The infiltration of Marxist ideology into the high-echelons of federal government can be back-dated to the 1930s and FDR’s administration. Russian-born revolutionary Sidney Hillman provided communist votes for FDR in his earlier run for governor of New York, FDR appointed him labor advisor after becoming president in 1932. By 1936, Hillman had created the communist-dominated Congress of Industrial Organizations (CIO, later merged with the AFL) as well as the first political action committee, the CIO-PAC. The PAC funneled labor union money to FDR’s reelection campaign as well as attracting socialist and communist votes. Hubert Humphrey idolized FDR and rose to vice-president under LBJ. To understand why Southern Democrats formed the Dixiecrat party in 1948, look no further than the communist domination of the Democrat party by the mid-1940s.
Minnesota Progressives and Liberals, Circa 1945:
“In creating the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, Humphrey had permitted Communists and extreme leftists to gain control of the party’s nerve center. In winning the mayorship [of Minneapolis] in 1945, he vigorously courted the pro-Communist elements that virtually controlled the State’s CIO labor federation. For nearly two more years Mayor Humphrey cultivated the backing of pro-Communist radicals until events impelled him to take them on in a political life and death struggle.
Following his election in 1945 he was quick to ingratiate himself with the radical elements that controlled the State’s CIO. The CIO’s pro-communist Minnesota Labor, for example, reported that close to 700 progressives and liberals of Minnesota” packed the main ballroom of the [Radisson] hotel to honor” the fellow-travelling Elmer Benson at a testimonial dinner in August, 1945. Among those at the head table: Mayor Hubert Humphrey.
In November, Mayor Humphrey, attending the annual CIO convention in Minneapolis, addressed the CIO’s Political Action Committee along with Benson and Stalinist William Mauseth, then CIO-PAC director. The resolutions and rhetoric that flowed from the gathering could have been scripted in the Kremlin.
The convention passed a resolution urging all unions to wage an “unrelenting struggle against the evils and dangers of….group discrimination that go hand-in-hand with labor-baiting.” Such heavy-handed epithets, of course, were usually hurled by Communists and leftist propagandists at anyone who opposed the progressive paradise in the Soviet Union and/or the excessive demands of Communist-dominated unions in the United States.
Minnesota Labor reported Humphrey as “strongly endorsing” the CIO’s eight-point [socialist] program before Congress though it is not absolutely clear whether he embraced it entirely [or] necessarily reveal his willingness to curry favor with the extreme left-wing of the United States, for liberals, radicals and Communists have historically found themselves pushing for similar domestic programs.
The acid test of whether a person cultivated the Communist line was whether he also endorsed a foreign policy which coincided with the aims of the Soviet Union. Humphrey did.
[It] is quite likely that [Humphrey] sympathized with CIO policy, judging from his pro-Soviet speech in January….[and] he approved of the Soviet conquest of the Baltic states, endorsed the thought that Stalin should ensure the establishment of “friendly” governments on the Soviet borders, and justified Russia’s “absorption” of its neighboring states. Furthermore, it is clear that Humphrey found himself in agreement with another resolution adopted by the convention: having America withdraw its support from Chiang Kai-shek. The [communist Chinese] reviled Chiang because he was pro-West and militantly anti-communist.
In vigorously urging the United States to take steps which would mean the abandonment of China to the Communists, Humphrey was doing the bidding of the pro-Communist CIO-PAC in Minnesota.”

