Among its statements for which Hubbard has been criticized and disavowed by the Republican Party is, "The institution of slavery that the black race has long believed to be an abomination upon its people may actually have been a blessing in disguise. The blacks who could endure those conditions and circumstances would someday be rewarded with citizenship in the greatest nation ever established upon the face of the Earth."

Hubbard's observation reminded me of my 1972 job interview at the University of Massachusetts. During a reception, one of the Marxist professors asked me what I thought about the relationship between capitalism and slavery. My response was that slavery has existed everywhere in the world, under every political and economic system, and was by no means unique to capitalism or the United States. Perturbed by my response, he asked me what my feelings were about the enslavement of my ancestors. I answered that slavery is a despicable violation of human rights but that the enslavement of my ancestors is history, and one of the immutable facts of history is that nothing can be done to change it.

The matter could have been left there, but I volunteered that today's American blacks have benefited enormously from the horrible suffering of our ancestors. Why? I said the standard of living and personal liberty of black Americans are better than what blacks living anywhere in Africa have. I then asked the professor what it was that explained how tens of millions of blacks came to be born in the U.S. instead of Africa. He wouldn't answer, but an answer other than slavery would have been sheer idiocy. I attempted to assuage the professor's and his colleagues' shock by explaining to them that to morally condemn a practice such as slavery does not require one to also deny its effects.

My yet-to-be-learned lesson – and perhaps that of Rep. Hubbard – is that there are certain topics or arguments that one should not bring up in the presence of children or those with little understanding. Both might see that explaining a phenomenon is the same as giving it moral sanction or justification. It's as if one's explanation that the independent influence of gravity on a falling object is to cause it to accelerate at 32 feet per second per second could be interpreted as giving moral sanction and justification to gravity.

State Department emails from day of Libya attack show Al Qaeda-tied group on radar

A series of internal State Department emails obtained by Fox News shows that officials reported within hours of last month's deadly consulate attack in Libya that Al Qaeda-tied group Ansar al-Sharia had claimed responsibility.

The emails provide some of the most detailed information yet about what officials knew in the initial hours after the attack. And it again raises questions about why U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice, apparently based on intelligence assessments, would claim five days after the attack that it was a "spontaneous" reaction to protests over an anti-Islam film.

Ansar al-Sharia has been declared by the State Department to be an Al Qaeda-affiliated group. A member of the group suspected of participating in the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi has been arrested and is being held in Tunisia.

The emails obtained by Fox News were sent by the State Department to a variety of national security platforms, whose addresses have been redacted, including the White House Situation Room, the Pentagon, the FBI and the Director of National Intelligence.

Fox News was told that an estimated 300 to 400 national security figures received these emails in real time almost as the raid was playing out and concluding. People who received these emails work directly under the nation’s top national security, military and diplomatic officials, Fox News was told.
The timestamps on the emails are all Eastern Time and often include the subheading SBU, which is shorthand for “Sensitive But Unclassified.”

Slave Emancipation/Northern Propaganda Mobile

by Kathleen Wilmouth

This coming Friday & Saturday, citizens of Mecklenburg County will have the opportunity to see firsthand just how “balanced” the views of the Virginia Sesquicentennial Commission actually are. The Civil War “History Mobile” will be in Boydton for the annual Boydton Days event. The sesquicentennial is advertised as a “commemoration, not a celebration.” According to their website,” the commemoration will seek to portray a balanced story of Virginia's participation in the American Civil War that includes stories from African-American, Union and Confederate perspectives; battlefront as well as home front; slavery and freedom; and the causes of the war and its enduring legacies.”

This traveling travesty would be more appropriately described as the “Slave Emancipation” mobile, or perhaps the “Northern Propaganda” mobile, as its main theme is an apology for slavery. It continues to propagate the same inaccurate “history” that has been shoved down the throats of generations since the South lost the war in 1865 – the noble North versus the sorry South. Thousands of school children, and not a few adults, will tour this “history” mobile and come out believing that all southern whites were slave owners, the slaves did all of the work, the slave owners fought the Northern states to keep their slaves but the North won so the slaves got freed. Pretty simple, isn’t it?

