I have to laugh at the applauding in church comment. I too was taught that. Recently, my older son, who no longer attends church said, "Dad, churches went down the drain when they started applauding." Of course, he was talking about Southern Baptists and I agree with him. When you find yourself agreeing with your children, life is good.

I was really disappointed in the audience's reaction.
