Who Do these People Think they Are?

That’s who they think they are; your King, your Lords, your Nobility. They don’t care what happened in 1787, they still think they own you.

Via Looking in the Mirror

Imagine you wake up tomorrow and this is not a Constitutional Republic anymore. It is now a dictatorship. Whoops! Already accomplished. Then imagine that you wake up tomorrow and the President and our elites have given away part of the US. Then imagine it was your state and your state and Senators weren’t even consulted on it. In fact the deal was conducted in secret. Well, the nightmare is alive and well and being finalized for Alaska. But, before you go cursing ONLY Obama (as I do every damn chance I get), you better have a really hard look at Progressives on both sides of the aisle. This monstrous act of treason started under Bush Senior in 1990 and was ratified by our Senate in 1991. The only thing holding it back was that Russia had not signed the treaty. Obama is now looking to finish the diabolical deal.

The kamikaze hits Columbia at 1729.
The plane and its bomb penetrated two decks

In addition to the Navy Unit Commendation, Columbia received 10 battle stars for World War II service.

Columbia flew a Confederate Navy Ensign as a battle flag throughout combat in the South Pacific in World War II. This was done in honor of the ship's namesake, the capital city of South Carolina, the first state to secede from the Union.

The Confederate Constitution defined treason as against a State, not a government or nation.

Comment on Belle Grove and right on target, needless to say.

I was just reading in the book I recommended recently how even the Constitution of the United States defines treason this way:

"Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort." U.S. Const. Art III, Sec III

Note something important - treason is against THEM, i.e. the States, not the government/nation.

Who levied war against the States? Why, Abraham Lincoln did! He raised an army to invade the sovereign states who had seceded. He never even got Congressional approval (even after the fact). Amazing how that's gotten turned around.

I believe this is the clearest example of the difference between the two nations.

The Constitution’s definition of treason against the United States (Article III, Section III) states that it: “shall consist of levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.” The Confederate Constitution was identical, defining treason as against a State, not a government or nation. The Virginian below committed treason against his own people, his State.

Treason’s Consequences

“I was sitting on my horse near General [JEB] Stuart, who had put in the skirmishers, and was now superintending the fire of his artillery, when a cavalry-man rode up and reported that they had just captured a deserter.

“Where is he?” was Stuart’s interrogatory.

“Coming yonder, General.”

“How do you know he is a deserter?”

“One of my company knew him when he joined our army.”

“Where is he from?”

“_____ county.” And the man mentioned the name of a county of western Virginia.

“What is his name?”

“M____.” (I suppress the full name. Some mother’s or sister’s heart might be wounded.)

“Bring him up,” said Stuart coldly, with a lowering glance from the blue eyes under the brown hat and black feather. As he spoke, two or three mounted men rode up with the prisoner. HE was a young man, apparently eighteen or nineteen years of age, and wore the blue uniform, tipped with red, of a private in the United States Artillery.

“You say he is a deserter?”

“Yes sir; acknowledges that he is M___, from that county; and after joining the South he deserted.”

A kinder-hearted person than General Stuart never lived; but in all that appertained to his profession and duty as a soldier, he was inexorable. Desertion, in his estimation, was one of the deadliest crimes of which a human being could be guilty; and his course was plain – his resolution immovable.

“Where are you from?” [said Stuart].

“I belonged to the battery that was firing at you, over yonder, sir.”

“Did you belong to the Southern army at any time?”

“Yes sir.”

“So you were in our ranks, and you went over to the enemy?” he said with sort of a growl.

“Yes sir,” was the calm reply.

Stuart turned to an officer, and pointing to a tall pine near, said in brief tones: “Hang him on that tree.”

Obama Administration Has Ties to Clean-Energy Firms

Via Cousin John

The U.S. Department of Energy provided $2.4 billion to clean-energy companies with ties to the former firm of Sanjay Wagle, a venture capitalist who was a Barack Obama fundraiser during the president’s 2008 campaign.

DOE provided the money over a three-year period to clean-energy companies in which Wagle’s former firm, Vantage Point Venture Partners, had invested, according to The Washington Post, which reported that Wagle left his California firm to join DOE shortly after Obama’s election.

Moreover, the Post found that some $3.9 billion in federal grants and financing were provided to 21 companies backed by firms with connections to five Obama administration staffers and advisers.

Afghan heroin production up 61% last year

The West is losing the heroin war in Afghanistan – ten years after Tony Blair pledged that wiping out the drug was one of the main reasons for invading the country.

Despite spending £18billion and a conflict which has so far cost the lives of almost 400 British troops, production of the class-A drug by Afghan farmers rose between 2001 and 2011 from just 185 tons to a staggering 5,800 tons.