Exclusive video captured by Breitbart News during Occupy/anarchist demonstrations outside the RNC Tuesday shows CRS field representatives, wearing DOJ logo polo shirts and hats, conversing with Occupy protesters.
In one case, a CRS representative and protester are seen to high-five each other.
CRS representatives are also seen relaying specific instructions to the activists about the location of prearranged buses that were apparently taking them to their next scheduled demonstration.
CRS’s mission, as expressed on its website, is to be a “‘peacemaker’ for community conflicts and tensions.” CRS was created as part of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as a conflict resolution body dealing specifically with community uprisings over racial issues. Its jurisdiction was later expanded as part of The Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act, signed into law by President Obama, which lists the areas in which the CRS can act as including issues of "race, color, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, or disability."
The purpose of CRS is to mediate in ongoing disputes--not to foment them, or to become participants. However, there is evidence that the Obama administration may be using CRS as a quiet community organizing force.
Rand Paul took to the stage of the RNC on Wednesday evening and made a bee line for Obama, taking him on on his signature policy in the first words he uttered. He said that after the Supreme Court’s ruling the first words out of his mouth were: “I still think it is unconstitutional.” He went on to say that he’s had time to count to ten and he still thinks it’s unconstitutional.
While the elder Paul spoke via a tribute video, the younger Paul gave his speech and was afforded time because of his decision to back Mitt Romney. The speech was all about the things his father had instilled in him. It was about freedom, prosperity and peace. It was about encouraging Americans, not putting them down and it was brilliant.

The Smoking Teleprompter: Video of RNC Teleprompter Showing Results of Scripted Voting Before Voting Finished
By Jay Stang, Oath Keepers Texas Vice President, and RNC Delegate from Texas 22nd District
“Remarkably, they know they are ignorant, but their ignorance does not trouble them. On the contrary, when Jay’s questions expose it, they laugh, pleased with themselves, so they will do nothing to abate it. Their ignorance is “cool,” which, where I come from, has always meant, “not so hot.” They are potential slaves, waiting for some dictator to corral them. They will still be giggling inanely about how, like, cool it is, man, as they are put aboard the cattle cars.”
We have long suspected that politics is rigged. We have long heard the cliched statement that nothing in politics happens by accident. For those among you with little faith, here is your justification and confirmation that you are correct. For those of you with any degree of faith in the system, your ignorance dies today.
The video below, shot during the August 28, 2012 vote on the new controversial RNC rules, shows the script of the proceedings of the Republican National Convention. The video you are about to see shows you in no uncertain terms that the results of the voting are rigged.
Video shot by Duane Taylor At Large Delegate from Oregon
As shown in the video, the results of the votes on the credentials, rules, and nomination of candidates are all determined in advance, and displayed on the teleprompter for the Chair of the convention to read from. Let me make this simple for you: every word, every sentence, and the results of every vote are predetermined, and are displayed on the screen for the chair to be read. “The ayes have it” is displayed on the screen before the voting is even finished, and before the Chair could make any kind of independent evaluation of the voice vote. The screen says it before he speaks. The Chair, John Boehner, is just a perfectly coiffed bobble-head. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!
For those of you who still will not see, I have this to say:
Are you a slave, or are you an American? Rebellion and defiance runs through the veins of every American. Submission and fear run through the veins of a slave. Choose wisely.

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” -- Samuel Adams

PS -- Stay tuned. More details of the multiple, systemic examples of the kangaroo court, Soviet-style “show trial” of the GOP convention to follow. I was there, as a member of the Republican Party, and I saw it with my own eyes.
Russian naval vessels have unexpectedly departed the Syrian Mediterranean port of Tartus and Russian arms shipments to Syria have been suddenly discontinued. debkafile’s military sources reveal that those and other steps indicate that the Russians are rapidly drawing away from the Syrian arena to avoid getting caught up in the escalating hostilities expected to arise from military intervention by the US, Europe and a number of Arab states. Russian intelligence appears to have decided that this outside intervention is imminent and Moscow looks anxious to keep its distance for now.
According to our military and Russian sources, these drastic steps must have been personally ordered by President Vladimir Putin. He is believed to have acted over the objections of some of his army and naval chiefs. This would explain the mixed statements issuing from Moscow in recent days about the disposition of Russian personnel at the naval base in Tartus and Russian military personnel in Syria.
Wednesday, Aug. 22, Commander of the Russian Navy Vice Adm. Viktor Chirkov said that if the fighting in Syria reached Tartus, Moscow may decide to evacuate the base. He stressed that this decision would have to be taken on the authority of President Putin. He was the first Russian official to suggest the possibility of an evacuation.
A week later, Aug. 28, Russian chief of staff Gen. Nikolai Makarov denied anything had changed in the working procedures of Russian military personnel in Syria or that there were any plans to evacuate the Russian naval base in Tartus:
"I think it's too early to draw conclusions [from the situation in Syria]," said the general. "No one is running away from there.”
When a Russian journalist pressed the general and ventured to ask whether Moscow was terminating its military involvement in Syria, Marakov retorted, “Why are you so worried about Syria?"
But he didn’t answer the question.
debkafile's military sources disclose that the Russians have taken five significant military steps with regard to Syria in the last two weeks:

