Another "non-terrorist attack" by muslim terrorist

Via Don
A man thought to be an Islamic extremist is believed to have shot the windows out of at least two businesses in Alabama City early Sunday to lure police officers to the area and engage them in a shootout.
Luis Ibarra-Hernandez, 21, from Albertville, was charged today with attempted murder, according to a news release from the Gadsden Police Department.

“After the man was taken into custody, he reported that he knew he must do something extreme to draw attention to Islam and himself, so he planned to shoot police officers,” Gadsden Police Capt. Regina May said.

The very cop mentioned by name in the article as the negotiator has called BS on the "Muslim terrorist" part...

He says "this guy was as Christian as you or I."

Look at the facebook comments on the article:

Jonathan, please take good notes. As one of the good guys present for the attempted murder of "us" by said bad guy, this demon was not a Muslim. Evil, demented and a waste of oxygen, yes. But not a Muslim.
In his "world of mediocrity" it sound cool to call yourself that, which I'm sure is why he said it. I'm going to give you some inside details to the actual "negotiation", since half of the Mill Village watched it live and I'm sure there are a few phone videos floating around out there of us. The ONLY thing that caused him to give up was his convicted soul.
God used me as a tool (although a rusty one) to convince him that his actions were ultimately going to land him in hell. He is a failure, and a fool, but to call him an Islamic extremist is underestimating the enemy. Although I don't agree with or believe in Islam, you can't deport people for their religion.
This is America. Not Nazi Germany. I'm a police officer. Not a member of the Gestapo. I protect people and their rights, I don't round up people because of their God. This guy was as Christian as you or I. Now who do you blame?
Why not try to witness to Muslims and change their heart, instead of violate their civil rights? Thank GOD those little rubber bracelets didn't say "What would Jonathan do?" We would all be doomed.

Luis is not a demon. Yes he is deeply troubled but I have been around him numerous times and am in complete disbelief that this even happened. He has never said one thing about Islam either. He has been to church with my family several times and even helped serve at the soup kitchen.
Nobody knows when someone will go off the deep end. I cannot say that there were not signs of instability though. Just Thursday night at my 2 year old son's birthday party he shook my hand and congratulated me on my son receiving another gift...Something was not right!
I am just saddened that his unborn baby will likely never know his father. I am so glad that everyone was safe including myself because he apparently parked the truck my mom let him use at my house then walked to the church. Don't judge. Pray!

I'm from that area in Alabama. I talked to several people personally who say he is in no way, shape or form a "Muslim"...

  2. You're a detective and don't know it!:)

Wonder where the Captain got his information?

“After the man was taken into custody, he reported that he knew he must do something extreme to draw attention to Islam and himself, so he planned to shoot police officers,” Gadsden Police Capt. Regina May said.

  3. The cops and locals at his church all say that he's "a troubled man"... Hell, I can say I want to draw attention to Judaism and myself", but that don't make me Jewish! lol...

This guy is Hispanic, went to Christian churches. The only connection he has to "Islam" is whatever he said to the cops. He's never been to a mosque; never "converted" to Islam, and no Muslims in the area have ever heard of him, or seen him at their services or hang-outs...

I asked several people who would know... Zip.