Swede saved after months in snowed-in car

A middle-aged Swedish man has been found alive after having sat snowed under in his car for the past two months, with only ice and snow to keep him alive.

The man, who is from southern Sweden, was found on Friday in his vehicle parked on a forest track near the northern town of Umeå, according to a report in the local Västerbottens-Kuriren (VK) daily.

"Absolutely incredible that he is alive, in part considering that he hasn't had any food, but also bearing in mind that it was really cold for a while there after Christmas," a member of the emergency services told the newspaper.

Saga of the Northwest Passage & Diving the HMS Investigator

It was well past midnight this past July and the round-the-clock Arctic sun was shining on Mercy Bay. Exhausted Parks Canada archaeologist Ryan Harris was experiencing a rare moment of rest on the rocky beach, looking out over the bay’s dark, ice-studded water. Around him, a dozen red-and-yellow tents lined the shoreline—the only signs of life. Every day for the previous two weeks, work had started by mid-morning and continued nonstop for 16 hours. Night and day had little relevance in the murky, near-freezing waters. Along with Parks Canada’s chief of underwater archaeology, Marc-Andre Bernier, Harris has overseen more than 100 dives at this remote inlet of Banks Island in Aulavik National Park, exploring the wreck of HMS Investigator, a British vessel that has sat on the bottom of the bay for more than 160 years.

Harris and a small team of archaeologists had discovered Investigator in 2010 and returned in 2011 with a larger team to dive, study, and document the wreck, which holds a critical place in the history of Arctic exploration. Twenty-five feet below the surface, Investigator sits upright, intact, and remarkably well preserved. Silt covers everything below the main deck, entombing the officers’ cabins, the ship’s galley, and a full library. The archaeologists had intended to leave the wreck and its artifacts where they had lain since the polar ship was abandoned, trapped in ice, on June 3, 1853. Artifact recovery was not part of their original plan, but that plan changed after their
first few dives.

The team was instantly surprised by the number of artifacts they saw—muskets, shoes, and hunks of copper sheathing rested on Investigator’s upper deck, dangled off the hull, or lay haphazardly on the sediment. Leaving these artifacts behind in Mercy Bay would have made them vulnerable to the icebergs that regularly scour the bay’s floor, including the ones the six man dive team had been dodging since their arrival.

David Koch Faced 100 Death Threats Last Year

Peaceful liberals.

David Koch, the billionaire businessman and philanthropist, says he was the target of 100 credible death threats last year alone because of his opposition to unions in the United States.

The influential conservative, who founded and funds the tea party-friendly group Americans for Prosperity, told The Palm Beach Post that he's no "bully."

"They make me sound like a bully," Koch told the Post, complaining of press coverage. "Do I look like a bully?"

The Post detailed a charity dinner that Koch and his wife, Julia, hosted recently at his Palm Beach home for the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

In 1990s, Koch discovered that he had prostate cancer. The Anderson Center successfully treated and cured him.

Koch said he is remaining active in political battles despite the criticism and threats he has received.

He told the Post that Americans for Prosperity is helping Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who faces a recall election after taking on public employee unions.

Obama Sells His Economic Record by Talking up Plant He Tried to Close

Typical, lyin' hypocrite.

President Obama wants desperately to be able to take credit for economic recovery…even when his administration arguably stood in the way.

The Washington Examiner reports that the President recently delivered a speech praising the productivity of Boeing’s manufacturing plants:

“This company is a great example of what American manufacturing can do in a way that nobody else in the world can do it,” Obama told the assembled workers this afternoon at the Everett, Wash., Boeing plant. ”And the impact of your success, as I said, goes far beyond the walls of this plant. Every Dreamliner that rolls off the assembly line here in Everett supports thousands of jobs in different industries all across the country. Parts of the fuselage are manufactured in South Carolina and Kansas,” Obama noted before mentioning factories in other states.

The problem? His administration tried to close one of the most productive of those plants over conflict with unions.

The First Betrayal

An election to office is the first betrayal of a representative, senator or president. It is from that moment on that they become subservient to an outlaw system. I say this as a point of fact, not an opinion. Any government that is freed from its Constitution is no longer operating under the law. The fact that nine other government employees (justices), some who have open distaste for the Constitution (to them an antiquated document they hold in contempt), support this wholesale disregard for law is no justification. A thief cannot absolve another thief to satisfy the demands of the victim.