Simple maybe, but not very accurate. Since this is supposed to be a “balanced” display, when do we hear about the Morrill Tariff, tax of 47% that a Northern Congress sought to impose on the South. Or Abraham Lincoln’s true reason for declaring an unconstitutional war - when encouraged by Colonel John Baldwin to allow the seceded southern states to leave in peace, Lincoln replied, “And open Charleston, etcetera as ports of entry with their ten percent tariff? What then would become of MY tariff?” Just in fairness, perhaps it could be pointed out that the “Great Emancipator” viewed the Negro race as inferior and desired to deport all blacks from the country. And perhaps, during all of the talk of slavery, it might be acknowledged that the “underground railroad” for escaped slaves went to Canada because the Union states did not want blacks in their territory. Instead of inaccuracies and half-truths, give the public real disclosure. It is not as simple as the South was bad and the North was good.

While I would never argue that slavery played no part in the War, I reject the interpretation that it “caused” the War. Historical records of the time (and “of the time” is important) have provided a more accurate account of the conflict and its multiple causes. Unfortunately, few people bother to read the real historical accounts, preferring to rely on current, easily accessed & politically corrected versions. We, all southerners, are partly to blame for this, because we have allowed the spread of this skewed version for so long that even our own people are ignorant of the truth. In 1864, Confederate General Patrick Cleburne prophetically stated that “Surrender means that the history of this heroic struggle will be written by the enemy; that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers; will learn from Northern school books their version of the War; will be impressed by all the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors, and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.”

There is one truth that cannot be argued. The Civil War ended slavery for the black race of that time. But under the continued & expanded yoke of Lincoln’s “big government” policies, we are all, black & white, now slaves to Washington.

Obama done used up all the white guilt

Via Hans

I saw this the other day, but evidently deleted it by mistake.

Here in Chicago, I regularly meet with a group of friends who call themselves “The Think Squad”; these are men and women who are prominent members of the black community in Hyde Park and the City’s south side. None of them supported Barack Obama’s presidential bid in 2008 but most begrudgingly voted for him because they freely admit race-pride was their motivating factor.  These people knew Obama when he was a state senator and saw him do absolutely nothing for blacks in Chicago back then…and they similarly saw Obama do nothing for blacks (or any of his constituents in general) as a United States Senator.

The Think Squad has always seen through Obama and continues to speak out about his failings.  Expect them, and other blacks coast to coast, to become even more vocal about the “magical first black president” after he loses in November and the anger of “how much that punk wasted” really comes to a boil and people no longer feel intimidated or threatened when the Obamas have left the White House for Hawaii next January.  That’s when people will REALLY let it all fly, once the Obamas are no longer even a vestigial presence in Chicago and people have no fear at all in talking about what a sham their marriage is and how the two of them benefitted from affirmative action and white guilt their entire lives.

The problem, for blacks in Chicago, is that the Obamas have actually ruined that white guilt for “the rest of us”, as the Think Squad put it last night at an impromptu after-church-programs dinner I enjoyed with some of the more outspoken “Thinkers” in a little Mexican restaurant near the south side.

As you know from our last email Michael lost his appeal with the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces (CAAF) by a single vote (3-2).  The court agreed that favorable testimony had been withheld by the prosecutors and that the trial judge’s instructions were in fact erroneous; but the majority ruled that none of that mattered because Michael had lost his right to self-defense the moment he pointed a gun at Ali Mansur.  It is important to note that the government’s argument in the appeal was not that Michael had murdered Mansur (they have all but conceded that was not the case), but rather than he had no right to defend himself in a war zone once he pointed a gun at Mansur (regardless of how many American soldiers Mansur had killed as the leader of an al-Qaida cell.)

