    1. Isn't that the truth Brock, a person never feels in their mind what their years add up. Sometimes I look in the mirror and think "Who the hell is that?!"

  2. 2012 photo was also taken in side lighting: that adds to the wrinkled look.

  4. :) By the way, the outfit was made after the one my great, great grandfather wore when he got married early 1800's and that I wore to the Hunley Funeral/Ball. It came with a black tie, but for Dixie's coming out I wore preacher's collars. They had a hanging judge, so I guess they could have had a hanging preacher.:)

  5. WOW!!!

    That's YOU and Dixie?

    WOW!!!

We finally know what you look like.

    Thanks.

It makes you less of a long distance stranger.

  7. I'm 26 until I look in a mirror then I'm old again. I hate it when my kids call me the "Old Man". Ah, but my grandson thinks I'm cool.

  9. Is that you with the camera sitting at the intersection of Cong Ly and Nguyen Hue streets?

I've been in exactly that very same spot, back in 1969 -1970, when I was with the Phu Lam Signal Battalion.

Do you know where Phu Lam was?

Very few people do, unless they were assigned there.

It wasn't a small outfit, just not well known.