We do not need another amendment to the Constitution to make them mind, they will just write more laws. They have been operating thus since the Civil War in my opinion. They will not stop, they do not understand the issues, or worse they understand them and cynically reject their importance. But, the issue at hand is their legitimacy.

The oath they take means nothing to them, but it means everything to us.

Paul: U.S. "slipping into a fascist system"

Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul warned the U.S. is "slipping into a fascist system" dominated by government and businesses as he held a fiery rally Saturday night upstaging established Republican Party banquets a short distance away.

The Texas congressman drew a couple thousand standing and chanting people to Kansas City's Union Station as the party's establishment dined on steak across the street at the Missouri GOP's annual conference. Kansas Republicans were holding a similar convention in a suburb across the state line.

Paul staged his rally near the nation's World War I museum, asserting that the U.S. got off track about 100 years ago during the era of President Woodrow Wilson, who led the nation through World War I and unsuccessfully advocated for the nation's involvement in a forerunner of the United Nations.

"We've slipped away from a true Republic," Paul said. "Now we're slipping into a fascist system where it's a combination of government and big business and authoritarian rule and the suppression of the individual rights of each and every American citizen."

In 1863 Union leader Abraham Lincoln delivered a short speech full of historical errors and outright untruths. In the interest of historical accuracy, the speech has been corrected below. Where possible, the original language has been maintained.

Four score and seven years ago our fathers declared independence from the United Kingdom and then went on to form a loose confederation of independent states which was scrapped a few years later in favour of a somewhat more centralised federation of states. Some of our ancestors have been agitating since that time to further impose their values upon others, consolidate power and make the voluntary Union compulsory.

Now are are waged in a great war to centralise power and and gain economic and political benefits over Southerners, testing whether we can prevail on the battle-field and dominate the South for many generations to come. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that our vision of involuntary, centralised government might be forced upon others. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.

But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate, we can not consecrate, we can not hallow this ground. The men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have advanced through superior manpower, funding and supply of arms. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us – that from these dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion – that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain – that this involuntary union, under an unconstrained executive, shall have fewer freedoms and more centralised power – and that government in Washington, DC, by Northern elites, for their economic and political interests, shall not perish from the earth.

Exports cut to Britain, France, Iranian Oil Ministry says

Via NC Renegade

Iran has halted oil shipments to Britain and France, the Oil Ministry said Sunday, in an apparent pre-emptive blow against the European Union after the bloc imposed sanctions on Iran's crucial fuel exports.

The EU imposed tough sanctions against Iran last month, which included a freeze of the country's central bank assets and an oil embargo set to begin in July. Iran's Oil Minister Rostam Qassemi had warned earlier this month that Tehran could cut off oil exports to "hostile" European nations. The 27-nation EU accounts for about 18 percent of Iran's oil exports.

From The PJ Tatler:
Only 63.7% of working-age Americans are currently in the workforce – the lowest in almost 29 years!
To put it another way, 36.3% of working-age Americans do not have a job and are not even looking.

Less than 2/3rds of working age adults in this country are employed or actively seeking employment. That leaves over a 3rd of working-age Americans gaining some sort of income from some other source than a regular job. They are either receiving government subsidies (food stamps and such),off the books employment (odd jobs and such),charity,or they are involved in various criminal enterprises.

This isn't good at all. This is a powder keg waiting to explode.

Bad Mood Rising

With all of the prepping that I have been doing it has always been my goal to protect K and myself. K has seen glimpses of what is happening but cannot connect the dots and is not helping as I would like she needs to. K has depression and takes meds for it. I have hypertension and take meds. I have tried to fill all scripts a week early and stash the pills for months now. I have a 60 day supply currently and she has a 15 day because she waits until she has one pill left before telling me she needs a refill. This is not going well.

K likes the fact that we can grow a garden and that I have purchased items to ensure that we can safely stock up on what we grow for future use. However she does not have the initiative to learn how to use them let alone use them after I show her how. I basically have to prep on this front alone.

I know that the wintertime is especially depressing and I guess it is getting at me too with all the cloudy days and not being able to work outside. I need to get started on some projects including starting some seeds for the spring however she is dragging me down with her right now. I know I will rebound but with all that is going on now and even knowing what is coming for us all I have begun to realize one of my worst fears.

Record 19 reporters, media execs join Team Obama

Via Puma By Design

For some Washington reporters and media execs, cheering their team from the sidelines just isn’t good enough: Tugging on a red, white and blue Team Obama jersey is the answer.
That’s the case for a whopping 19 journalists and media executives, including five from the Washington Post and three each from ABC and CNN, who’ve gone into the administration or center-left groups supporting the president.