We have one more chance in the court system and that is to take Michael’s case to the United States Supreme Court.  We know that the odds are long, but after consulting with lawyer’s who have tried cases in this venue we have taken their advice to pursue a petition to have Michael’s case heard before the highest court in the land.  You can help support this effort by making a donation to Michael’s legal fund at http://www.defendmichael.com  As always, we appreciate all of your efforts to assist Michael in his pursuit of justice.

We are also moving forward to seek a Presidential Pardon or at least a commutation of Michael’s prison sentence to time served.  Michael’s case should not be a political football and we feel strongly that liberals and conservatives should support a Soldier who is incarcerated for defending himself in a war zone.  We ask each of you write to both President Obama and Presidential candidate Mitt Romney at the addresses below and request that they look into Michael’s case and consider giving him the homecoming he never received.  Also consider sending letters to your Senators and Congressman at the same time.  Some topics that could be included in your letters include:

-  Michael’s exemplary military service;

- The fact that all five Justices on the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces (CAAF) determined the jury panel wholly rejected the prosecutors theory that Michael executed Mansur;

- Although the prosecutors claimed at trial that Michael’s testimony about what happened in the culvert was impossible, the appellate courts have opined Michael defended himself just as he testified, but that Michael legally lost his right to defend himself because of an unauthorized field interrogation;

- The American Soldier is sent to the battlefield to defend this country. Should our Soldiers ever lose their fight to defend themselves when attacked by an al-Qaida operative?

- Michael is not a threat to anyone and has paid a significant price by serving 3 ½ years of his life in Ft. Leavenworth prison.

Michael has awoken in the same prison cell for over three and a half years.  Yet he awakens each day with a grateful heart and a smile on his face.  Despite all of the setbacks in his fight for freedom his spirit is unbroken.  Michael knows firsthand that freedom is not free as he witnessed two of his own soldiers die on the battlefield.  For those of us who have never had their freedom taken away it is too easily taken for granted.  From behind prison walls Michael knows the value of freedom and it remains his most cherished hope that someday soon he will have his freedom back.

God bless you and may God bless this country,

Mother found guilty in TSA pat-down case

Via Don

A Clarksville mother accused of berating Transportation Security Administration officers trying to pat down her teenage daughter has been found guilty of disorderly conduct.

Jurors began deliberating around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday and reached their verdict about four hours later. Forty-two-year-old Andrea Abbott faces up to 30 days in jail and a $50 fine.

Transportation Security Officer Karen King testified that before the pat-down, Abbott yelled in her face that she didn't want anyone "touching her daughter's crotch."

Abbott eventually allowed her then-14-year-old daughter to undergo the pat-down, but then she refused a pat-down for herself and was arrested.

The Takedown of the English Defence League EDL

Via David

Dated Monday, but the first I've seen it.

VERBATIM

I first learned of the arrest of Tommy Robinson and Kevin Carroll early yesterday morning — after most Americans were in bed, and before most Brits were awake. I held off posting anything (other than a single sketchy MSM report) until I had more information.

And now Paul Weston has also been arrested — events are overtaking us thick and fast.

Before I get into the details (such as I have), let’s take a look at the broad picture: this was obviously a carefully-planned takedown of the English Defence League.

The Powers That Be in the UK have apparently determined that the EDL is weak at the moment. They calculated that a precisely-targeted “short, sharp shock” could destroy it. Put Tommy Robinson behind bars for a long, long time; disrupt Kevin Carroll’s election campaign; and, for good measure, arrest the Chairman of the British Freedom Party.

I think they expect the remnants of the EDL to run around like a chicken with its head cut off. With its leaders incapacitated, and its rank-and-file in disarray, the British authorities assume the movement will fall to pieces and decline into irrelevance, just as the BNP did before it.

So, for any English Defence League supporters who happen to read this: if you want to prove your Masters wrong — if you want to demonstrate that “No Surrender!” is still alive and well in England — you’ll need to pull together, even in the absence of the top leadership, and flex your organizational muscles.

I’m far away, and not a native Englishman, so I can’t offer any advice on the best way to do this. But I know it can be done.

I know the English spirit and the English people — I lived among them during my formative years.

If you put your minds to it, you can surmount this obstacle, just as you have so many others. I have every confidence in you.