Over the last couple of years the mil dot reticle has become less of an option and more the standard in tactical rifle scopes. Since its inception with the Unertl USMC sniper scope and later in various versions of the Leupold Mark IV scope, military snipers have come to know the mil dot reticle as a reliable means of determining distances to targets, establishing leads for moving targets, and for alternate aiming points for windage and elevation holds. Military snipers who are graduates of formal programs of instruction have spent numerous hours honing their ability to use the mil dot reticle and are comfortable and competent with it. Military snipers are easy to train on the mil dot reticle, as the military has been using the mil relation formula in one form or another for many years. As the WERM rule (width of correction = Range x mils observed), it has been the mainstay for determining adjustments when calling and adjusting indirect fire weapons such as mortars and artillery. On the other hand, so me Law Enforcement and civilian tactical and practical long-range precision shooters are a little hesitant sometimes of the mil dot reticle because of a lack of proper training. I hope this article will help remedy this problem.
A Los Angeles Police Department commanding officer has been removed amid an internal investigation into a videotaped beating in which officers tackled a handcuffed registered nurse to the ground, police Chief Charlie Beck said Wednesday.
Beck said previously that he had "serious concerns" about the use of force against Michelle Jordan, 34, who was arrested in the Tujunga area on Aug. 21 after being stopped for talking on a cellphone while driving, police said.
Jordan got out of the car and cursed the two officers who stopped her, witnesses and Jordan's husband told KNBC-TV.
Fast-food restaurant surveillance video obtained by the TV station (bit.ly/NVptHP ) showed officers taking her to the ground. After she is handcuffed and walked to a police car, the 5-foot-4 woman is tackled a second time by an officer who lands on top of her.
"She made some unwise moves," her attorney, Sy Nazif, told the station. "But certainly nothing that warranted a physical assault from the LAPD."

Broadway begins at Lafayette Square, which has a history as old as the city, but is set apart as a memorial to men who died fighting for the Union cause during the Civil War. The Square is also hallowed because one night, the Great Emancipator himself walked alone in the little park that was there when he stopped in Buffalo on his way to the White House. Lincoln won by a scant majority in Buffalo and Erie County in the election which made him President. But the reception Buffalonians gave him must have assured him of their support in the polices he was to pursue in the coming four years. Walking alone in the little park, Lincoln could not have known that fourteen miles out Broadway from Lafayette Square was the tiny Hamlet of Town Line, who had a majority of residents who opposed him, his policies and the rest of the United States loyal to the Union.

A Montana rancher shot and killed a black bear that scaled a tall fence and broke into his house to rummage for food this week along the Rocky Mountain Front.
Lane Yeager discovered damage when he returned to his home near Choteau on Monday evening. The young male bear had broken through a screen and entered an open window, wrecked a lazy Susan and tore off a door to get to food in the trash and in the pantry.
"It was dark out. I was headed for the light switch when it ran across ahead of me," Yeager told the Great Falls Tribune. "That's when I knew I had an issue."
Mike Madel, grizzly bear management specialist with the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks, said the bear had probably been in the house for an hour.
Yeager dispatched it with a rifle.
"I killed it so someone else wouldn't have to," Yeager said. "We're fat with grizzlies, but the black bear was off the beaten path."

Over that same time, the number of registered Republicans increased by 128,039, topping the average of 103,555 during the past two presidential cycles.
Overall, Democrats still hold a 445,794 statewide registration advantage.