Those inside the administration hit 14 this month when the Post’s Stephen Barr joined the Labor Department. That’s a record, say some revolving door watchers, and could even be much higher: The Post reports that “dozens” of former journalists have joined the administration, although Washington Secrets couldn’t verify that tally.

California shooting latest woe for immigration agency

The deadly office shooting in California involving a federal immigrations supervisor and a special agent is the latest mark against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the law enforcement agency created after the 2001 terror attacks.

Its officers and agents have themselves been arrested for crimes, accused of improper relationships with informants, convicted in embezzlement cases, and more.

Insiders said ICE, which operates under the Department of Homeland Security, struggles to overcome internal friction and competing cultures among employees who worked at the different federal agencies that were combined nine years ago to form ICE: the former Customs Service in the Treasury Department and the Justice Department's Immigration and Naturalization Service.

"It was more like a hostile takeover and Customs clearly had the upper hand," said T.J. Bonner, a retired Border Patrol agent who has worked with ICE. He described the agency's formation as "an unfriendly merger."

Re-post from 2005: Bill France Dead, Proud Of His Confederate Heritage, but his descendant's blood runs thin

I don't follow NASCAR, but upon further research, it appears that his son, Brian, is the Anti-Confederate culprit. See below. I guess he didn't 'brung his chile' up rite.'

"Bill France was proud of his southern heritage and the heroism that is symbolized by the Confederate battle flag --- but the wrists have grown limp and the blood runs thin."

NASCAR's Principles | December 9, 2005

THE BLOOD RUNS THIN AMONG THE DESCENDANTS OF BILL FRANCE

In 1975, dissatisfied with the Presidency of Gerald Ford, several of us joined together in an effort to launch, if not a new political party at least an independent Presidential candidacy.

Our group, which included Richard Viguerie, Paul Weyrich, Kevin Phillips, Pat Buchanan, Bob Walker, Charlie Snider, Bill Rusher, and Kenneth Rast, met privately at various times with former California Governor Ronald Reagan, former Texas Governor John Connally, and former Alabama Governor George Wallace.

In connection with the approach to Wallace, we were hosted by Wallace's close friend, Bill France, who founded the racetracks at Daytona Beach, Florida, Talladega, Alabama, and elsewhere.

On one particularly memorable day, several of us enjoyed Bill France's hospitality at the Talladega track, where Mr. France evidenced great sympathy for our purposes.

It was, therefore, sad to discover the extent to which Bill France's progeny have departed from the elder France's Constitutional principles.

According to Frank Gillispie at charter.net, "Brian France, boss of NASCAR, continues his efforts to turn his back on the people who drove his organization into a billion dollar business. He told correspondent Lesley Stahl on 60 Minutes, It's not a flag that I look at with anything favorable. Thats for sure, France added that he cannot tell people what flags to fly that he does not encourage the battle flag.

"In fact, Confederate emblems are already forbidden from display anywhere NASCAR has control.

"Any area that NASCAR controls at the racetrack, you will never see the Confederate flag, said NASCAR diversity director Tish Sheets in a recent interview. It is not allowed on race cars, driver uniforms, in the garage area or any NASCAR-licensed product.

"That was made clear several years ago when the Sons of Confederate Veterans budgeted funds to sponsor a car. NASCAR refused to allow the sponsorship even though several teams were struggling to stay in existence."

Bill France was proud of his southern heritage and the heroism that is symbolized.

“When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion — when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing — when you see money flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors

— when you see that men get richer by graft and pull than by work, and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you — when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice — you may know that your society is doomed.”

"Every Communist must grasp the truth, “Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.” "Our principle is that the Party commands the gun, and the gun must never be allowed to command the Party."
– Mao Tse-tung

Which of these famous figures in world history had his likeness displayed on a Christmas ornament on a Christmas tree inside the White House 2 years ago?

It was Chairman Mao Tse-tung

Lets not beat around the bush. It is All about guns and Liberty. Everything these elites in power do revolves ultimately about guns. It is guns, and only guns, that give these pieces of shit their power. It is guns that they fear. It is guns that they must if they are to take over my country in order to rule with an iron fist. It is guns in the hands of we the people that stands in the way of eradication of our 1st Amendment Liberty.

It is guns that they must take from the populous in order to obtain that absolute power. It is guns they understand like none other which are the real power behind anything once the power of morality and faith have been eradicated. It is guns this system of government now lives by, because if you do not comply, it is guns that ultimately are used in the escalation of force up to your death no matter the cost or consequences. It is guns that they use to enforce everything.

And it is guns in the hands of We The People that they fear most.

Any thing else, is a cheap side show.
