      I've seen guy use old refrigerators to store welding rods. They wire it so that a light burns in it all the time to keep it dry inside. Otherwise it will sweat unless of course it is actually running.

    Not a bad Idea.... my only concern is lack of a real way to secure the "box".... but I do happen to have an (extra) fridge in the garage.
