My father went through something like that. Got clipped by another car into the other lane. Cars going left and right trying to avoid him and he couldn't get his door open. He kept slamming his body weight on the door and it finally opened. Just as he cleared the car, another car broadsided the passenger side and hit it so hard, it lifted the car into the air, flipped 1 1/2 onto its roof and caught on fire. He then realized he had soiled himself.

Wow was he lucky. ======== ======== Quick death, that's for sure. My friend, Michael fell asleep at 19 and hit a tractor trailer loaded with water melons head on in his Jag. He was buried with the shift knob in his hand.
