Atheists, Bureaucrats Attack Mom & Pop Restaurant Over Sunday Worshiper Discount

Those nearby are encouraged to give them some business.

In anything even vaguely resembling a free country, no one would imagine that the government should prevent a private business from offering discounts to Sunday worshipers. However, in the moonbattery-ravaged USSA:

A family-owned restaurant in Pennsylvania is under a state discrimination investigation for offering a ten percent discount for diners who present a church bulletin on Sundays.

The Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission confirmed there is an investigation against Prudhomme’s Lost Cajun Kitchen in the town of Columbia.

The complaint was filed by retired busybody John Wolff, who self-righteously declares that he doesn’t like “self-righteous religious people.” The authoritarian thug who sicced the bureaucratic hell hounds of Big Government on a mom & pop business grouses about his hatred of the “religious right that seems to intrude on our civil rights.”

According to the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, a restaurant classified as a public accommodation. As such, restaurants are not allowed to discriminate based on religion — among other things.

This helps illustrate that feel-good “civil rights” legislation is side door tyranny, fundamentally opposed to our most basic liberties.

At least those with a nostalgic fondness for the concept of freedom can console themselves that no one will prevent businesses from offering discounts to atheists, perverts, Muslims, non-whites, et cetera.

  1. Listened to this whole tale on Mark Levin Live last night. What a sick twisted place this is becoming.

  3. I wonder if the atheist protests about "Children eat free Tuesdays," or Senior Citizen discounts.