John M. Robinson, the Chief Diversity Officer at the U.S. Department of State, wants America’s diplomats to know that common phrases and idioms like “holding down the fort” are, in fact, deeply racist.
Robinson, who also serves as director of the Department’s Office of Civil Rights, used his “Diversity Notes” feature in the July/August issue of the official “State Magazine” to examine the hateful roots of everyday sayings. In one recent public relations kerfuffle at Nike, Inc., he wrote, the company torpedoed a sneaker called the “Black and Tan.”
“What a wonderful celebratory gesture and appreciation for Irish culture. Not!” wrote Robinson, an adult.
Robinson notes that “Black and Tan,” in addition to being an enjoyably robust alcoholic concoction, can refer to the brutal Protestant militiamen who ravaged the Irish countryside in the early 20th century — which is why Irish bartenders always get so upset when you order one.In an effort to avoid offending those notoriously fragile Irish sensibilities, Nike pulled the shoe from stores.
“I wouldn’t vote for Mitt Romney any more than I would vote for Obama,” he said. “They’re both war mongers and elitists. There’s no difference. It’s two sides of the same coin. And nothing’s going to change.”
Hundreds of Rep. Ron Paul’s (R-Texas) supporters staged a walkout during Sen. John McCain’s Wednesday evening speech at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla.
A long stream of Paul’s backers from Maine, Oklahoma, Oregon, Arizona, and several other states protested the Republican National Committee's treatment of Paul and his supporters by walking out of the convention hall with chants of, “As Maine goes, so goes the nation!”

The NHRA and AHRA may have been writing the rule books, but the game of one-upmanship between the factories at the dawn of the 1960s seemed to escalate with each passing weekend as one performance package after another issued from Detroit. In 1963 Chevrolet made a bold leap forward with the Z11 Impala, a lightweight match-racer that drew on the lessons of the recent past to dominate Super Stock and the fledgling A/FX class.
The Z11’s aluminum front end and bumpers and Spartan finish were standard practice for factory lightweights. What sets this car apart is the high performance 427 CI "mystery engine" scruntinzed as authentic by W-Block expert Phil Reed. On top of the engine sits an aluminum dual quad intake and carburetors as well as the distinctive Z11 air cleaner that drew air from the passenger-side cowl vent, the latter item so rare today that examples have sold for more than $40,000!
When you read what happened last Friday afternoon, I hope you will be as furious as we are because you will understand the very dangerous direction in which the courts are now headed.
When we challenged Obama's eligibility because he is not a natural born citizen, we filed cases against the DNC in Arizona Federal court and Tennessee State Court. The cases were similar, but did have some important differences. In Tennessee, we were specifically relying on state fraud statutes, because we knew the DNC intended to commit fraud again by certifying a non-eligible candidate for the TN general ballot.
Well, because states have lost their sovereignty, the DNC attorneys were able to remove the case from TN state court to Federal Court. Then the DNC attorneys filed a motion for sanctions against our lead attorney, Van Irion, in Federal court, a court we never filed the case in! That motion for sanctions was replete with blatant and provable lies, which Van pointed out in his response. Ultimately, Judge Anderson of the Western District of TN Federal court dismissed the case and since we have an active Federal case in Arizona we decided not to appeal the decision. We thought the TN case was over. Boy were we wrong.
Friday afternoon, Judge Anderson not only did not address the outright lies of the DNC attorneys, he piled on his own lies in an order to personally sanction Van Irion. His order states that our lawsuit was legally frivolous and that Van was either incompetent or "vexatious" in filing the lawsuit.
Van properly filed a state claim in state court to address this crime that has been perpetrated on all of us by the DNC. The defendants moved the case to Federal Court. Judge Anderson refused to let Van amend or supplement his complaint then sanctioned him because he didn't amend his complaint! Judge Anderson stated Van didn't prove certain facts, but he didn't let the case even get to discovery so that those facts could be proven! I personally believe the Bush appointed Judge Anderson wants Obama to know he's on "his side" if Obama should win the November election.
Van does not deserve this, our case does not deserve this. We are appealing this outrageous decision
So here's the nutshell of our situation:
- We have someone sitting the in White House without any verifiable credentials
- Moreover, by Obama's own admission, he is not qualified for the Office because his father was never a citizen (Minor v. Happersett 1875 - child of two citizen parents)
- No court to date has followed the binding precedent from the Supreme Court’s Minor v. Happersett case, by finding Obama constitutionally ineligible to serve as President
- Attorneys that file to have this Supreme Court precedent, and the Constitution, upheld are demonized in the media and persecuted by the Courts
- The Congress sits idly by and does nothing
- Mainline candidates for President treat it like a joke
If this weren't really happening, I would think this were the plot of a political thriller. But it's not. This is the America we live in today.
Please help Van fight this attack on his character and on his ability to keep fighting for the Constitution. Show him that you appreciate the work he has done to try to restore our Constitutional rule of law. Please make a donation today.