Now on to the news. First, a report from Luton Today about the arrest of Tommy Robinson, who seems to have been stitched up on two separate charges: one for assault, and one for using a false passport to travel to the Freedom Defense Initiative in New York on September 11:

    EDL leader arrested over assault

English Defence League leader Stephen Lennon has been arrested over an alleged assault in Luton on Saturday morning.

    Tommy Robinson in Luton

It is believed the victim was Saiful Islam, known for preaching his extremist views in Bury Park.

The pair featured in Channel 4 documentary Proud and Prejudiced earlier this year, and a You Tube video of an altercation between the pair in Bury Park last year has been viewed nearly 300,000 times.

A spokesman for Beds Police said a man was assaulted in New Bedford Road at about 10.15am by five men who got out of a black BMW.

He was punched and kicked and lost his mobile phone and keys in the incident, and his injuries are described as “reddening of the left eye”.

Police confirmed a 29-year-old man was being held on suspicion of assault.

Lennon, who calls himself Tommy Robinson, is currently being held by police on suspicion of conspiring to cause a public nuisance after police intercepted a group of 53 EDL members on their way to east London on Saturday.

The English Defence League has released a statement saying everyone arrested on Saturday, apart from Lennon, was bailed yesterday and that he was also being held on suspicion of entering the US illegally following a trip to New York in September.

Also among those understood to have been arrested on Saturday was Kevin Carroll, who is standing in the police and crime commissioner elections for Bedfordshire.

The charges against Kevin Carroll appear much flimsier, and hardly to be taken seriously — this is obviously a ruse to sandbag Kev’s candidacy for PCC in Bedfordshire.

The BBC has this report on Kevin’s arrest:

Bedfordshire PCC candidate Kevin Carroll arrested

A police and crime commissioner candidate for Bedfordshire has been arrested.

British Freedom Party candidate Kevin Carroll was arrested after about 50 English Defence League (EDL) supporters were stopped by police on Saturday, the party said.

Police said officers arrested 53 men in connection with an operation in London.

A spokesman for the party said Mr Carroll’s election campaign would be “unaffected”.

The spokesman said: “Following Saturday’s events, we learn directly from Kevin Carroll that he has been bailed until 30 November, which means that his election campaign for Bedfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) is unaffected.

    ‘Planned disturbance’

“We can confirm that Kevin was not among EDL supporters stopped by police… but was arrested later whilst driving to his home.”

The Metropolitan Police said the men were held on the M25 motorway near Heathrow Airport and Uxbridge and on the M3 near Bagshot, Surrey.

The men were heading to a location in east London, but police have not revealed where they were due to gather.

All 53 were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to cause public nuisance, the Metropolitan Police said.

They have been bailed until a later date pending further inquiries.

A Met spokesman said: “This was part of an intelligence-led investigation into a planned disturbance in east London on that day [Saturday]”.

One of the bail conditions imposed on the men bans them from entering east London to demonstrate for a stipulated period of time, police said.

The British Freedom website has more about Tommy’s situation:

Tommy Robinson Imprisoned With Hostile Muslims

We have just heard that Tommy Robinson has been incarcerated in London’s Wandsworth Prison, sharing a cell with Muslims on a wing full of Muslims screaming death threats at him.

This is how the authorities react to those who try to warn Britain of the greatest threat to national peace and security since the Second World War.

The British Government is hereby forewarned that should any harm come to Tommy Robinson in prison, they will be held to account.

The Government has a duty of care to all prisoners, not to go out of their way to place them in potential danger for vindictive or political reasons.

British Freedom are actively seeking the advice of lawyers on this matter. Meanwhile, we invite all friends and supporters of Tommy Robinson to write your messages of friendship and support below; we will do our best to convey them to him to strengthen him in this difficult time.

Visit the British Freedom page to donate to the legal defense fund for Tommy, Kevin, Paul, and the other British patriots who are now being rounded up.

Make no mistake about it: there will be more arrests. The crackdown is just beginning.