According to Guinness World Records, Besse Cooper, of Monroe, Ga., is only the eighth person to ever reach the age of 116. She was born in the same year as writer F. Scott Fitzgerald.
Cooper isn’t really sure why she’s lived so long, but has her theories, she told The Walton Tribune.
“I mind my own business,” she said, “and I don’t eat junk food.”
The world’s oldest living person reached another milestone Sunday when she celebrated her Sweet 116.
Monroe, Ga., woman Besse Cooper has become only the eighth person in the world — and the fourth American — verified to have turned that age, according to Guinness World Records.
Cooper, whose maiden name was Brown, was born on Aug. 26, 1896, in northern Tennessee — the same year as comedian George Burns and writer F. Scott Fitzgerald.
In 1917 during World War I, she moved to Georgia to work as a schoolteacher. She later married Luther Cooper, and they raised four children together. He died in 1963 at age 68, according to The Walton Tribune.
The newspaper reported last year that the supercentenarian is also a grandmother of 12, great-grandmother of 15 and great-great-grandmother of one.

Egypt's President Morsi meeting with Christian leaders
EDITOR’S NOTE: The image and video below are extremely graphic. View with caution.
There’s shocking new evidence from the Middle East of crucifixion by Muslims, this time of a “spy” in Yemen who allegedly was accused of U.S. sympathies.
WND recently confirmed a Sky News Arabia report of the crucifixion of dissidents in Egypt.
According to a report by Lebanon Today translated into English, the Yemeni jihadist group Ansar al-Shariah took control of the Azzan area of Yemen and imposed Islamic law, or Shariah.
In the process, the group crucified three men, accusing them of being agents for the U.S. The executions reportedly took place several months ago.
Former PLO operative turned terrorism analyst Walid Shoebat says the inscription in the photo of one of the victims reads, “He was crucified for three days in accordance to Shariah.”
Shoebat says Lebanon Today reported the group carried out the Shariah-prescribed penalties, explaining the multiple executions were retribution for passing information to U.S. forces to carry out attacks by pilot-less drones.
According to Shoebat’s translation, the report said:
“One they nicknamed ‘Captain’ was executed by crucifixion for three days at the entrance to the city of Jaar in the Abyan province, to be viewed by passersby entering and leaving the city.
“Two Saudis and a Yemeni were also executed by the sword at dawn at the hands of Ansar al-Shariah, and [the terrorists] absolved [a] fourth defendant from execution for his young age..
“A leader in Ansar al-Islam claimed that these who were executed belong to the province of Marib, [and were executied] for planting trackers on cars that belong to al-Qaida leaders to be targeted by the drones.”
According to Shoebat, the article said an analyst in the region claimed the crucifixions are “something new.”
The report said:
“One researcher, Saeed Obaid Elaf, said that, ‘The incidents of these executions never occurred previously in Yemen but follows the sequence of events which occurred previously in Afghanistan and Iraq [where] … Islam is the religion of the state. In Iraq these [terrorists] see Iraq as the Islamic State of Iraq.
“‘In Afghanistan, the ones who receive this type of executions are those who are considered spies. But in Yemen this is the first time we have seen such phenomenon, which has become a natural thing now because al-Qaida now exercises the powers of the state and it’s natural that it carries out such executions.”
